I cut up the quest into sections to make editing it easier for me as I get crits.

Marking as Special since he would, if possible, have a specialized familiar. Other then that Seren is an Ars Lilium character by training and a street performer by trade and if I don't need the 'SP' type of marking on the quest let me know. <3

Race: Human
Starting Stage: Ars Lilium
Gender: Male
Height: 5'2
Weight: Light weight
Build: A thin, strong frame that is well toned after a whole lot of training in the way of acrobatics.
Skin Tone: Pale Peach
Eye Color: Midnight Blue
Hair Color: Not sure, a lighter shade of color. Maybe blond or red, something that fits the theme of his fiery half of his powers where his eyes match the sky half. I can't quite decide hair color.

Goals/Bio/Personality
Aspirations: Now that he has attained the power of an Ars Lillium and was blessed in meeting his familiar, Seren wants nothing more then to become someone worthy to entertain royalty and other higher ups with both his magic, his tricks, his acrobatics, and other such things. He is, and always has been, an entertainer in the most innocent use of the word. To be able to entertain royalty especially would be proof that all the time that he, and his familiar have spent in learning the tricks of the trade weren't in vain.
Personality: Seren has always been a sweet, friendly, and helpful sort of boy seeming to show no real scars from his somewhat strange childhood other then the need to prove himself to his mother. He is the first to try to cheer up a friend, or even a complete stranger, with his various tricks and kind words. Being able to bring someone from the verge of tears to a smile is what he sees as being the ultimate victory. He is also someone that will share what it is that he has with those that need it, be it the notes he'd taken during classes while he was still in school to the money that he makes from doing tricks in his shows as a street performer. He keeps only what is needed for him and his familiar to travel comfortable and donates the rest to those that are in need in whatever town he is in at the time. Going hand in hand with his sweetness is innocence which leads to him being a touch oblivious to who might pose a threat to his safety, luckily for him though he has his familiar who seems to keep an eye on him while he is out playing and play he does. His familiar is a bit like a watch dog in that sense... though a bit of a small one, all bark and no bite, super friendly, and always at his partner's side.
It's easily to tell at a glance that the young Ars Lilium has a bit of a hard time focusing on serious things other then his pursuit of his mother's approval, not really wanting to really use his powers, at present at least, in any sort of battle. He seems to be a pacifist at heart and doesn't understand why problems have to be solved with swords, magic, and violence in the same manner that his mother does. Why not another way? Why not his more safe, fun way? As such he will be far more likely to dodge a battle, preferring to help others to safety, instead of rushing headlong into such. He will also use some of his tricks to bedazzle those that his familiar sees as dangerous so that the two of them can retreat, his favorite being the equivalent to glittering, star shaped juggling balls that, when shatter, explode into a mass of glitter and sparkling light. Better to blind and daze those sorts for a moment so he can make a clean get away instead of wanting to hurt anyone permanently, he will leave such things to those that are able to handle having blood on their hands, which is something that causes Seren sharp pains in his stomach at the mere thought.

Short Biography/background: Seren was born to an unlikely pair of parents, a woman who serves among the Cerberus Knights and a man that serves the Black Hearts. They never got together and he was an accident, something he learned early and heard from time to time from his father on the few occasions that he met with the man while he was younger, visits that because fewer and fewer as he grew before the man vanished all together, back to the ranks as far as he knows. His parents meet up from time to time, seeming to be unable to avoid each other forever despite the mutual dislike of one another, something that Seren finds more then a little strange but he doesn't really question it. It is their time, their lives, and their decisions so who is he to question their strange relationship. It is because of the vast amount of time that he found himself alone when he was younger that he started to fiddle around with the idea of being an entertainer because the street performers that he saw in town drew a lot of attention to themselves. To start out with he decided that he wanted to learn such things in an attempt to get the attention of his parents but it was something that evolved quickly from there.
One of street performers in the town of Lumena where he lives took him on as her apprentice after much pleading on the part of Seren and he found himself spending more and more time with her over the years learning everything from walking on his hands, back flips, juggling, tight rope walking, and various other things like that. He seemed to be good at it but he wasn't allowed to follow only the path of a street performer for long, the moment he was old enough he found himself sent off to the academy where he would learn a 'more respectable craft' because he was of proud blood and needed to follow his mother's path and become a Cerberus Knight. It was something he felt little interest in though, try as he might, but he did at least take the first step in that direction, going through all his basic training at the academy, and from there took on the training needed to become an Ars Lillium all while using his magical skills and aptitude to make his performances that much more showy. And then there was the appearance of his familiar when he because an Ars Lilium, and he found himself with that many more people watching his act as he learned that the only thing better then a cute guy performing was a cute creature helping out as his helper.
His familiar is often seen among the things that Seren is juggling, and also ends up knocking the glittering, magical stars from his hands as he does so, sometimes on accident and sometimes on purpose since his familiar loves to chase after them and catch them in its mouth. When they fall to the ground and collide with it they burst into what looks to consist of a mass of temporary glitter which seems to make up to the crowd for those times he drops his juggling balls. He also makes things for tense when Seren is tight rope walking by floating around him, under him, and sitting on his head among other things that can be rather distracting.
The two of them are quite the entertaining team, drawing decent crowds as they travel from city to city, and, hopefully one day, they will find themselves entertaining enough to be allowed to perform for the royals. He hopes that, if he does that, his mother will decide his chosen path, while not the most conventional, is worthy of her blood.

Tea Name: Burning Sky Tea
Tea Ingredients:
22✤ Embers
embers leftover from the campfire. Perhaps they could be of some use.
26✤ Moonstone Runes
A handful of small moonstones with ancient runes carved into them. Someone must have dropped them.
36✤ Glowing Cinders
Persevering before they diminish, they prove to be beautiful and hypnotic.
58✤ Jar of Rainbows
Just looking at it makes you happy.
101✤ Moondrop
A graceful and mysterious gem that at times appears liquid.
127✤ Firecracker
Explodes into fancy colors and sounds.
Magical Theme:
The ingredients that were picked while Seren was in the Grave of Fairies were a mixture of things that reminded him of the night sky, that being the moonstones and moondrop, or things that were fiery or tied to fire like the embers, glowing cinders, and firecracker. The jar of rainbows on the other hand that was something that he saw and just couldn't resist, not only was it something that was fascinating to see a rainbow in a jar but it was brightly colored in a manner that he couldn't walk away from despite trying to do so repeatedly. As such he just ended up circling around to it time after time while collecting his other tea ingredients until he finally gave in and added it to the other five ingredients hoping it wouldn't sour his tea.
Overall the feel of his magic is something that remind those that saw it of fireworks, fireballs, and glitter, able to call up things similar to flash bangs. The weak version explode into little more then bright colors, sparkles, and a bit of a pop when he adds only a touch of power his put into them. A bigger flash and loud noise when more power is put into them, not exactly dangerous but definitely something that can stagger and bedazzle a potential opponent or threat.
Another way he manipulates his magic is to call up glittering balls that appear almost as though they are made of swirling balls of multicolored fire to juggle them during the shows that he puts on. The juggling balls react in the same way as the flash bang spell when dropped or thrown, bursting into colorful glitter.
Familiar: I am not quite sure what to put here, I am not completely sure what we are allowed to enter for when it comes to familiars for the character creation contest though if I could pick anything for him it would be more of a elemental type creature like what was featured in the Bio FS I created the character for. A loyal critter like that suited the head in the cloud, happy go lucky Seren as well as his magic and career choice more then the more common familiars do.
