"Another beautiful day..." Maria Williams, the "Mother" in the Williams household, was at home like usual. Though she owned a few small shops, she could do almost all her work here at the large house. After all, she was a house wife and took care of the home as well. Currently she was in the kitchen, baking some small treats for the family. Maria only turned her attention to the clock when it went off at 2pm. "Hm. School must be getting out soon. It's Friday, so the others might be late like usual," she said to herself with a small grin.

Mr. Williams was in his own office as always. He didn't get out of work until later, but that was alright. He made the money in business. After all, he was the CEO of his company. "Mr. Williams? Here's that report you wanted," a young woman explained, holding out a file. Atticus took the file and the woman left his office without another word, but he didn't look at it just yet. From his office in the tall building, he could spot the schools that his "children" went to. Was it so bad to watch the schools let out? He was just searching for his own family after all, making sure they were safe. "Three... Two... One..."

The school bells rang in all the schools: the elementary, middle, and high school. Atticus could surely see his children leaving the school grounds. Iris was the first on out nearly 99% of the time, and it was easy to spot her. She was the odd Middle School girl with extremely long white hair who took her shoes off as soon as she was off school grounds. After sticking the shoes in her backpack, Iris glanced around for her favorite brother. He was always there to walk her home or wherever else they liked to go to after school. "Zero!"

Although Atticus could only see Iris at the moment, he knew at least one of his sons was at work: Derik. The twenty-year old part-time college student worked at an auto-shop, fixing up cars every day. It let him work alone, without being judged, and let him secretly use his powers to get it done faster. Being a Technopath help a lot, since he was around technology and metal all day long. Derik sighed softly as he rolled out from underneath the Corvette he was working on, smudges on his cheek and clothes. "There... Done... Next..." he muttered, getting to his feet and wiping some sweat off his forehead, heading over to the next car.

Meanwhile, outside the Williams family, Angelina was at her locker getting her stuff before heading out of the school. She didn't go too far though, only to the City Park. Sitting down on a bench, she set her backpack down and pulled out a notebook. It was her habit to always come here every day to draw, unless it was raining. After all, she didn't want to get her sketches wet. But today was perfect, and Angelina went on drawing. She didn't exactly draw something specific in the park, but more or less just what came to mind. Today, it was her cat Ashes. The charcoal-colored cat was just so loveable it was hard to accept the fact that the kitten-sized feline would forever be small due to abuse. "Heh... I wonder if Ashes is sleeping like she usually is..." Angelina muttered to herself, giggling at the thought of her cat hogging her pillow at home.

Iris smiled brightly, skipping lightly on bare feet over to Zero's side. "It was alright... Ok, well, boring for the most part, but we can't do much about that," she said with a small sigh, only to perk up again when she saw Zero's hair moving. She giggled and stood on her tip-toes, trying to reach up for the fox kit even though she couldn't reach by like an inch or two. "Can we go to the forest again today? Storm doesn't like being left alone ya know~" Iris said, referring to her Stallion while still trying to reach the black fox.

"Yay! Here we come Stormy~" Iris cheered happily. She truly was just a child. Holding the fox kit close, petting him at the same time, she smiled up at Zero. Compared to his hair that reached the back of his thighs, her hair was just a few inches short from reaching her ankles. Today it was braided though, so it wasn't quite as long as that. "Can you show me those moves again? The ones that came from a game?" Iris asked. It wasn't exactly the weirdest thing she had asked of him, since she asked about his skills a lot in the past. Although their 'mother', Maria, told them not to show their powers to others in the city, they could still show each other as long as they were alone.

Zero chuckled a little and nodded. "Yeah, but only once we get into the woods, and even then, not the destructive ones, ok? That might get us in trouble." he said, placing his hand on top of Iris's head, rubbing slightly. The fox kit's tail wagged rapidly, both ears laying back as it enjoyed the petting.

"Ok ok," Iris huffed, giggling as Zero rubbed her head. She was also just happy with the fox kit, smiling as she watched it's tail swish. It was just so cute and cuddly, but of course, it was Zero's pet. Everyone's pet seemed to be small, either a ferret, a cat, raven, or even a bunny. She had Storm, her stallion, which was by far the largest of the pets. Once they were rather close to the forest, Iris carefully held the fox kit so she wouldn't drop him as she took off running.

A smile never left Iris' lips as she ran. Once they were within the safety of the trees, far enough in that the streets and city sounds were cut off, she slowed down. She didn't stop walking though until they were at a large flower field, probably her favorite spot in the whole forest. "Now be a good Foxy~" she said brightly before setting the kit down gently on the ground. With her hands free, she held one hand up to her lips and let out a loud whistle. Seconds later, thundering hooves trampled the earth as the black stallion made it's way to Iris' side, careful not to step on the fox kit. "See Zero? Now we're in the forest! What move are you gonna use, huh? I like the sword-thingy! Can you do that one?"

"Mhm! It's so cool-looking!" Iris said happily. Then again, she was so easily amused. Watching the fox kit for a moment, after staring at the blade in awe, she scrambled onto the stallions back easily. Just like always having bare feet, she always rode bare-back. "What other things can you do? I forget again..." After at least one more little "show" from Zero, Iris then normally got into working on her own powers. She was still mastering her abilities, which is another reason why she asked to come out here so often.
