Bukijutsu/Kenjutsu ( Sword Technique )

User Image

Kenjutsu (剣術; Literally meaning "Sword Technique") pertains to techniques that entail the use of swords, whether the users be shinobi or samurai. Kenjutsu can be used in combination with taijutsu, ninjutsu, chakra flow and even genjutsu in order to achieve more devastating techniques. The entire military might of the lone samurai nation of the Land of Iron, have so-far all been depicted as practitioners of kenjutsu. Among the shinobi nations, the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist are particularly well known as kenjutsu practitioners. Also, a majority of Kumogakure shinobi are swordsmen.

Bukijutsu Mist Style

Style Name: Hidden Mist Standard Sword Style

Official Mist style taijutsu

Style Description: The Hidden Mist Sword Style is the one most commonly used by the shinobi of Kirigakure no Sato. It has been used for a long time, and has a fine tradition, in which the styles basics and moves are taught directly from master to pupil. Used as a focus, it is a pure weapon style, based solely upon the ancient tradition of sword fighting.

Style Basis: Weapon

Training Methods: Training is usually done with a sword. Any type of sword will do, though the usual is katana or cleaver sword. High amounts of sword swings, target practice, muscle building, and agility practice are done, to bring about the full potential of the shinobi. The various techniques, stances, and forms are usually taught by master to pupil, though it is entirely possible for a student to learn the moves on his/her own.

Movement: The users of this style are fluid, graceful sword fighters, who are capable of smoothly moving forward to attack an opponent. Defense is of little use to a practitioner of this style, since it is considered that the best defense is a great offense. Quick reflexes, powerful attacks, and a balanced position make the user a deadly sword fighter.

Stage One
Academy

The user is at the most basic level in terms of speed and strength. Though a bit faster and stronger than most other shinobi at the same level, it is nothing amazing. The most the user can do at the moment is just swing his blade(s) around.

Regular Techniques: N/A

Special Techniques: N/A

Stage Two
Genin

The user now has the basic rudiments of the style down. Capable of basic strikes, the user can inflict some damage, but usually nothing incredibly serious (except done by accident). Speed has increased, though not by much. The strength has increased as well, allowing the user to hack away at a tree trunk and have it sliced through in a matter of seconds.

Regular Techniques: N/A

Special Techniques: N/A

Stage Three
Genin

The user is can use the style with a bit more ease, capable of inflicting more damage and implementing more speed and strength. However, the user isn't at a level yet where he is extremely dangerous to anyone except a lower level taijutsu user or a genin without taijutsu training.

Regular Techniques: N/A

Special Techniques: N/A

Stage Four
Chuunin

The user can now hold his own in a swordfight, although against a higher-level shinobi he would go down easily. The speed and strength of the user has increased slightly, but in such a way that now movements are much more efficient, with less wasteful moves. The user’s reaction speed is now more noticeable, allowing the user to dodge and move in a way that is much more effective then before.

Regular Techniques: N/A

Special Techniques:

Double Sword Technique
Description: With intensive training, the user of the style can learn to wield two blades instead of just one. This can only be done with katana or smaller weapons. When using two blades, the effectiveness of the user can double or even triple under the right circumstances.

Stage Five
Chuunin

The blade is now an extension of the body, something that the user can use like an arm or a leg. While not perfect with the style skills, the user has now learned the simple fact that the straight line is the fastest path to follow. Using this simple principle, the user moves in a series of straight lines that allows him to move up close to the opponent and strike. Speed and power hasn’t increased at all, but it seems as if it has because of the application of this principle. The reaction time of the user, however, has increased again, allowing the user to see and react reflexively to most attacks below his skill level.

Regular Techniques: N/A

Special Techniques:

Chakra Edge
Description: By coating a layer of chakra over the blade of a sword, the user can increase the width and length of the blade. The actual extension is chakra, and so is invisible to the eye. The Chakra Edge can only go a maximum of one foot above the length of the blade and half a foot over the width of the blade.

Stage Six
Jounin

The speed of the user rises dramatically, and is so fast that normal people can barely keep track. The user is now a blur when in motion. The only ninja capable of watching the user are taijutsu specialist of a high level, and doujutsu users that specifically give them the ability to see/predict movements. However, the user cannot keep up this speed for long because his muscles will slowly begin to tear apart, leaving the user incapable of using them. The strength of the user is now at it's limits. Nothing can stop the blade of the user, except for a very few jutsu, weapons, and ninja. Normal steel can be cut through easily. The strength of the user, though, is not used fully correctly, wasting some effort and movement to access the strength of the user. So there is a great strain on the muscles when used too much, and this can stop the user's movements.

Regular Techniques: N/A

Special Techniques: N/A

Stage Seven
Kage/Saanin

The user can now move at a speed that is so fast that afterimages are seen instead of the person. This, however, can only be kept up for a short period of time (3 posts) and afterwards, the user cannot move for a total of 10 posts. Also, muscles are ripped, and the user must heal to fight again. There is slight change in the strength and a change on how the strength is used. The user can now control his strength fully, without wasted movements or effort. However, like Stage 6, the muscles can be strained too much and be ripped or even destroyed. The weapons are more then extensions of the body now. The blades are the body. The pure grace and skill within the user is so high that it can only be described as awe-inspiring.

Regular Techniques: N/A

Special Techniques: N/A

Stage Eight:
Kage/Kage level Satsubatsu

Discovered by both Zane Hajime and Luo Ushio, it is a stage which improves on all other aspects of the style other than the blade itself since that has already been mastered. Seeming to be an evolutionary progression specific to this style, the users over-used and consistently torn muscle fibers begin to adapt. The adaptation is so great, that new muscle has overlapped the old ones, and a new pairing of rubber-like ligaments has formed. These new coiled ligaments cause the movement speed of the seventh stage to be sustained for longer periods of time before the new ligaments are torn (10 posts). This evolutionary step combined with the graceful movement of this style cause flexibility to shoot up three fold. The fabled reaction time of a master swordsmen has now truly revealed itself as what some would call a sixth sense so great, the body reacts before the mind. In this stage, the movement speed is incredible. So quick is this stages movement speed, after images seem to perform movements as opposed to standing still (4 posts until muscle tearing). As well, the speed of the seventh stage can now be concentrated into one limb as opposed to full body movement as control of the seventh stage's speed has been mastered. Even the sharingan itself is unable to follow this individuals movement, or differentiate between after image, or actual shinobi. When the blade moves, it blurs confusing the enemy's course of action. It is said that the users grasp of spacing in swordplay is so great, changes in air current which predict movement within 15 yards can be noticed. The grace of this stage is unparalleled, and revered by shinobi across the great countries and can only be taught by the masters of this style.

Techniques:
Greater Chakra Edge: Although the widening and lengthening of the blade with chakra is still performable, this techniques power lies in its elusiveness. Covering only the length of the users blade in the invisible coat of chakra, this chakra edge holds the capability of cutting through shields made of chakra related ninjutsu of chuunin level and below, as well as the lesser chakra edge as well. The true power of this chakra edge is its ability to create arcs of chakra as long as the user can swing his blade which can travel through the air unnoticed towards an opponent, cutting with the same strength it had while attached to the blade. Three arcs can be made before having to reform another chakra edge, but it is a well worth it price to pay for a deadly and invisible technique.

The Way of the Silent Blade [Yaiba no Mokumoku]

Official Mist Hunter Nin Style

This is a ancient style, focusing on speed and accuracy. A good assassin kills in a single blow, and it forced into a confrontation, will seek to end it as quickly as possible. To this end certain weapons are cut out for assassins, but most are not. The most common weapons an assassin uses are short swords of various types, Kunai, shurikans, ect... Oddly enough, even larger swords, such as the Zambatou have found uses among the assassin ranks. The ultimate close range weapon of the Assassin is the Assassins blades. These allow him to make maximum usage of his speed, with blades that are located on all primary striking locations on the body.

Their training in agility is for obvious reasons; accuracy is trained upon so that an Assassin may strike vital locations with ease, furthering their ability to strike down their opponents. Critics of the style argue that because of the lack of training in areas such as Strength and Endurance, if cornered an assassin is at a disadvantage. This, while true, does not hinder the typical assassin, as the shadows are their allies, and most pride themselves on their ability to remain hidden.

Unlike most Taijutsu styles, assassins do not shun other forms of fighting; rather many assassins make use of Genjutsus, as this gives them a much needed edge is hostile territory to bring their opponents down.

Stage 1
Academy

Ichi Taira

This stage primarily teaches a practitioner how to move. Speed is an assassin’s best friend, and the ability to stay out of reach of their opponent saves many an Assassins life. Once they have shown progress in speed, they then begin to learn vital spots on the human body, allowing them to strike with greater accuracy and precision. They also have some basic training in throwing weapons such as Kunai.

Stage 2
Genin

Ni Taira

This stage is focused on helping an Assassins kill. It is an intricate training of accuracy, forcing the assassin in training to learn to hit targets from great distances. It also teaches the assassin where to hit to slow the opponent, as well as instant kill and paralyzing locations. In this stage, the hunter is heavily taught in the study of biology. If the human body is not known inside and out, then the hunter's training ends here.

Techniques:
Oshi-Ten Dageki (Pressure Point Strike): The hunter-nin can no longer look at an opponents body regularly. To their eyes, the opponent's body is riddled with the pin point bullseye's of the pressure point targets used in this stage of training. This technique can run from the chuunin level at twenty strikes, to the satsubatsu level of one-hundred and twenty strikes. The strikes begin at the lower parts of the body. Always. This is to ensure that the hunter works his way quickly up the opponents body, striking pressure points in order to not only paralyze limbs (10 Posts), but to rupture blood vessels, and redirect blood flow to different areas of the body to cause massive heart trauma. The pinacle of this technique is the five point heart strike. Initiated around the heart in a pentagram, this causes an individual's heart to literally cease pumping blood and drown itself with it, causing it to literally burst within five minutes (5 posts).

Stage 3
Chuunin

San Taira

This stage is known as the weapons focus stage. The trainee picks from among his used weapons and chooses to specialize in one, taking time to train with it, and it specifically. The other weapons become mere secondary. The assassin applies this weapon, never letting it away from him. For the rest of his life he never puts it down, always seeking to become the perfect wielder of it, a goal that is almost certain to always be just out of their grasp, always propelling them onwards.

Stage 4
Chuunin

Shi Taira

This stage goes back to the good old theory of survival. However, an Assassin who has survived this long has come to realize that sometimes speed and maneuverability will fail you, and sometimes you can’t help but take a few hits. So during this phase of the training, the assassin will not only train his Agility, but also run for long periods of time, pushing his endurance to its limits as well. In addition to this, the hunter-nin undergoes "rice paper training." The hunter is made to train during this stage strictly on rice paper to improve agility, as well as the ability to move silently. The training is effective, and often yields greats results.

Techniques:
Seishuku Hokousha (Silent Walker): At this stage in the hunter-nin training, a hunter-nin holds the capability of moving for extended periods of time (ten posts) unheard. No matter what surface they may walk on, their steps are unheard due to strict training.

Stage 5
Jounin

Go Taira

This stage is often known as the Weapon mastery stage. The user has become so in tune with his weapon that it has become a part of him. Every motion is fluid, as if the weapon itself was a part of him. This stage requires no particular training on its own; rather it comes from major experience with the weapon in question. Because of this, few Assassins reach this level of expertise.

Techniques:
Hitoshirenu Yaiba Jutsu (Art of the Hidden Blade): This is when the hunter-nin in question is granted the true blades of an assassin. The weapons are hidden and connected under the wrists with a lock spring fro quick and silent release. Is it said that in one fluid motion a true hunter-nin can reveal and kill with his blade in less than a fraction of a second.

Hitoshirenu Yaiba Odori (Hidden Blade Dance): Created strictly for multiple enemies, this dance is one of the most beautiful blade waltzes in all of Kirigakure, and would be recognized as such across the land if those who saw it lived to tell about it. The dance consists of combining open palmed strikes with the use of the hidden blade by simultaneously bringing out, and putting it back in its fixed position. The arms are left extended during palm strikes, and are brought in when in close enough range for a blade strike. This combination allows for the hunter to keep multiple enemies at bay while attacking one or two simultaneously with the intent to kill.

Stage 6
Anbu Jounin

Roku Taira

Back to the basics, the Assassin realizes that the original training is just as important today as it was back then. Focusing on furthering their speed, they also practice their aim, sharpening their skills to a point beyond most people. Dummies are designed to mimic a human body, so that the assassin can further learn to nail vital organs, or specific points in the spine.

Techniques:
Junsei Seishuku Hokousha (Perfect Silent Walker): This is no longer a "technique," so much as apart of the hunter-nin in question. His steps are silent constantly, whether or not in combat. He holds such control over this ability that he can literally cause his steps to be heard in one stride, and not heard in the next in order to confuse the enemy. Few are the shinobi who can even fathom hearing this shinobi's foot steps before deaths silent embrace.

Stage 7
Kage

Shichi Taira
The ultimate level of achievement for an assassin, his ability to land killing blows undetected is beyond normal understanding. Almost ethereal, tales of Ghosts sticking down great leaders are often attributing to the more unbelievable victories of assassins. Their abilities to avoid obstacles and traps are famous amongst the higher ups of their respective villages, often earning them great praise. Every movement is precise, and most targets don’t even have a chance.

Techniques:
Junsei Kage Hokousha (Perfect Shadow Walker): Being viewed as a literal ghost, it is no wonder this shinobi is granted literal and complere invisibility in the shadows. This hunter can walk through a building, and literally disappear before your eyes the moment his body is immersed in a shadow cast by any object, or jutsu for that matter, making those who use shadow jutsu a threat to themselves in reality.

The Infinite One Sword Style (Mugen Ittoryu)
Advanced Taijutsu of the Hidden Mist and Hidden Leaf

The Infinite One Sword style was created as a way to improve the relationship between the Hidden Leaf and the Hidden Mist villages. It was a joint attempt made by the Hokage Likkys Hatake, the Mizukage Zane Hajime, the Anbu Captain Tares Damascus, and the Pride of the Mist Luo Ushio. The sword style is a fusion of Leaf’s Lotus Taijutsu and training, Gentle Fist style, Mist’s Sword style, and the creation of Swords. Rather than relying on a single good quality blade the practitioner makes use of hundreds of katana scattered around the battlefield. The practioner does not care about the quality of the blades he uses, and uses a variety of moves making use of a single blade, or even multiple blades at the same time. Because of his reliance on hundreds of blades scattered around the battlefield the practitioner almost always has a blade, or multiple blades handy for use. He uses his swords for various purposes beyond normal melee attacking, including use as projectiles, paths to walk on, pins to hinder his opponent's movements, and also use for making multiple simultaneous attacks on an enemy or even several enemies. As a means to promote further relations between Mist and Leaf, the practioners must be trained at both Kirigakure and Konohagakure. Note that only a creator of this style can teach the final stage.

Stage 1: The Body Training
Academy

In the first stage of the style, the practioner does nothing but train his body by wearing weighted armlets and leg weights. The user trains by simply moving constantly and training sessions look almost like boxing matches, with the user having to constantly move around and dodge the trainer. It is believed that teaching one how to survive is the first order of business.

Stage 2: The Movement Training
Genin

After the basic body building is complete, the user then begins training technique. The user is taught how to keep momentum up, and how to move one move into another. This allows for stronger blows and more fluid movements. The user also learns how to constantly circle an opponent, keeping him on guard constantly. This is essential to using the infinite sword by moving constantly

Stage 3: The Sword Training
Genin

After all the hand to hand taijutsu training is completed, the practitioner is finally given a sword. Any sword will do. In this stage, the practitioner is trained in the art of the sword. By the end of the training, the practitioner feels bit more ease, capable of inflicting more damage and implementing more speed and strength. However, the user isn't at a level yet where he is extremely dangerous to anyone except a lower level taijutsu user or a genin without taijutsu training.

Stage 4: The Double Sword style
Chuunin

At this stage, the practitioner is taught how to use swords in methods never even thought of. The practioner is trained in many different forms:
Form 1: Balance…the practitioner is asked to stand and balance on the hilt of the blade on one foot while the blade has been stuck to the ground.
Form 2: Accuracy…the practitioner is trained on throwing a katana at an enemy. Usually a katana is not used as throwing weapons, but this is an essential part of the training. The practioner must have perfect accuracy by throwing the weapon at a bull’s-eye from 30 yards away.
Form 3: Dual wielding…the final form at this stage is the ability to wield two swords at once. This is only a small milestone in the sword style, but it is a step that needs to be taken.

Special Techniques:

Double Sword Technique
Description: With intensive training, the user of the style can learn to wield two blades instead of just one. This can only be done with katana or smaller weapons. When using two blades, the effectiveness of the user can double or even triple under the right circumstances

Double Shimmering Path:
Description: The practitioner throws two swords at once at high speeds at the opponent

Stage 5: The Summoning
Chuunin

At this stage, the user must seek out a Blacksmith to create hundreds of swords for him to use and seal them in a scroll. The user is taught the summoning weapons technique in order to summon the swords unto the battlefield. After this is done, the practioner is now taught how to use several swords at once. Using Mist Sword style, the practioner can wield two swords in hand at once, and grab several of them to use as projectiles. Using Leaf Taijutsu, the practioner can grab swords with their toes and use their feet to wield blades as well.

Special Techniques:

Tobidōgu (Flying Tools):
Description: This jutsu allows the practioner to store their swords in a summoning scroll and summon them whenever they want. The practioner is taught how to summon hundreds of blades and make them rein upon the battlefield. If the opponent is not careful enough, he can be skewered to pieces from the initial summoning.

Three Shimmering Paths:
Description: Using it, the practioner grabs onto three of his swords and throws them onto the ground creating a path. Then running along these swords the swordsman grabs onto a fourth one and uses it to directly attack the opponent at high speeds, using the hilt of each sword to push himself for more momentum

Stage 6: The Skewering
Jounin

At this stage the swordfighter is taught in the Hyuga’s gentle fist style. But not in the way one would think. The practioner is taught how to implement the blade with the techniques of the Leaf’s Hyuga clan and how to implement the several dozen swords into one giant attack.

Special Techniques

Addition Blows (1-12)
Description: The practioner moves at high speeds to attack his enemy. After each hit he will let go of his sword to quickly use another to let him attack from different angles while his enemy is stunned from his previous blow. This leaves his enemy covered with twelve swords

Sword Fang:
Description: Practitioner begins by hitting three swords standing parallel to each other. They are hit near the end, causing all three of them to slash upwards, in the manner of a "fang".

Vertical Line:
Description: Following his Sword Fang; all three swords momentarily hover in the air, where Mifune will then proceed to use the current sword in his hand to sequentially hit each, thereby launching each of them directly at the enemy.

Stage 7: The Massacre
Jonin

By this time, the user has practically neared perfection. His blows are perfectly straight and powerful, the user knows where and how to hit his opponent's body to inflict as much damage as possible. Using wide, sweeping strike the user is kept spinning and moving, almost like a top while fighting. The movements are so fluid that, even with making such wide strikes they still often hit. The weapons are more than extensions of the body now. The blades are the body. The pure grace and skill within the user is so high that it can only be described as awe-inspiring. By this stage…the user can effectively wield one hundred blades simultaneously by moving at such high speeds that they can easily strike, drop the sword, pick another and strike again. To master this style, is to be called a demon.

Special Techniques:

Multiplication Twenty Four Blows
Description: The practitioner will follow his Addition Blows with this attack. He strikes the swords that he left around his enemy from his Addition Blows which ends up cutting his enemy with the twelve swords all over again.

Stage Eight: Hells Ascension
Sanin

At this stage, the sword master is said to have been granted his mastery over the sword from Susano-o himself. The shinobi's mastery over the countless katana he wields is incomparable to any other style around. A master of this stage has the capability of literally destroying an army on his own without so much as a scratch. When he moves, it is as if you were watching the wind dance listlessly. His movements are also quick and effective, not one strike made simply to maim. It is in this stage that the sword wielder has caused such a connection with the blades he fights with, that he has the capability of calling one to him from 100 yards away. Incorporated into this stage are the flips, tricks, and twirls which make him not only hard to hit, but hard to see. The swordsman is said to have invisible hands, capable of making it seem as if one were fighting ten katana wielding shinobi at once. It would take at least three jounin to effectively stand a chance against one of this rank. He is no longer referred to as simply a demon, his blades said to be forged in the flames of hell.

Special Techniques:

Arashi Terekineshisu(Blade Telekinesis) Kage/Sannin Rank:
Description: As the blades are summoned into the battle ground, as long as the swordsman so much as touches one of them, it is instantly infused with a chakra mark. This mark, allows the swordsman to literally extend his hands and "call" a blade to each one, from 100 yards away.

Arashi Kyuuten(Heaven's Blade) Kage/Sannin Rank:
Description: Burning his chakra into the blades on the battlefield, the swordsman can literally cause one hundred blades to hover and shoot towards an opponent, either all at once, or one at a time for five posts. In a limited fashion, the swordsman can control up to ten blades effectively in close combat, as if they were extensions of his actions and will. The latter of these two actions can only be done for five posts at a time, and a period of three posts afterwards must pass before it can be done again.

The infinite Master Style #2-The Blazing Soul of Leaf

A ninth stage to the legendary technique, developed by the 7th Hokage Likkys Hatake. The technique combines the fusion blades he prefers, and the flexible sword style of the infinite one sword. There are primary differences though, instead of katanas hundreds of interlocking blades fall down onto the battlefied. These blades also react to chakra, and can move on their own, reacting to his chakra. Any extreme emotions concentrated when performing this technique can be devastating. This has resulted in the ninth stage being placed as a forbidden jutsu, to be used only during periods of emergencies. The blades are all custom made by the Leaf Master Blacksmith, Haakuzou and created to destroy.

Jounin

Element Crosslash: Likkys grabs three blades from the field surrounding him. Each reacts to his chakra, glowing a different color red, blue and Yellow. He then disappears, reappearing behind an opponent releasing three slashes. The first slash is electric, the second Fire, and the third is water, the elements of these slashes can be devastating.

Blade Beam Infinite: Likkys grabs nine seperate blades, charging them with his chakra and stabbing them in the ground to form a circle around his opoenent. He then stands over the first blade he set into the ground, and removes it, setting off a chain reaction and releasing the chakra stored in the eight other blades to set off simulteaneous beams of chakra, aiming at the enemy.

Meteorain: Likkys grabs any single blade and raises it into the air, releasng chakra into space. The result is six small meteors, composed of fire element, hitting the the enemy at random.

Three Elements Shield: Likkys grabs three blades at random, charging each with a different elemental chakra and interlocking them. He throws the blades up into the air, disengaging them to form a parachute shield of chakra around the user.

Sanin Rank:

Omnislash/Finale
Likkys rushes through his field of swords, picking up and inter locking five blades. He hits the anime with a fully assembled blade the first time, detatching two blades and slashing once more, while the two other blades attack simultaneously. He continues detaching the blades part by part, each time while the detached blades attack like ghost weapons, fueled by chakra. When their is only one blade left in his hands, Likkys shoves the blade into the ground releasing his chakra. The other blades embedded into the ground react to his will, and rush through the air simultaneously aiming at the opponent.

The Ninth Stage, (The Infinite Master)
Infinite Master Style #4: Soshi Arashi (Elemental Tempest):

Being one of the creators of the infinite swordstyle, infinite master Luo Ushio came to grow attached to the style, reaching a level so great, he needed to adapt even the blades themselves of which he used. Luo created the schematics for a special set of blades. Blades which had never been formed in the countries before. The interlocking, strange shaped "key blades" were his creation, and his to wield alone. Each one differing from the next, yielding difficulty for anyone who attempted to wield one. The ninth stage itself is something even the masters of this style themselves, fear using. It is a stage of such power and concentration, that after all of its abilities are used twice, the summoned blades are instantly transported back into their summoning scroll. Luo's master stage is one of manifestation. Through his blades, Luo's elements have been manifested through them, a true testament to his mastery of this style. The movement and attack style of this stage are almost incomprehensible. It is a true fusion of grace and power of such a high magnitude, it is a stage which Luo himself has created a ban on against using on any shinobi of less than the chuunin stage, and of the chuunin stage at least three chuunin should be present. It is named Elemental Tempest because the style is said to rival with Susano-o's mastery over the blade.

Techniques:

Kaen Arashi(Flame Tempest)Jounin Rank:
This techniques strength is put at a jounin rank for its simplicity, and is in fact the manifestation of Luo's fire element. By forming a single seal either the moment the blades are summoned, each one glows red for less than a second. The moment anyone other than Luo attempts to touch any of the blades, they will erupt in flames of such heat from the hilt up, it would take someone with at least katon mastery stage four to hold them. This technique causes third degree burns instantly, scalding the hands so badly, hand seals are unbearable to perform.

Kaze Arashi(Wind Tempest)Sannin/Kage Rank:
Because the wind style involves such few hand seals, this technique is a surprise. By holding out a hand and performing a twisting motion, Luo can not only summon all blades in a cyclone of wind, but ride them as well like this (43 seconds in with the hand gesture, and then right after that with the blade riding). The blade ride lasts for three posts, or can be ended by ramming directly into the opponent. A truly tempestuous technique.

Yaiba Mizu Yuukai Arashi(Blade and Water Fusion tempest) Jounin Rank:
This is the sole purpose for the shape of each blade, as well as the only manifestation of the water element. Forming six seals, each blade with similarities of Yaiba Terekineshisu(Blade Telekinesis), is called back to Luo, all quickly locking together using the grooves of the key shapes of each blade, forming a shield around Luo. Then as a seventh seal is formed within the dome by Luo, each blades glows blue and collects water in a quick torrent around them, forming a shield of water around them so pressurized, it is as strong as steel. The shields strength is capable of deflecting all chuunin ranked jutsu, and all katon. Raiton of jounin rank is useless since the metal and water cause the electricity to simply disperse around the structure and discharge completely. As for raiton of Kage rank, it is indeed capable of breaching the structure, although no more. If a raiton of kage rank is used as well, 25 of the blades will be instantly summoned back to the scroll.

Perfect Chakra Edge, Jounin Rank: Being a master of the mist sword style, Luo has at last perfected the chakra edge technique. This chakra edge is perfected to the point that the chakra changes the chemical structure of the blades. By forming one hand seal, all the blades burst for a moment with Luo's chakra, until it recedes to the normal size of each and every blade. These blades are now literally imbued with Luo's chakra melded onto the metal, preventing any sort of arching from raiton attacks, and even prevents from being affected by any sort of magnetism for ten posts. When these blades are swung, chakra arcs in length comparable to a bus (think wind scar) erupt forth, capable of tearing through jutsu of chuunin rank and below. This chakra is refined and controlled to such a point, that it is capable of slicing through diamond with little to no effort.

Bukijutsu Sand Style

Kaneude((Metal Arm))

Stage One: No Rank Requirement

When they first attain their Tonfa, the user is able to execute simple swings and punches, yet nothing truly fancy yet. They are able to use their chakra, yet not with the Tonfa, due to lack of practice. They need to get more of a feel for the weapon before they are able to do that.

Using chakra, the user is able to re-enforce their punch with chakra, to make it stronger. Though, the range of increasing of the attack is minimal. It can crack boards of wood, but nothing more. The range of increase it around 5% of the shinobi's strength.

Spinning Winds
Rank C
Again using chakra, the user will spin the tonfa around to make the longer end face forward. The user then spins on one foot, using the increase in strength, as well as the momentum from the spin, to cause a high strength hit from the end. Anyone hit by this will get a pretty bad bruise, and/or a cracked bone, but not a break. They will be pushed back about a foot, and anyone blocking it with a weapon will feel like they got hit by a baseball bat.

Stage Two: Genin

As the user becomes more accustomed to the Tonfa, they gain a much more versatile skill of being able to spin the tonfa in their hand, causing slight winds to build up. To gain this stage, the user must first train with their tonfa for a period of time[around fifteen posts only using the tonfa]

Stage Two Techniques

Pushing Winds
Rank D
Using chakra to build up in the user's hand, their strength increases by roughly 10%. When swung, the power from the swing creates slight winds, used to uproot dust and to slightly move a weapon off course(only a kinai or shuriken, able to be moved three inches at most)

Boomerang Blade
Rank C
Using their ability to spin their tonfa, the user will spin the weapon quickly in their hands, using chakra to help with the spin. They then throw it, leaving a small amount of chakra attached to the tonfa. Using the ability to manipulate the chakra, after it hits, or misses and opponent, the tonfa will arc and come back to the user, like a boomerang

Stage Three: Chunin

By this point in time, the user is able to wrap their chakra around the Tonfa, and can easily move with it. The Tonfa is starting to feel a part of their arm, making it much easier to use, as well as maneuver while using it. The user, to attain this stage, must again train with the Tonfa, this time doing the training against a boulder, until it cracks. [Twenty posts of training with the Tonfa and then hitting a rock until it cracks]

Stage Three Techniques

Crushing Force
Rank C
By focusing a large amount of chakra around or into the Tonfa, the user can now punch right through wood like paper, and crack boulders, after training. The strength increase is now around one fifth the user's current strength. The move can be used like Spinning winds, this time able to push back kunai and shuriken easily, now able to deflect ninjutsu of Rank D or lower.

Bladed Arm
Rank B
Using the chakra wrapped around the Tonfa, the user focuses it into an appendage to the side, or the front of the Tonfa. It can be either blunt, or sharp, and acts like whatever the object is, either crushing or slicing what it hits. The size of the appendage, depends on the user's chakra manipulation ability, as well as overall chakra level.

Throwing Crush
Rank C
Using the same technique as Crushing Force, the user will wrap chakra around their arm, and then throw the Tonfa. The force that it is thrown at propels it forward, slamming against a person or object. If it hits a person and it is not blocked, it breaks bones. If it hits an object that is not made of metal, it breaks. Sine the move can crack boulders, it's only natural that it can break bones.

Stage Four: Jonin

By this stage, the user can now break rocks, and shatter bones. The Tonfa is an extension of the person's arm now, and can be used like the user's arm. Now the user can use their own element with the Tonfa, greatly increasing it's power and range

Wind Barrage: Burst
Rank B
Using the user's wind chakra, the user can use their chakra to increase their speed, striking multiple blows at once and in a short period of time. This allows a better overall effect. The user can also use their chakra to allow a better effect of Bladed Arm, making their chakra to look like an actual blade.

Water's Rage: Storm
Rank B
Using Water from a nearby stream, or any other water source(even the water from the air), the water user will then punch forward, like Crushing Force, and the water will then continue forward, blasting right into whatever is in front of it. Since there is the same principal as Crushing Force, with the high increase in strength, whatever it hits will most likely be crushed, or pushed far back.

Lightning's Palm: Current
Rank B
Using a current of electricity, the Raiton user will channel the current around or through the Tonfa, depending on what it is made of. When they punch, it will send a strong jolt of electricity through the object, or person. If the user also has the Fuuton element, they can use both Burst and Current, hitting many places at once and still causing a large shock.

Rock Cover: Hard as Steel
Rank B
Using the Doton element, the user will wrap Earth around the Tonfa, making it sharp or blunt at the end. The user will then have the ability to manipulate Earth through the Tonfa, combining it with other ninjutsu to make it a powerful attack.

Fire Storm: Searing Strike
Rank B
Wrapping the Tonfa in fire, the user can either shoot a fireball, or fireballs, from the tonfa, as well as swing the Tonfa and having a fire wave to emanate out from it.

Master: Blast
Rank A
Using a large amount of chakra in or around the Tonfa, as well as in the arm using the Tonfa, the user can launch the Tonfa forward, the longer end facing forward, especially while thrown. The force that it hits something...is astounding. For instance, if thrown at a tree, it completely goes through the tree, but stops as the handle hits the tree. This shows that the longer end went cleanly through the tree, not breaking the tree as a whole. By this stage, the user is almost a master of the Tonfa, as well as rapidly progressing in chakra control. If it hits a person, it does the same thing as if it would hit a tree. It has the ability to crush through rocks, which says something. When they are able to do this, they are ready to become a master.

Stage 5: Sanin

By this stage, the user is almost a master of the Tonfa, using it as more than a part of their arm, but as a part of themselves. They never have the Tonfa away from them, and can use it as if it were light as a feather. For this to happen, the user must be able to use Blast, to move on.

Blunt: Blade
Rank S
Molding their chakra around the tonfa, the user can either make the end of the tonfa sharp, or blunt. Whichever is used, will determine what it can do. If the end is blunt, it will have the same effect as Blast, but the chara will act as an elongated end, doing it at a much larger reach. the chakra will attack not only the outer body, but if the jutsu is used by a ninja with very good chakra control, or a medical ninja, can attack the inside as well. If the end is like a blade, the technique will be able to cut through weak metal. This means senbon, or light blades. The chakra in this attack is much more difficult to use, which is why most go for Blunt, rather than Blade. But, if utilized correctly, the jutsu is the strongest of the style. This attack, if used by a medical nin or a nin with good chakra control, can make precise cuts into shinobi.

Akira Style

"Elegant, Fast, Deceptive"

Style Description: The Akira Style is elegant, made for faster fighters than it is for strength. Based upon dance like combos that increase speed while using blade like fans, the Akira style is light and requires a deep focus to fully master. Balanced steps and sharp reflexes are a must.

Style Basis: Geisha Performance ((This is the basis for the Akira's, but it is not used fully))

Training Methods: The user trains by practicing each levels Akira in succession.(5 posts each level of positions. The moves or "Positions" are according to number, and you do not have to train all of the Akiras each level.) They also train their balance using water walking, and walking along thin objects such as rails. (5 Posts) Speed training is gained by the use of weights and constant movement. (5 posts)

Movement: Users of this style are abnormally well balanced, and rarely can be knocked down. Their movement is light, but quick flowing.

Notes: Akira positions are numbered by Stage. Some stages take a variety of positions from the first, second, and third. Therefore, reference back if needed. Detailed paragraphs, provided they are equivalent to a short post, are acceptable for training. But be ready to prove if asked

Stage One: Akira (Speed): No Rank Requirement

At this point, ths user is only just begining to grasp the consept of grace. They are often clumsy in performing the First Akira and often will slice their hands or fingers when completing the moves with the fans. They generally have only one fan at this point. Their movements are only slightly faster than normal. (10 total detailed posts training speed, meditation and the First Akira)
Regular Techniques: The First Akira
1. The user stands with feet together hands by side.
2. The hands come up at the elbows, then forward until strait, the fan(s) are closed. The users feet adjusts forward with the left foot.
3. The fan(s) are spread open, the user performs a fast backhand slice across the body with the right hand, pivoting to face side ways.
4. Weight is shifted to the left leg, user completes a low sweep kick.
5. Weight is centered as the user rises, bring the feet back together, the fans remain open, arms cross one slightly lower along torso facing oppisite directions.
Close. Fans are closed and hands return to side.

Special Techniques: Grace- (constant after first use) The user cannot be knocked down by C and D rank techniques.

Flickering Image D ranked
When moving quickly, the user leaves a flicker behind that serves to distract an opponent.

Stage Two:The Second Akira (Balance): Genin

The user has now gained a sense of the ground and is harder to knock down with taijutsu techniques, though they are still clumsy in akward positions. The fans are utalized mainly for slicing, but must be held in good grip. (Train Balance 5 additional, All Training Techniques)

Regular Techniques: The Second Akira
Open. Begins with the First Akira, is a continuation.
6. Hands remain at torso, the balance is shifted between both legs with knees bent.
7. The hands raise strait, wrists turn blades parrellel to side of the feet. (Up and down, users will often fall here)
8. The back is arched as they slowly bend backward, the back foot sliding forward to meet the other to compesate with knees bending until they touch the ground with both hands. The blades are not supporting the position, but rather are closed and rest flat against the ground. The legs are moved up as the forearms rest along the ground. The torso is then suspended in the air and held. This is the most difficult move of the second Akira.
Close. The feet are allowed to fall to the ground and the user stands in Position 1.

Special Techniques:
Enhanced- D rank
The user channels their chakra through their feet to perform a quicker strike or dodge. Can only be utalized 1:3 posts.

Chakra Slash- D rank
The user channels their chakra through their hands into the fan before striking out to send a slash of chakra towards their opponent. Has a max range of 10 m.

Elemental burst- D rank
The user channels their elemental chakra into the fan to send a burst of wind out of the fan at their opponent, lengthening the range of their cutting ability.

Wall Shadow- D rank
The user pushs chakra into thier feet to stand on a wall. Drawing teh fans down before them, they seem to vanish into midair, using a genjutsu.

Stage Three: The Third Akira (Elegance): Chunin

Having gained the strength to hold even strange positions, the user now begins to work on grace within the positions with their fans. They learn to moves effortlessly, while retaining their quick movements. They are faster than most genjutsu users. (All Training Methods, plus 4 posts Training Balance)

Regular Techniques: The Third Akira
Open. Akira (Grounded) and Akira (Balance)
9. From position 8, the user pushes up onto their hands, extending the legs strait. They then remove their right hand, extending their left leg out to compesate. The Each move is elegant and the fan is opened then closed as the hand returns to the ground.
10. From Position 9, the user uses their arms to ease down to their forarms, and then slowly back to their feet, unarching the direction they came. This will likely take several tries to master in elegance as it is slow.
11. The left fan are snapped open as the arm moves in a half down position, the right hand remains in place with the fan opened, pointing at the left shoulder. Using an circle like motion, the left hand is brought up so that the fan points to the right after a sweeping arc. The hands are then reversed as the knees bend slightly and the back remains strait.
Close. The hands return to the sides.

Special Techniques:
Elegance- C rank
The user expands a widtch of chakra around them, allowing them to "sense" when they are to be hit with taijutsu and allows them to react. Because of their reflexes, it merely appears that they move gracefully out of the way without expending extra energy. They cannot be knocked down.

Twisting Deception- C ranked
When attacked the user sidesteps the opponent's attack, slashing at them with the blades quickly using a burst of wind to push them aside while inflicting cuts along their torso.

Projected WallFlower- C+ ranked
The user catches the eye of their opponent. The user seems to flicker from their place, while in reality they are merely creating a genjutsu. It takes three posts for the genjutsu to fully form. In the genjutsu world it appears that the user is merely using their incredible speed. At the end of the formation though, the opponent is rendered incapable to move by a large vine made of chakra.

Stage Four: The Fourth Akira (Coordination): Chunin

Having learned elegance, speed, and balance the user now learns to use the fans as an extension of their hands. They use hand eye coordination to attack without having the bladed weapons firmly held in their hands, and learn to catch them without cutting themselves with the poisoned edges. The user also learns how to spin the blades along their hands. By now, they are much faster than ninjutsu and genjutsu shinobi at their rank. ((All Training Methods Plus 3 posts learning to catch the fans in various Positions and 4 posts Meditation))

Regular Techniques: The Fourth Akira
Open. Akira (Grounded), Akira (Balance), and Akira (Elegance)
12. The user moves from position 11 and begins to spin the fan along one of their fingers, raising the right hand as they slowly lower the spinning blade and then catch to be in a mirror image of the former.
13. Bringing the hands down, the user flip first one, then the other completely before catching and plaching them together. The fans make a compete turn in a short amount of air space, and they are caught by the "hilt".
14. The user extends the arms and brings the fans together by turning the wrists, so that they appear as only one. They then move them inline with their shoulders before releasing the one on top. Flipping it up using the other blade, they user catches it on the other side of their body exicuting a turn.
Close. Fans are snapped shut, hand and feet return to position 1.

Special Techniques:
Return: D-ranked.
The user attatches chakra to their fan blades and after throwing them at enemies or having them knocked from the and, they can use their chakra to pull the fans back to their hands quickly. Maxium range is 10 m.

Carosel of Death: C-ranked
The user spins both of their fan blades in one hand, creating a razor like feature as they channel chakra into the edges of the blades. This allows the fans to cut through most material, save for metal and crystal.

Kiss of Death B-Ranked
The user channels their chakra into seals at the edges of their fans to release an acidic toxin. If the opponent is hit by this, the acid begins to eat away at their body. If not clensed in 4 posts, the opponenet will be rendered unconcious. If not healed in 2 posts from there, the opponent dies.

Burst Strike: C-ranked
The user twists their hand, creating a razor like blast of wind to gather in their blades which can cut through most organic material, save metal and crystal.

Stage Five- The Fifth Akira (Focus):Jonin

Having learned elegance, speed, balance, and coordination the user now learns the most important aspect of the Akira style: Focus. By dayly meditation and controll over the powers they have gained, they add power to attacks that previously seemed harmless and now become deadly. The moves are slow in this akira because each movement must be exact. It also trains patience. (Normal Training, plus 6 posts meditation)

Regular Techniques: The Fifth Akira
Open. Previos Four Akiras
15. Utalizing the fans in a spinning motion in both hands, the user shifts their arms down so that one of the blades appear to touch the floor, but do not make marks. The other hand extends up in a perfect line to the other. Turning in a half circle, the user slowly bends one knee while keeping the other leg strait.
16. Shifting to the other leg, they repeat. The motion carries the user forward slightly. Crossinng their arms they then perform two fast cuts outwards that stop barely short of a wall and make no marks.
17. With a twist step, the user then flips the fan back behind them, and then turns to catch it by the bladed sides flat edge. This move takes the most practice as the experienced users will cut their fingers slightly.
Close. Position 1.
Special Techniques:
Concintration: C-ranked
All attacks raise one rank in power, but not in Chakra cost.

Peace: B-ranked
The user can recover enough chakra for two B ranked, or four C ranked attacks. But they must remain immobile for two posts.

Stage Six- The Final Akira (Strength): Sanin

Power, when placed in the right hands can become a deadly ally. The user now increases their over all power by combining the previous Akiras training and now adding each aspect together. By altering their mindset to become the person of grace, power, and speed, they gain the mastery of the style. They are second only to advanced taijutsu users in speed. ((Normal Training, 3 posts learning the acrobatics required))

Regular Techniques: The Sixth Akira
Open. Previous Five Akiras
18. From catching the blade with their fingers, the user floods their chakra through it until the marks on the fans glow. Turning it to normal side without cutting their fingers in one motion, they strike the ground with one, and the other strikes the air as they complete a half turn.. The blade scores deep into the ground when done correctly forming an arc and sticking deep.

19. Using the embedded blade for leverage, the user kicks their feet up over their head and then, while in mid air, pulls the blade out. Finishing the flip, they slam both fans in a down ward arc, but donot let the baldes touch the floor while releasing a burst of wind chakra through them. One leg is extended to maintain balance.

20. The Akira ends as the arms are drawn slowly in and the user rises, pulling the extended leg back in as the fans are closed slowly to return to the sides.
Special Techniques:

True Stregnth- the user perfoms Position 19 while releasing a burst of their elemental chakra, which can send huge gusts of slicing wind at the opponent. It can also be used to break the ground and upset their footing or cleave through a person. It does break guards, but cannot be used consecuatively.

Tranquillity- B ranked.
The body of the user heals while they remain still and it takes less recovery time for them to rebound from sideeffects. However, while in motion, they gain speed, and appear as though a flicker

Bukijutsu Cloud Style

Large Sword Style- Wicked Strength

Strong, Slicing, Steel

----------

Briefing~
You have a large heavy sword, along the way to becoming a master of this style. To gain up a level, you must first speak with the head master of the style. Then once he has approved it, 30 posts of heaving weight lifting, each time getting more and more and more, heaver. Different stages, have different ways of getting there.

Note:
No matter what stage you are, the blade is a blade. Its gonna be sharp.

----------

Stages~

Stage 1~ No Rank Requirement
At stage one, you are a new wielder of the blade, meaning it is quite heavy for you. The sword is always strapped to your back almost pulling you down. But you are able to swing the sword with some strength. When you swing the sword, it will hit the ground casing it to crack a little at least 6 inch radius.
Swinging is rather slow, but still powerful.
Powers-
Nothing much right now, Your a novice. You have the strength to wield the blade but only thanks to the training you got before you even got to this stage. Somebody blocking the sword, doesn't have any affect.
Training.-
To get to this stage, you have to first lift heavy weights, at least half your body weight. For the sword weights as much as you if not more. The lifting the weights, must go on for 30 posts. You may use free hand weights, bench press. others if you like.

----------

Stage 2~ Genin
At stage two you have gotten stronger with the sword, you no longer fumble when you swing it. When it connects with the floor. the strength of the swing is much stronger now. Only because of the training that was given to you. The strength of the swing is doubled now, it is able to create a crater on the floor with a radius of 2 ft.
Swing is a bit faster, but still bulky and can't be moved fast.
Powers~
You are stronger thanks to the training you have done in this stage. When somebody goes up against the sword blocking it, they get pushed back a little. The strength of the sword swing is quite powerful.
Training~
This training involves going underneath a waterfall, with weights. You have to do push ups, sit ups, shadow punching in place. The water full gives a lot of force and forms tight muscles and gives for a great tone structure. Lifting weights gives you more strength to handle their swords. (30 posts)

----------

Stage 3~ Genin
At stage three power is a lot stronger, Swings are faster as much as they are strong. The swing when it hits the ground is a strong instead of a 2 ft radius, the swing is now around 4ft radius, causing vibrations through the ground. Almost making the earth shake, not really, but gives the image of that. The way you swing is faster now, because of the training. Being handle to handle the sword more. (Highest level you can get as a genin)
Powers~
At this stage, no powers are given. But thanks to the training you are much stronger now, When somebody tries to block your sword swing. They will be pushed back at least 3 feet, if not crushed underneath the blow.
Training~
In this training method, you double the weight you did before, its your body mass now if not more. This can be done with free weights, bench press. Weights going onto your arms as he practice swinging. Soon a swing becomes as easy as breathing. (30 posts)

----------

Stage 4~ Chunin
At stage Four, your power with strength is quite powerful, at a swing of a sword you can cut down a tree with one strong blow. It cuts it like a knife throw jello If the sword would hit the ground, it would cause the blade to create a crater at least 8 ft radius, causing once again vibrations, almost like an earth quake. The blade has a firmer grip too, giving for handling better, making using the sword faster and able to block. (Chunnin)
Powers~
The new handle gives some powers finally to the sword, as charka gets put into the handle it allows for the kanji to glow. Then able to create a lightning jutsu. The lightning justu is C-ranked, As you swing your blade, it creates static that can send out a lightning bolt from the sword. Being underneath the sword when being throw down against another ninja blocking would be sent back 6 ft.
Training~
Nothing much in this one, just swing harder and faster then before. Weights up to to more then how much you way. Swings will be strong, try cutting down trees and trying to hit down against something strong if not just swinging. (30 posts)

----------

Stage 5~ Jonin
At stage Five, your power with strength is quite strong, at a swing of a sword you can cut down a tree with one strong blow again. It cuts it like a knife throw jello If the sword would hit the ground, it would cause the blade to create a crater at least 12 ft radius, causing once again vibrations, almost like an earth quake. (Jounin, Unless master)
Powers~
The swing is stronger once again, the powers are even newer. When you strike down your sword against somebody that is blocking, they get pushed back for a while, if not getting crashed against a tree, 9 ft. The last jutsu is allowed in this stage too but now you have another one. When you stab the ground when your charka is being used into it. Lightning moves through the ground for the 12 ft to 16 ft radius around you.
Training~
Training is almost done, you have this training and one more training until your master. To get to this level you must put on one more weights. Even more then that last time, this time, you got the weight of your sword you are using. (30 posts)

----------

Stage 6, Final Master Stage~ Sanin
This is the last and final stage of being a master, after this last training you have become one of the masters. When you swing down your sword your smash creates a large crater around you for 20 ft. The ground shakes and almost cuts the earth in half, (around you) You can swing at full speed now thanks to the training you have done. You can move the sword almost as if it was a normal sword. (Highest level you can get to.)
Powers~
You are still allowed to do the jutsu from behind, but now you have one last one. This one is a B ranked move. You swing your sword around and throw the tip of the blade to the air. A lightning bolt shoots out into the sky and then creates a storm cloud that sends down 9 lightning bolts towards your target.
Training~
This is the final training, no more weights, just stand underneath a waterfall swinging your sword around in quick slashes. As you do this remember you need to clean your sword after you are done so it doesn't rust out. (!5 normal posts, then 15 more in storm for the jutsu.)

----------

~Jutsu
Note: Justu used in a lower stage can still be used in an upper stage.

Stage Four~
Lightning blot -D-ranked.
As you swing your blade, it creates static that can send out a lightning bolt from the sword. The lightning is aimed at your opponent, Do not use unless you are trying to kill your target.

Stage Five~
Lightning Strike-C-ranked
When you stab the ground when your charka is being used into it. Lightning moves through the ground for the 12 ft to 16 ft radius around you.

Stage Six
Lightning Cloud -B-ranked
You swing your sword around and throw the tip of the blade to the air. A lightning bolt shoots out into the sky and then creates a storm cloud that sends down 9 lightning bolts towards your target.

Bukijutsu Earth/Rock Style

The Erai Kame Gaikaku

Sturdy, Encased, Heavy

Style Type: Weaponry (Heavy) and Hand-to-hand
Weapon Type(s): Halberd or Poleaxe
Other Equipment: Heavy Armor

Information:
Legions of warriors that used this style were sent into battle, conquering everyone in their path. The combatants were known for their heavy armor and long-handled weaponry, which resulted in them destroying half of the the great shinobi nations. Virtually nothing could defeat these masters of the Erai Kame Gaikaku because of their heavy armor and powerful, long-reaching weaponry... Providing the perfect defense.

Training Method(s):
The method is focused mainly on the physical strength of the user, so lifting weights and overall physical exercise with a good diet are essential for increasing stages. You must have atleast 15 posts in training in order to master the stages.

Stage One: No Rank Requirement
The user's strength reading isn't that high, as in the E-D range. Users of The Erai Kame Gaikaku at this stage can only wear light armor such as a thin leather vests and the like.

Name: Blunt Strike
Rank: D
Range: Melee
Description: The user lunges forward, swinging one arm to try and hit the opponent with their forearm. Blunt Strike works better as the user gains better, more hard armor.

Name: Upwards Slice
Rank: C
Range: Melee (Weapon)
Description: The user minister's an upwards strike with their halberd or poleaxe. Slice marks will usually end up on the chin, groin, and torso in mildly lethal lacerations.

Stage Two: Genin
The learner of this style is starting to get the hang of things concerning heavy armor. At this point, they have a thin, iron plate that covers the left breast and a gauntlet covering everything from their fingers to the mid-forearm on the dominant hand. The armor may be pierced by kunai that are stabbed into the armor, but not ones that are thrown. The armor also protects from lower-level taijutsu attacks as a whole as well as adding to the power of the 'Blunt Strike.'

Name: Counter and Kick
Rank: C
Range: Counter
Description: As a person is charging the user of this jutsu with a knife, kunai, sword, or any other bladed weapon, the user swings the halberd or poleaxe. This action swats the blade away, leaving the opponent open for an attack. By using the momentum of the wing, the user swings around to kick the target in the torso. This technique gets stronger as they get heavier armor on their feet.

Name: Downwards Strike
Rank: C
Range: Melee (Weapon)
Description: The user raises their halberd or poleaxe, and brings it down on the victim's head in a death-blow like fashion. Shinobi and Kunoichi administering this technique may jump to add more power, focus chakra into the blade, or both at the same time. This technique is easily countered for the concept of countering, but it requires much physical strength to fully counter it. If the victim is not physically strong, and must use chakra, they will use much chakra.

Stage Three: Genin
Ninja at this level of learning this style are getting more adept to their heavy armor. The armor slightly lowers the user's speed, and is now usually kept withing a large scroll on their back's mid-section. They now have shoulder plates and a full breast plate, rendering most chuunin-level taijutsu attacks useless. Studs are sometimes put within the shoulders to strengthen some types of attacks.

Name: Shoulder Charge
Rank: B
Range: Melee
Desciption: The user lowers their shoulder, and rams into the opponent's torso and knocking them down. This taijutsu technique is commonly used right before the 'Downwards Strike' technique to ensure an accurate deathblow. Studs are sometimes placed on the shoulder plates to strengthen the hit.

Name: Bladed Punch
Rank: B (Also requires A-rank strength)
Range: Melee (Weapon)
Description: By grabbing the handle of the weapon closely to the bladed segment, the user creates a make-shift bladed knuckle that can cut and pierce the opponent. Also, the handle can hit the target too.

Stage Four: Chunin
Along with the armor already gained, the ser of this style also gains iron boots that are set knee-high. The armor slows the user down even more, and is even more encouraged to put the armor in a scroll until needed. The breast plate and gaunlets conceal the arms and entire torso, and is much thicker. The vulnrable the areas are the thighs.

Name: Hal-quake
Rank: A (Also requires S-rank strength and A-rank chakra control)
Range: 20 meters, every direction
Description: The user raises their halberd or poleaxe high above their head, focusing a large amount of chakra into the blade. Then by swinging the blade into the ground, the chakra transfers into ground and creates an earth-quake. The quake can make enemies in range stumble and fall, creating an opening for an attack. If someone were to get in the way of the weapon, they would be cleaved completely in half.

Name: Bone Splitter
Rank: A (Also requires S-rank strength)
Range: Melee (Weapon)
Description: The user attacks with a full out assault with their weapon. It's known for splitting bones and breaking even the most strong of barriers. This is the Kaguya's demise.

Stage Five: Jonin
The user is fully encased in an inch-thick, steel armor. Most taijutsu attacks are repelled by the armor, which fully covers the person save for the face. Due to the heaviness of the armor, the armor leaves the person at 20% speed. When the armor is not in use, most ninja keep the armor within a scroll due to it's weight and bulkiness.

Name: Flying Blades
Rank: A (Also requires S-rank chakra control and no armor on)
Range: Supplementary
Description: After jumping up into the air, the user spins the halberd above their head at highspeeds by focusing chakra into their forearms, hands, and their weapon. This creates a mild 'lift' effect and allows the user to fly for a short time. (Two Posts)

Name: Halberd Rotation
Rank: S (Also requires S-rank chakra control and S-rank strength)
Range: 30 meters, all directions
Description: The user focuses a large amount of chakra into the bladed part of the halberd or poleaxe. By swinging the halberd or poleaxe in a full 360 degree rotation, it releases a large blast of pure chakra. It is very useful for counter attacks and getting many enemies out at one time.

Stage Six: Sanin
Stage Six is the final stage of the Erai Kame Gaikaku taijutsu style. Spikes have been added to the shoulder plates of the wearer. The armor must now be put into a scroll for storage, as when wearing it, the users mobility speed is only 15%. A more positive outlook on the stage is that the user has become so adept at weilding halberds is that they can now weild two at the same time. The halberds are usually identical, as different designs interfere with combat.

Name: Halberd Gun
Rank: S (Also requires S-rank Chakra control)
Range: 60meters
Description: The user aims the top end of the halbered at the target, focusing a large amount of chakra into the tip. Then by fully releasing it from the halberd, will shoot out a bullet of chakra capable of peircing flesh.

Bukijutsu Rain Style

Stolen Salvation: Style of the Drawing Sword [Tsukyuusei-ryu Battoujutsu]

Tsukyuusei-ryu Battoujutsu is a very beautiful sword style practiced by the sword wielders of the world but most commonly in Rain. This style itself was originally supposed to be a derivative of the Iaido style but when all was said and done it ended up being classified as a Battoujutsu.

The main purpose of the style is to strike and damage in the smallest possible time frame. In order to accomplish this, practitioners will attack while drawing their sword. The style is considered an arrogant style because after the sword is swung, whether or not it hits, the practitioner will wipe the blade and replace it in its sheathe as if they were done using it. This is part of the Iaido teachings incorporated into the style. The practice of wiping the blade after each cut and then replacing it into its sheathe keeps the blade in tip-top shape.

The style also utilizes a special blade design created by the originator of the style, which was a woman known simply as Setsuka. The blade design was named after the woman, Setsuka which means 'Snow Flower.' The blade design is that of a long and thin sword with a shallow curve. The blade is made of a very light titanium alloy yet despite its weight it is very powerful because of the extremely sharp edge that can be made and kept. The blade is also hidden within a parasol so as to trick those who dare to cross blades with the practitioners of this style.

Setsuka
The setsuka is a weapon meant for the Tsukyuusei-ryu Battoujutsu fighting style. It is an old fashioned parasol made of bamboo and rice paper. The shaft of the parasol sheathes a long and thin blade with a shallow curve to it. The blade is actually built like a katana but is made of a lighter material that is thinner, sharper, and a little longer than a traditional katana

Chihana
A more advanced form of the Setsuka weapon. Though based on the same principals the Chihana is usually longer then the Setsuka. It is also a thicker and sturdier blade for the more powerful attacks that are caused by a much more skilled practitioner. It is about the size of an odachi.

Stage 1
Academy

Life of Iai [Nukitsuke]

The Tsukyuusei-ryu Battoujutsu is a style like no other. The practitioners learn the concept of killing in the smallest timeframe as humanly possible. To accomplish this they learn to attack whilst they are drawing their blades and to use the entire umbrella in a fight, like using the shade as a distraction and shield. They are also taught that the quickest way to kill someone is to get them in as close as possible; in order to do that in a battle they must leave an opening that the enemy will most likely exploit and once they do they die. This means training their bodies to not only be quick but to be able to take a lot of pain. Because of the low level of the practitioners at this stage are often slower and much less fluid than higher-ups and the majority are not yet brave enough to take a hit.

Special Techniques

The Art of the Drawing Sword [Battoujutsu]

Passive ability in which the user strikes an enemy whilst they remove their blade from sheathes. In doing this, the user adds ½ of his or her agility to the strikes that occur in this fashion.

Umbrella Shield [Tate no Kasa]

By focusing chakra into the rice paper shade of the Setsuka/Chihana the user can make a shield that is much more resistant to attacks than a normal umbrella shade.

Stage 2
Genin

This World of Suffering [Kataku]

The second stage for most styles show progression towards being able to kill, or at the very least wound, at a higher level than they were able to in the previous ones, but the second level or the Tsukyuusei-ryu Battoujutsu does not. Instead the second stage focuses more on turning the practitioners view into the big picture. This allows the practitioner to refrain from getting arrogant over little victories, such as scoring a hit, and pushes them to look for a kill. One of the ways they are trained in this is to leave certain spots on their body open for attack so that their opponent will get caught up in the small victories and forget to look at the big picture, which will end up killing them. The training during this stage is intense in the fact that it is meant to make the practitioner much more resilient to pain so it often includes being severely beaten.

Special Techniques

One for the Win [Ichi Shouri]

During a fight the user will leave a certain part of their body open for the opponent to exploit it, which brings them in closer for the kill. This part of the body is reinforced with chakra and when hit the chakra will reduce the pain that the user would normally receive.

As the Edge of thy Blade [Mamaha]

By focusing a large amount of chakra into either their blade or the umbrella the user can create an extended point or edge made completely out of chakra but just as effective as steel.

Stage 3
Chunin

The Snow Flower Doth Bloom Young [Setsuka Nasu Sakidasu]

One of the most feared stages in the Tsukyuusei-ryu Battoujutsu style. This stage gets its name from the sudden burst of skill. To balance out the previous stage in which they simple prepared their bodies the practitioner now trains the body to move at higher speeds solely for the purpose of more effective killing strikes. Because of their lack of training with their cutting skill in the previous stage the practitioner must train extremely hard to get to this level. Once they are at it though their skill level far surpasses that of several of the sword styles in the other shinobi villages. This is also the stage where a new sword, much like the Setsuka, is introduced to the practitioner: the Chihana. It is not required that it is used but it is highly recommended.

Special Techniques

Glides Across thy Opponent [Kassou Juudan Hantaisha]

For a more effective cut the user must usually put much more strength into an attack and this can be a problem for swordsmen who focus more on other attributes. To remedy this problem the user can funnel chakra into their sword. This chakra surrounds the blade as an aura with the majority of the chakra focused on the edge of the blade. This aura is made to be like a wedge and when it is pushed to slice skin it will expand the wound and forcing it to cut deeper much more than usual.

Stage 4
Jounin

The Snow Flower Doth Wilt [Setsuka Nasu Shinabiru]

After focusing on their pain tolerance then going to work specifically on their speed and skill of strikes, the practitioner returns to training in a happy medium between the two. With their ability, and willingness, to open up any specific spot on their body to an attack, a ploy to get the enemy to within about arm's length, the practitioner now tries to open up what would normally be considered dangerous to do so such as the neck or parts of the torso instead of just the extremities. At this stage the practitioner also learns how to use the Chihana, an odachi sized weapon, in that close of a range. Usually they learn how to use parts of the blade to attack the opponent instead of the entire length of it.

Special Techniques

The Snow Grows Red [Yuki Hayasu Akaaka]

A highly effective cutting technique. The user laces chakra through their blade, which counters the effects of blood platelets and healing jutsu. Doing this gives the opponent an open wound that will not be healed. Not only does this effectively weaken the opponent but also it makes it much easier to trail them. (Cannot be healed by any medical jutsu that is Jounin level or lower. Advanced Jounin level and higher techniques can heal it, but have a slower healing effect.)

Stage 5
Saanin

As Lifeless as Cold Ashes [Shikai]

Able to take what would normally be considered a mortal wound and keep on going at extreme speeds the practitioner has become nothing short of an angel of death. They have gained the title of Shikai, which refers to their ability to completely ignore pain because they feel no pain they are as lifeless as cold ashes. At this final stage the practitioner rounds off all of their training thus far into one perfect sword style that can bring down even the mightiest of foes.

Special Techniques

- Seppuku [Seppuku]
The ultimate move with regards to the Tsukyuusei-ryu Battoujutsu. The user brings the opponent into less than an arm's length away. The user then takes their main weapon and pierces both the opponent's body and their own body. The attack, though considered reckless, has the potential to be a highly effective technique. The name is really a misnomer since it is used a bit differently. The user takes their blade and flips it upside down, cutting edge up, the shoves it through their abdomen, from their back, up into the chest cavity of their enemy. This is an especially sneaky attack to use because most people with not expect the user to possibly kill themselves just to kill their enemy.

Kenjutsu Leaf Style

NunChaku~Chains of Fury(Nunchucks)

~Short History~
The nunchaku (Nunchucks) is a traditional weapon of the Kobudo weapons set and consists of two sticks connected at their ends with a short chain or rope. A sansetsukon is a similar weapon with three sticks attached on chains instead of two. The movements are quick, and strong. They are meant for close combat.

~NunChaku Levels~
~Note, Only begin off with one Nunchaku~

Level One. The New student. No rank requirement
At stage one, the student is getting use to the new weapon in their hands. They are learning to gain speed with it, able to move it up and around them with a little trouble. They are getting use to how fast it moves, hits around the body will happen. They do not have any special power to them yet. They are still learning what they can do with the nunchakus.
Powers~ Nothing yet, they are getting use to what the nunchakus can really do. They are allowed to put in charka, only a little though. Both the nunchakus and them are getting use to each other. They will have some later

Level Two. The NunChakur. Genin
At this stage the ninja is able to move the nunchaku faster around him, fast enough now to block up to one or four kunai coming his way. The nunchaku now through experience and charka put into it over time has began stronger and willing to work more with the user. They can now move faster, moving from their hands around their bodies. Though they are faster, they are still new to the style. They nunchukas are beginning to feel much faster as kanji symbols begin to form on the woods.
Powers~. At this level since the kanji symbols are beginning to form around the nunchakus. They are moving faster now in swings and in movements. They are beginning to cause fraction in the air, the charka is moving into them too giving them an added spark. The nunchakus are moving fast that they turn on fire. Giving them the ability to burn a person if connected.

Level Three. The NunChaku Apprentice. Chunin
At stage three the movements of the ninja are a lot faster, giving them a lot more movements towards how strong and how fast they can hit their targets. Their nunchakus are a lot stronger once again from their experience and the use of charka in them. They are a lot stronger and will be able withstand a lot more damage without breaking. The Apprentice is now more skilled and able to move their nunchakus faster so that no more punishment will harm them from their it can hurt the user. They are now able to block up to about ten to 15 kunai coming at them. or any other projectile
Power~ The friction is now a lot more from the speed of the user, giving the flames around the nunchaku a stronger flame. Enough to burn the grass by just them being inches away. When Hit with this flame, a person is burned but the burn is a lot severe. Leading a 3rd degree burn. The flames are aloud to now be sent off the nunchaku to about three feet. It can burn a slash into the side of the tree.

Stage Four. Leveled Master. Jonin
At stage four the ninja is now more in tuned with his nunchakus. Him and them are able to understand each other, and kanji symbols grown more on the wood giving it a faster edge and swing but allow for it to take a lot more damage. The movements of the user are smoother and hitting of oneself doesn't happen anymore. Since the movements are quicker and stronger, up to about 20 kunai or projectiles are blocked. Showing how fast the hands and nunchaku
Power~Since the kanji symbols are a formed more onto the wood of the nunchakus. The charka mixed with the experince and frication once again from them it creates a larger flame. This time the flame is able to be sent off as a slash. Only one slash per movement with them, sadly since the numchakus are not the best they require charka to be placed into them for the slash of flames.

Stage Five. The Grand Masters. Sanin
At this stage you have reached the peak of skill with your nunchakus, they have enough power and experience that your allowed to have two. Your one Nunchaku upgrades into two of them. Giving the user the look of a grand master of the style. The power of them is now doubled because of having two of them. They can now both block up to 40 projectile forces.
Power~ Now that their is two nunchakus, the speed is now increased for them. Frication is now maxed out and allowed to have multiplies for flame slashes burst from it. Charka is no longer needed to do those moves. But there is a limit on how much the nunchakus can take. They are only allowed a certain amount of of releases until it burns up into ash. (in a battle is is 20 slashes of flames)
