He was half afraid, half okay with it. Gale had asked for a match and well, he wasn't going to say no. He'd beaten the poor guy up when he'd been pissed. Beaten him up when normal and just- Marcus apparently was good at beating up Gale. ******** if he knew why he usually made it out okay but just- Yeah. Gale got the short end of the stick with this s**t. Maybe not today however.
Marcus couldn't think of anything he'd done recently to piss off Gale. So- Hopefully Eva set up hadn't come to ruin his life. Hopefully. Coming up on the other trainee he waves. "Ah, hey Gale. You wanted to spar?"

Gale was a masochist I am not a masochist, thought Gale stubbornly as Marcus came strolling up to the training field, looking a little wary. I am just determined.
He hoped down off of the low slung wall he was sitting on and summoned Jinhai, giving Marcus a once over.
"Yes," he said fiercely. "Because one day I am going to beat you, and today is that day."

Ah, Well, lucky for Gale, Marcus was a sadist and a masochist, depending on what the situation called for. He would fill any roll Gale needed. Just slide right into that hole nice and smooth. But that was not always the case, sometimes marcus would just force his way into Gale's life. Fast, without thinking, and it could hurt them and their relationship. So like this? When Gale invited him? It was so much easier.
"Beat me? Alright Gale." Smirking Marcus got into position sword out, pulsating and ready. "Let's do it." He went for Gale's face, start high, move low. Sadly, he missed the initial thrust.

Fortunately Marcus' first thrust missed - something that made Gale quite pleased as he gave the other a dirty look.
"Yes," he said primly, swinging his gun around to raise it, aiming at Marcus' chest. "And stop with the patronizing, you know I can handle myself well enough to get you down."
This was not even remotely true, considering that Gale had lost to Marcus not once, not twice, not even three times before, but at least five or six times before. He'd been beaten so many times, he'd lost track of just how many battles he and Marcus had had by now.
He lifted the gun up, took aim, and fired.

Shot through the heart, but Gale was too late, he'd already given love a bad name. "Hey battles speak for themselves. If you want me to go down, you've got to make me." The throb of his sword begging to get into some meat was in the back of his mind and Marcus was trying his best to ignore it. "But who knows-" He grinned. "Maybe the positions will be reversed and you'll come out on top this time."
With a pulse, Marcus thrust again. He was feeling a little cocky... and a bit teasing towards Gale today.

"I will make you," growled Gale angrily, even as Marcus' sword swept cleanly against his side, colliding with his side in a furious thrust. "You're too confident today; that concerns me.
He tried to shoot again, but his shot went wild, the bullet disappearing somewhere out in the training field.

He grinned. "I'd like to see you try." Marcus liked teasing Gale. If asked why he'd say 'it's easy' or 'it's fun'. "And I am because I might be in a good, no, great mood. You might know why." There were tags for that sort of thing on twitter and his tweets. Gale's shot missed, but- Marcus was keeping an eye on the helt of the gun. Sometimes Gale swung harder than he shot. Slashing at his leg, Marcus grinned. "Did you manage to score the other day?"

"No," said Gale adamantly, even as Marcus' sword slammed into his leg and Gale gave a wheezing sort of cough, staggering backwards and nearly losing his grip on his gun in the process. "I did not score, thank you very much, but I assume you did, otherwise you wouldn't be nearly as chipper as you are now. Unless you just like teasing me, which wouldn't surprise me."

Marcus was beaming at Gale. The man was positively giddy when he thought about it. "Cass... She's amazing Gale. Like, ******** amazing. and what? You mean you didn't go- Damn it Gale!" Marcus stabbed at him again. "It was valentines for ******** sake! At least tell me you tried or got her some platonic love chocolates or something!"
But yes Gale, Marcus did like teasing you. Very much.

Already he was losing, and already Gale was beginning to get into a bad mood.
This had not been a very good idea at all.
"What I got her," said Gale, with as much dignity as he could muster, even with Marcus blathering on and on like a lovestruck teenager. "is none of your business, now is it?".
Then he promptly shot Marcus in the foot.
"And stop teasing me."

"AUGH ******** MY FOOT REALLY GALE?" Hoping up and down, for a second Marcus realized what else had been said. "Ohhh did you get her something nice. A cute bikini? A sexy pin up photo of you? Julie chocolates to make her fall in loveeeee?" He was just straight up teasing. "I'm sorry, you're easy Gale, hard to resist." He made a bad stab at him, pretty close to laughing.

This was followed by a Look as Gale said dryly - and teasingly, deliberately taking the comment completely out of context, "So I'm hard to resist? Why thanks, I appreciate that."

Marcus regret nothing. Not even as Gale got his other foot making him curse. "********. Cass you hate youuuu. I would to but no man augh s**t-" Hopping a bit he finally was okay. "And Gale, you are just easy. That and you take my sword so often you think you must like it or something." Marcus even gave an eye brow wiggle in there. Going up, Marcus was grinning as he whispered into the younger man's ear. "Maybe when you're legal, then we'll talk."

"Be grateful I didn't shoot you there," said Gale dryly, rolling his eyes. "I could have, you know."
His face roared scarlet, Jinhai laughing in his head (with a comment that was something along the lines of you stepped in that one), and Gale shoved the older hunter away, taking several hasty steps back. The rifle was cold in his hands, ice creeping up the barrel, and Gale shot it off easily, his cheeks still burning.
"Pervert."
