Explanation of Dorms
Teacher Dorms
Teachers must be active members of the guild. No exceptions. If your teacher character is constantly missing their class, then they're not doing their job and will get fired. Now if you have a reason for not being online, then you need to tell a crew member or post in the absence thread.
Watchlist Dorm
These dorms is where all the new members of the guilds will have their characters placed. It's not so much of a bad thing. We just want to make sure you're active. So we will be watching you and your characters. If we feel you are active enough, we will put you in the Active dorms. If you are always busy and can't always post, make sure to check in with us so we can move you to the Inactive dorms because if you stay on the Watchlist dorm for too long, you will get kicked out of the guild. This is how we weed out our inactive members who don't bother to warn us if they'll be leaving or decided to join and post a character just for kicks.
Inactive Dorms
These dorms are for people who can't be online all the time but want to earnestly RP with everyone. It's fine if these people come online and post and stick around for at least an hour or so every now and then. Also, people who post in the absence thread or tell a crew member about their absence will be put here. In this dorm, no one needs to be worried about being kicked out. But we won't allow people to post one time and then leave people to be locked or stuck because of your character. We also won't allow an absence that is taking way to long and you're not even bothering to check in with us every now and then.
Active Dorms
These dorms are for people who are always active or are often active. They will most likely be online when evening comes so the dorms won't be boring since there are active members here. You can't ask to be in these dorms if you're a new member. We will decide after we see your performance while you're staying in the watchlist. For those that are in the Inactive dorms, as long as they promise to stay active, then they will be moved into these dorms.
