This place...it would be perfect.

Li had spent several months in search for the perfect territory to migrate his pride to. The threat of the two-legged creatures with the thunder sticks was too great. The pride simply couldn't hold their ground against such a danger and he wouldn't want them to. One of the lioness' had been injured in the first encounter and a few animals in the surrounding area had been killed. A leopard, a few gazelle, and even a ram had been devastated in one thunderclap from that terrible weapon. 'Heve had a vision of a perfect place, far from the danger and close to water.

He took a deep breath and looked about, his turquoise eyes drifting from the nearby falls to the rocky cliffs nearby. Perfect...

The god had taken his mortal form to keep himself hidden in case the area was occupied by rogues or other such predatory animals. Even as an adolescent he was small. His mortal form reflected his stunted stature and gave him a lean almost gaunt appearance. His mane only grew out from the top of his head down his neck and shoulders which was closer to a zebra, really, than a god's. Still, he was lion enough to keep himself masked.

Ahava was perched by those nearby falls. Her youth mind in quarrels about the food cache, her upper body was mainly wet, even her chin fur hung a little. She had been trying to fish but even the fish seemed to be scarce or against her catching them for her mother's support.
Over time Ahava had been noticing her mother's ribcage
breaking surface of her velvet skin. Ever since her father passed.. It had been this bad. She had to watch her siblings become more and more selfish as she worries for their sakes. They were selfish in their own ways. But maybe Ahava was just selfish in her own as well?

She sulked to herself about the way not being able to hunt properly made her angry, tired and sick. "If only I was a big lioness." She heaved in a breath. "Then my family would be well fed.. and Ma wouldn't need to worry about if we'll disappear on her or not.." Sigh. Living as a rogue wasn't the best of choice but Ahava knew little about prides.
