Physical Description: Hideyoshi is a black haired young man. His hair is kept clean and cut in a cut that's only a trim away from making him clean shaven. In the same way he has no beard at all as it is completely clean shaven. Unsurprisingly for a half Japanese half German man Hideyoshi has brown eyes which are forever hidden behind a pair of flashy sunglasses with blacked out lenses so that no-one can see through them and silver frames. His build is not particularly muscular though it is what would be expected of a healthy young man as he has no need of it in his line of work. Throughout the day regardless of season he wears a long black coat that covers his entire body which is usually buttoned up. Although he makes it unclear during the summer he is usually burning up and could fall over any second. Underneath this he wears a smart clean white shirt and a simple red tie. His trousers are a pair of smart black slacks and they are accompanied by a pair of smart black trousers and socks. All in all his appearance could be described as smart, businesslike and somewhat intimidating.

When Hideyoshi is at home however it is more likely to see him in either no clothes at all or just a pair of pants depending on how hot or cold it is.

Personality: Hideyoshi gives off the impression to his clients and people he knows that he is a professional. Married to his job. He does not enjoy killing people especially innocents however he does so because it is the best work for him. He conducts himself with the seriousness and intelligence expected of such a man and is always polite to both his clients and his victims. However if one were to observe Hideyoshi more closely or become entwined in his personal life they would see he is nothing of the sort.

Hideyoshi is terrible at managing money and it is partly the reason he takes up most of his work in assassinations. Although it is true that he cares very little for his victims (except to be polite) he is not as professional as he comes across. He owns a small flat of reasonable size and although his work means he could probably purchase a much larger house he spends his money on trivial things such as figurines and dakimakura as well as novelty T shirts and parts for his computer. When Hideyoshi goes home he usually takes off all his clothes and goes to argue with people on the internet about his favourite animes and why he thinks one of the girls in it is a massive slut while usually sitting down in a chair that is bad for his back.

Ultimately Hideyoshi is petty and childish in the confines of his own house yet he is trained in never showing this side of himself to anyone. Appearing mostly as a calm but threatening figure.

His home is the most betraying factor in his true personality outside of his work environment and as such not many people actually know where he lives. The few that do are mostly not related to his work at all.

Bow:

Quincy Cross: His Quincy cross is a simple cross made of silver however on the tip of each point is a hand. The fingers are clasped together on each all except for one index finger that points skywards.

Bow Description: Hideyoshi's bow is part of the reason his work is done as it is. The bow takes around five seconds to fully set up its manifestation and as such is completely and utterly useless in a combat situation as it will not manifest before his arms are cut off. Unsurprisingly as a result not many people have seen his bow as he usually uses it from a distance.

The bow itself is a purely spiritual construct. In the set up time a point emerges from his arm of pure spiritual particles dark green in colour directed straight upwards. From this point a complicated frame work of parts spreads out all linked to the base in a symmetrical pattern around the central point. After this the bow is ready for use.

The bows arrows can only fire upwards however they are somewhat unusually affected by gravity. When a shot is fired it will accelerate into the air until reaching just short of the stratosphere. The shot will then hurtle downwards releasing vast quantities of spiritual energy to make itself move faster until finally it crashes down hitting the target.

To make sure he can hit Hideyoshi usually follows his targets around for a while. Learning their patterns over a two week period. Tapping their communication lines to learn their plans and gaining as much information as he can before firing a single arrow upwards in such a way that the arrow should be exactly where they stand. He may even move in close to a person and ask them to be at a certain spot if the need be.

Bow Powers/Attacks: Homing Mark: Though not necessarily part of the bow they are related and a technique that has resulted from the usage of such a weapon. The Homing Mark is a piece of soul silver that is constructed by Hideyoshi. It allows his arrows to when they are within a certain range (of around 20 metres) track on to the target and readjust their movement so that they will be more likely to hit.

These pieces of soul silver are usually fairly small squares with a insignia printed into them. A spiritually aware person might be able to tell that some tiny amount of spiritual energy resides in them but they would not be able to (unless extremely talented) use them to track down Hideyoshi or work out the exact use unless they have seen them before.

They must be planted on targets to work. It could be in their pocket or even by making them swallow it. As long as it is close to them this means that the arrows fired are likely to hit.

The arrows adjust itself to hit these and so usually these homing marks are destroyed in the process.

Meteor Arrow Style: Hideyoshi's arrows and bow are made in such a way that they will always without a doubt fire straight upwards. When doing so they use small constant amounts of reishi fired off to travel up until they reach the stratosphere. At this point the arrow will usually turn and begin to fall towards the ground again aimed in such a way that it should hit the target where they stand.

On its fall the arrow releases constant bursts of reishi gaining speed and force until it is within around 100 metres from the ground where it may be more easily detected. At this point it stops releasing reishi bursts to rapidly increase its speed as it hurtles down but instead transforms to become more volatile.

Upon making contract with its target the arrow usually explodes in a dark green explosion which is supposed to destroy the homing mark and kill the target. It can usually kill most opponents of the same power within one hit. More powerful opponents may take multiple shots. Weaker opponents are sure to be destroyed instantly.

These arrows can only be fired one at a time.

Biography/History: Hideyoshi is distantly related to Seiko's family of Quincy. To be exact he is the 12th cousin and is one of the first in his line to show any potential for Quincy powers except from his mother before him who was also a capable Quincy.

For a number of years and most of the way through his childhood he lived in Germany until his parents moved him to Japan for reasons they would not explain to him (it was because that was where his mother had left all her training equipment) that he is still not aware of. It was during his stay here than his mother started teaching him about his powers as a Quincy believing that bad things were going to come in the future given recent events. When he moved to Japan he became infatuated with some of the TV shows and this love has stayed with him his entire life.

However she felt her training had been useless when she learned the way her son's bow had manifested. Hers being more suited for up close combat she could not see any use for her son's weapon. Although she decided to give up on teaching him to be a Quincy after that he continued his training in secret believing that there must be some use to his bow that he had been granted with. His first use of the weapon was to kill a bird and seeing this he believed he could use it for something. At first he tried to learn to hit things in the air but he found that his skill lay in shooting his arrows into the air and then hitting things on the ground afterwards.

For a while in his life Hideyoshi drifted until he was out of school with average grades and no idea what kind of job he could do. Finally he realised that he might be able to use his weapon to make himself a profit. The second time he used his weapon to kill a creature was to kill a man for a group of thugs. Realising now that he could make money without having to do work he started taking up the role more permanently.

Hideyoshi has not always lived in Karakura but has taken up residence there after being detected. As Karakura is awash with spiritual energy he is harder to detect unless one knows his individual pressure. He has also moved there as there is more work especially as some people know of his abilities as a Quincy and would know what a Quincy is.
