The rustling of skirts and the tinkering of delicate glass were the only sounds to be heard inside the jewelery shop. The music that normally played in the background had been turned off. All the store's occupants had agreed on having a quiet day today. It also meant Prisca could easily hear the people on the other side of the large windows as they passed by. Their voices were nothing but muffled sounds. If a loud one happened by, she could usually catch parts of the conversation. It was hard sometimes not to spy on the daily lives of the humans all around her.
The woman's tongue slipped out of the side of her purple lips as she concentrated on not breaking the delicate glass beneath her hand. She pushed one little glass Swellow with the tip of a fingernail towards a glass Ponyta to make room for a colored glass Latias. Standing on tiptoes, with her tail straightening out for balance, Prisca placed the last piece of a tiny Pidove in the center of a display of birds with raised wings, then stood back to admire her handywork. Well, her work of rearranging the figurines. She wasn't a glass maker. Small little things for jewelery, sure. But nothing like figurines.
Once satisfied, she turned around towards the back counter where Julie was counting out bracelets from a stock of new shipment. The younger woman was carefully laying out each bracelet on a cloth, counting silently to herself with her mouth forming each number. With her back to the front entrance, Prisca made her way down towards the other woman to spread out a cloth and begin counting rings from another small box.

Xero put whatever intentions the mirror had to the back of his mind. He could not ruin a day like this. A year ago he had heard a little of this day from the street vendor he had, for some reason, received a lot of information about the world from. It had almost slipped his mind until he saw a few heart shaped balloons around the town.
It did put a little more pressure on getting this gift done before the day was fully over. And that mean he would have to visit the shop while Prisca was working.
He slipped the ball in his pocket and than teleported close to the shop. There were humans in there and just randomly appearing did seem a little rude. Not to mention startling anyone could be disastrous in such a delicate shop. Walking wasn't too bad in any case.
As he approached the door he peered into the windows of the shop. Than with a deep breath he placed his hand on the handle of the door and opened it. There was no point in being sneaky, she could no doubt feel he was there, however perhaps he could keep her distracted enough to keep her away until he was finished with the gift. Or maybe her employees could help...
Xero looked around the shop briefly before approaching the desk. He had never really had a good look at the place before.

She could indeed sense him. At first, Prisca tried to ignore the familiar, and very welcome presence, in the back of her mind. There was no stock to count and she didn't want to lose count. She was already at 14. No, wasn't it 16? Well, that was quick.
Frowning as the door was opened, she looked up and caught Julie looking at her with an obvious smile on her face. The Mewtwo raised her eyebrows and gave her a "Don't" look before turning around to face the man coming towards them. Curiosity sparkled in her eyes. It was no where near her lunch break. In fact, she already had it.
"Xero," Prisca greeted in obvious surprise at his presence. In front of Julie, she made no move towards him. She was already close to him by being on the same side of the glass counter. The rings were quickly ignored in place of gripping onto the first layer of her skirts. There was already a small blush forming on the tops of her cheeks, much to the amusement of the staff out in the front with her. "You're here early."

Xero acknowledged the other ladies in the room with a bow and Prisca received a kiss on the back of her hand. He still had yet to kiss her on the lips, but he figured that was something to be saved. The hugh in his cheeks had changes slightly in color, which stood out among his very pale skin.
"I have something I need to do." Xero smiled warmly at her."Would you allow me to borrow one of your employees and some tools?"
An odd request, especially for him, and he had no doubt Prisca would figure something was up, However, he was good at keeping the thought hidden within his mind to prevent any probing from the other mewtwo.

The woman's already slightly crimson face went a shade darker at the kiss. She didn't resist her hand being taken from its grip on her skirt. No matter how many times he did that, it never failed to get a reaction from her. For a moment, she simply stared at him, half dazed by his presence and half going over why he would need one of her employees. Nothing distrustful every crossed her mind, not even once. Still didn't leave any options. Either he wanted to make something or he knew her employees outside of work and needed them for something not related to the place.
Curiosity shone brighter in her purple eyes.
Prisca took one look at Julie and quickly shooed her away to get Maria. It didn't take too long for the blonde woman to appear, smiling in a friendly way that was different from the way Julie was. Making Prisca more comfortable. Julie was a teenager. It was to be expected. She figured Xero, whatever he aimed to do here, would feel more comfortable with her first employee.
Maria waited patiently behind the counter, busying herself politely with the jewelery on the cloths.
"Would you like me to leave you two alone?"

Xero watched the woman enter the room than returned his focus to Prisca with the smile intact. Nothing distrustful crossed his mind either, in fact he was completely void of any ill intentions. Only excitement and determination for his current task. First he would get this gift ready, than dinner... he owed her a night out. It was the human day to honor affection after all.
"Yes, if you please My Prisca." He spoke after a moment. "Only for a bit."

"Sure," was the quick reply. The smile never faltered from the woman's face. If anything, it got wider. She didn't need to know what he was planning to do to feel somewhat happy he had come here for it. Doing that here made her suspicious it was something jewelery related. The only tools she had in the shop were computers and those to make jewelery. The main machines were back at her home, but she had been careful to train all her staff with the ability to make small things with the machines available.
Raising a hand, Prisca pointed towards her office door, with the Mewtwo wind-chimes dangling in a corner of the front room besides the door. "I'll just hide in there to make sure I don't see what you're doing." Stepping forward, she rested one hand on his shoulder and raised herself up high enough to plant a kiss on one cheek before disappearing into the office with a swish of her many skirts.
Left all alone with the strange Mewtwo, Maria kept her own friendly smile upon her face as she stepped out from behind the counter. Much like her boss was often seen doing, the blonde woman had her hands clasped in front of her.
"Something with the jewelery, I assume?"

"Thank you." Xero returned the kiss with an embrace before she returned to her office.
That left him with Maria. He turned toward the woman and with a polite bow inquired where the jewelry machinery was. The task at had likely wouldn't need anything fancy, just fine tools. Xero said nothing outside small inquiries of where the tools were located. He was quick to figure out how to use them. It wasn't out of rudeness that he said little, but rather he was so focused on his work that he didn't think to.
It took near an hour to get it cleaned and ready to present. Xero had worked with some scrap metals he had found to add a hook so it could be attached to a necklace or keychain. On the face of the master ball he carved and painted a dragon wrapped around the rose. Much like the one that he had found on a glass shard when they had first meet and Prisca had turned it into jewelry. Xero had yet to remove the necklace she had given to him.
Once it was all finished he found a decorated purple box to put it in. He thanked Maria for her help than approached the office door. He knocked on the door gently and waited for Prisca to answer.

Maria stayed in the back with the machines when Xero was done. They didn't need to talk for her to get an idea of what was going on. Despite that she knew her boss was in her office, the woman still felt a little bit of privacy to the Mewtwo was owed. Julie she kept occupied in the room attached to this, which served as a storage. Maria was further back in the shop than Julie, but she trusted the younger woman to stay where she was.
Inside the office, Prisca was fretting. Oh, she had plenty of things to do. Sort some files. Write some articles. Getting herself to focus on said things was proving too difficult a task for the poor Mewtwo. She could feel him there. And it was bugging her for want of knowing what he was doing. He had been in the jewelery making room for a hour. Of course, since it was Valentine's Day, it didn't take a genius to figure out it was something to do with her. Not that it solved the case fully. Though she knew Xero had a talent for figuring out how things worked quickly. But what was he doing?
Her answer finally came with the knock on the door. The woman nearly flew towards the door in her haste to solve her mystery. Opening it slowly, her purple eyes quickly sought his and moved out of the doorway in an invitation to let him in. Should he desire to sit, there was a couch against one wall.
"All done whatever it was you were doing?" She tried to keep the anticipation of figuring out what he was doing from her voice. Tried so hard.

Xero easily picked up on this anticipation despite her efforts. It was, and he would never verbally put it this way, adorable. He made a mental note of having to do something like this again. There was more days that could be set aside for courting. This just happened to be the celebrated day.
"I am." The smile widened on his face as he withdrew the decorated box from behind his back and held it up to Prisca. "My Prisca, would you accompany me on a walk later this afternoon?"
It was tempting to inquire if she would be willing to leave now, but he knew better than to pull one from their work.

Not for the first or last time, Prisca found herself staring at Xero longer than she had meant to. Not just because he made a rather handsome human, but because it was nice to see him smile. With all the things from his past, he deserved to smile. And often. Which he had been.
It was about time. There had been no decrease or increase in her own smiles, however. Though it could be reported they had more merriment behind them.
Gingerly, like she was expecting it to explode, Prisca took the box from his hand and opened it. At once, her purple eyes went wide beneath the black frames of her glasses. With one purple tipped finger, she poked at the round object. That was the first time she had seen one up close. The family she had lived with were too poor from making her to afford something so rare as a Masterball. Nor did they have anything to use one on. She had never known the confines of a ball.
"Is that real?" she breathed, still poking it. When her finger pressed the button in the middle by mistake, she drew back, but it never moved. Only then did she dare pick it up. Part of the Pokemon still inside her feared the round object. But she wasn't a Pokemon anymore. She couldn't be caught. Right? Even if it still worked.
Turning it over, the woman inspected it, drawing a finger down the carving on the front. It did bring back the memory of the day at the beach, her second meeting with the man in front of her. She raised her eyes to his neck, where the necklace with the same design always hung around his neck. Unbidden, one tear ran down her cheek and she turned her head away, presenting her back while she went to her desk. The box was laid down on the surface, the ball inside it, while she rummaged through a drawer to produce a black ribbon. Drawing it out, she hooked the ball around it and tied it around her neck to make a pretty choker, the ball bouncing above her collar bone. She was thankful they were very tiny when not set.
Turning back to Xero, Prisca moved to eye level, wrapped her arms around his neck, and gave his nose a kiss, as was her usual gesture in place of his lips. If he wouldn't, she wouldn't, either.
"A walk would be nice. Give me a hour after I get off. I assume you know when that is."

"It is quite real, though long since rendered useless." Xero chuckled at her reaction to the trinket. Quite an understandable reaction. He even feared the idea of a ball that could catch without fail should it hit. Which was partially the reason anyone with them was treated poorly when he encountered them previously.
At the sight of the tear his eyes widened. He had not anticipated such a reaction. Before he could move to wipe the tear she had already turned around. Perhaps this was the wrong gift?
"M-" The phrase dropped from his mouth as he saw she was already putting the ribbon around her neck. Concern was once again replaced by that warm smile. Before he could complement her appearance she had already planted a kiss on his nose. His cheeks brightened, something he still could not control when she displayed such affection.
"As you wish." He spoke softly than kissed her forehead. "I do. I will return than My Prisca."
And with that said he removed himself from Prisca's embrace, gave her a slight bow, than teleported away so she could finish her work in peace.

Prisca, however, did not return to work. After sitting at her desk for a good ten minutes, trying to write reports on custom jewelery and fiddling with the Masterball around her neck, she gave up, told Maria she was leaving for the day, and went home. That would give her enough time to do what she wanted to. Which was a shower and a change of clothes. Considering what day it was, Prisca picked out a red dress from her closet, which original was a wedding dress. As was a lot of her clothing. Wedding gowns and other once-in-a-lifetime fancy dresses were all that fit her style of classy dress. It wasn't like she ever expected to wear anything wedding related on an actual wedding day, so why not treat it like a regular dress?
She even put her hair up, curling it so it fell from the clip in ringlets to her neck. The Masterball was returned to her neck once all her preparations were complete-nothing too extravegent, since it was just a walk-but this time on a red ribbon that was lined with white dots. The color of the spots made it shine, like she had sewn little diamonds onto the fabric.
Since she didn't say where to meet him, and he didn't either, she returned to her shop, standing outside and peering in to watch Julie and Maria at work. The dress trailed against the ground normally, but she had fixed it so it was attached to her finger at the very end of the back to keep it off the ground.

Xero spent that hour far over the city, his usual meditating spot, looking over the busy city below. It was strange when one was excited for a certain time it came slower than normal, or at least seemed to. One hour seemed many in this case. A little too much time to dwell on things. Xero tried to keep his mind's focus away from anything that would bring the spirit down, though there was a pricking in the back of his mind -and strangely in unison with the scar on the back of his hand- of something terrible. A heavy feeling that seemed so desperate to drive him to rage. Thankfully the feeling was kept at bay by a familiar and very welcomed presence.
When time had finally come Xero looked at the sun with a smile than returned to the shop in a flash. To his surprise Prisca was already waiting for him dressed and as spectacular as ever. He was slightly ashamed to not have anything better than his current attire, at least nothing that could compare to the posh style of Prisca's own attire.
His cheeks turned a soft red as he approached. "You always seem to leave me at a loss for the right words."

Prisca was toying with the Masterball-it could fit easily between her fingers as she'd seen most trainers do as a challenge to others-when Xero appeared. Having become long acquainted with the way he traveled-and having felt his presence prior-the woman didn't even bat an eyelash when he appeared out of thin air. Her hand dropped, rustling the skirts it was attached to, to grab onto his and hold his between her own while she moved to stand before him. The smile she shot up at him was warm and loving, if not a tad amused at his comment.
"Why would you say that?" she asked, tilting her head slightly so a little curl shifted off the side of her head. "Only difference is my hair. Long hair is much more fun than shorter. But perhaps, if you're so speechless, I'll get out a bottle of wine and see what happens." The thought made her giggle before she could catch herself behaving less like the proper lady she would have liked to. If he behaved as he did under the influence when he wasn't aware of what was going on inside him, what would happen if he was given some now? The mystery was almost too tempting to resist. She did have wine in her house somewhere. The woman was fond of a little bit here and there.
"A walk where, now?"
