08.02.05. Suzaku and Reicher have a head on collision. Literally. Ouch.

07.02-23.05. Suzaku gradually meets more of Whisper's friends, and their friends. The pack is now at 10+ members, and it looks like Suzaku and Ronan will be taking the lead until further notice.

07.01.05. Suzaku speaks to Whisper about forming a pack of friends.

06.25.05. Finally beginning the real construction!

Genbu. ----- Tortise is said to be wise. Suzaku loves all of her brothers dearly, but around Genbu she'd always felt the closest. With Genbu she always felt like she belonged. She misses the days they spent discussing all kinds of things and planning their pack together.

Seiryuu. ----- Suzaku quietly and secretly looked up to Seiryuu. She admired him for his strength, but also has come to recognize that there are many things she doesn't yet understand about her brother. She misses him terribly and wishes to speak to him again to work out whatever it was that drove them apart.

Byakko. ----- Byakko was and always will be her baby brother. He hasn't lost his childish ideals even as they've grown over time. Suzaku admires his innocence and caring nature, but recent events have left her confused. She wonders if they'll ever see one another again...

Helaku. ----- Helaku was the first wolf that Suzaku met in the Shaoilin woods, the two survived a "psycho wolf" together just moments after introductions, and had since then become playmates. After learning that Helaku had also lost his family, Suzaku adopted him as her brother so that he wouldn't have to be alone. The two were inseperable for a long while, but haven't seen much of one another since Suzaku briefly reunited with Byakko.

Reicher. ----- This wolf showed up just after Suzaku met Laku, he managed to frighten both pups and bring out a rare side of Suzaku, the aggressive one. After they escaped becoming this wolf's meal she has not since seen or scented him. Thankfully.

Akamu. ----- Akamu was the third wolf that Suzaku encountered. This wolf reminds her strongly of what she remembers of her father. He has a warm presence and a nurturing nature. It's comforting for Suzaku to have someone outside of family even to care so much about her well being. Helaku already adopted him as his father, so it seems that the three do make a makeshift family of sorts. Suza has seen him recently, and thanks to that she seems to be doing better than she had been before.

Seneca. ----- Suzaku ran into this pup in the woods one day. They spoke for a bit, and Seneca seemed to take to Suza as a pup to her mother. Since then the two have been inseperable, and Suzaku has slowly started to treat the little one more and more like she were her own. She is quite protective over Seneca.

Whisper. ----- Whisper is a wolf that Suzaku would very much like to continue getting to know. She feels very warmly towards this one, and already is beginning to consider her as someone that might become a good friend.

Keefe. ------ Currently Suzaku has only shared introductions with Keefe.

Sekani. ----- Sekani is a mute wolf that Suzaku met recently. Despite his inability to talk they had quite an open conversation. Understanding body language is almost second nature for Suzaku, as she expresses herself with it quite a bit. The two seem to be developing into friends, which Suzaku doesn't object to at all.

Ronan. ----- Suzu was told of Ronan by Talia. She was told that he had a level head on his shoulders, and after finally meeting him for herself she'd have to say she agrees. The male also prooves to be kind, fetching dinner for Suzu and Seneca. Besides this, however, Suzu is still learning about him.

Hige. ----- When their previous pack drifted apart, Suzaku and Helaku decided to bring Whisper to warmer lands for her health's sake. They were accepted into Akamu's (Hige's brother) pack and for a short while all was well. Hige was one of the alphas of the land, at the time mate-less as the alpha female had gone missing. He and Suzaku shared a few discussions, but otherwise she saw very little of the banded male. He seemed like a likeable enough leader, however.

The Pups. ----- She did not get to spend much time with them, of the four "brothers and sisters", however, Suzaku got to know Conan and Marissa the best. She does hope that they're still well, and believes that they'll grow into fine young adults someday.

Rio. ----- This wolf reminded her of Hige in some ways. His mannerisms are laid back and radiate an unmistakeable warmth and compassion. He is mated to Naib, both of whom are packmates under her new alpha, Phib.

Phib. ----- The alpha of The Outriders, and a good leader in Suzaku's eyes. When she left Hige's lands it was just to join Phib's not two days later. She agreed to serve under him as a spy, gathering information from the freelands and those that she came across otherwise, to help the Southern-King stay aware of the going ons in the wood. She is not put off by his stoney countenance, but finds it comforting as it reminds her of family now seperated.

Amelie. ----- Suzaku is currently unaware that Ame' is a seer, in fact, she hadn't even met the female before she prooved to already know Suzaku by name. She seems the good hearted sort.

Gareth. ----- This male seems skittish and/or shy, and so far has not said much in the ways of conversation. Suzaku is not quite sure what to make of him yet.

Reserved.

Unaware of the den nearby, or it's occupants, an earthy colored wolf slept in a shallow ditch. The wolf, whose name was Akamu, was a stranger here- a stranger everywhere, since another pack had taken over and disbanded his family and forced everyone from the territory just before winter had begun. As a result of that dissolving of his old pack, the male was thin... but not so thin as to be unhealthy.

Akamu opened his pale blue eyes a crack when the dawn sunlight decided to shine directly into his face, grumbling a bit at the insistant beam. He shifted himself, standing slowly and yawning.

Hello, new day... I wonder what you're going to bring me this time...

Akamu stretched, shaking himself a bit before deciding he was ready to greet the day, early as it was. It was a curse of his that he was never able to go back to sleep once he'd woken up.

The older wolf remained unaware of Suzaku, though, the little pup being downwind of himself. That is, he remained unaware of her until he turned, intending to see if he could hunt up somthing to fill his stomach. He paused, wondering if he'd seen it right... a patch of brightly colored fur in the underbrush? Curious, the wolf stepped closer, intending to investigate what could well be a figment of his imagination.

"Hello?" Now somewhat doubting that he'd seen fur at allt unwilling to leave without investigating, he came closer still, nosing about in the bush. "Anyone there?" His voice was quiet and reserved... but unmistakably inquisitive. Violence was the last thing on Akamu's mind, unless he himself felt threatened. If it turned out that he had seen fur, and that it belonged to an edible being like a rabbit... that was another story. For now, the older wolf only wanted to confirm what was under that bush.

He blinked, momentarily surprised that the fur he'd seen had shown itself to be a young wolf, but recovered himself fairly quickly. "I am Akamu... what is your name, if I may ask?" He spoke formally, as if slang and shortening of words were foreign to him for some reason.

"The pleasure is mine, Suzaku." The adult wolf shifted a little, sitting down and dropping his jaw slightly in a lupine smile. The pup seemed friendly enough- something he hadn't experienced in a long while, ever since the other pack had taken over his own pack's land, and he was relishing the experience. "I'm afraid I'm not familiar with these woods... do you live around here?" He might as well see if the pup knew if there was any game in the area.. and who knew? This pup might become his first friendly aquaintance in two seasons.
