Rivalry: Raises the base power of a move by 25% if the foe and the user have the same gender, but reduces base power by 25% if the foe and the user have opposite genders.
Skill Set:
»» Thunder: A wicked, 100 volt thunderbolt is dropped on the foe to inflict damage, and has a 10% chance of paralyzing the target.
»» Spark: The user throws an electrically charged tackle at the foe. It may also leave the target paralyzed.
»» Ice Fang: Deals damage and has a 10% chance of freezing the opponent. It also has a 10% chance of causing the target to flinch, if the user attacks before the target.
»» Hyper Beam: Hyper Beam will always need to recharge if it hits, even if the target is knocked out, unless the battle is completed in that turn.
Personality:
Ridiculously...ridiculous. Hector definitely works to the beat of his own drum. He's kind of a rebel, preferring to do things his own way rather than listen to the words of his superiors. But he's not particularly rude; just kind of "Oh, Ima do it this way kay?" and will then proceed to flutter off like a butterfly. He's what could be called cheerfully rebellious, and really won't get angry if someone catches him pulling pranks or the like.
He's also pretty dense at times, and has this selective hearing thing where he tends to only hear the good things people say, rather than the bad things. It's not that he doesn't want to hear them, but in his head it's like ".......YOU'RE PRETTY but you need to stop doing this...." and all he hears is the "YOU'RE PRETTY" part and gets stuck on it. Sometimes it takes him a while to do things, and sometimes he doesn't understand things right off the bat, but he's got a good heart.
The downsight to Hector's constant cheerful attitude is that when he's yelled - really yelled at, or told that he's hated, he gets really depressed and really upset. Since he normally only believes the best in people, it's really hard for him to see the negative aspects in people, and that sort of naivete tends to always turn out badly for him. However, don't make the mistake of thinking he's incapable of things. When Hector wants something, he wants it, and will do what it takes to get it. He can be fiercely determined, and extremely stubborn.
He's also clingy. And he likes to cuddle or hug or just be all touchy feely and b all up in ur perzonal spce.
Also, don't get him angry - really. Even though 99.9% of the time he's ridiculously cheerful, when someone annoys him enough to get him mad, or does something to tick him off, Hector can get seriously mad. He's an electric type, so he's strong and he can handle his lightning well, and if you piss him off, you better be a fast runner. This side of him isn't seen very often, but although Hector is undeniably sugar sweet most of the time, he can and will get mad if pushed far enough. And he knows very well when to be serious and when to play around - he just prefers playing around.
Strengths:
He has extremely good vision, he's a quick thinker, and he's fast.
Weaknesses:
Sweets He does't handle rejection well, he can be lazy, and he can become too attached to things (mostly meaning people) too fast and too hard.
History:
Hector is from 707, and therefore was born and raised in the Lab. He does not, however, still have his memories from 707. The explosion and destruction of the lab was damaging to him - every once in a while he will get flashes of memory here and there, but for the most part he does not remember anything (This can be turned around, however, through roleplay and interaction with those he knew from 707, but it would be a slow process).
