With a grunt and a growl, the seemingly grumpy teddiursa waddled away from his ever babbling trainer, who failed to even realize he wasn't paying any attention to her. As he waddled around on his paws and claws, he stopped to shift his scarf back around his neck, having plopped his butt down a safe distance from the constant stream of babble that poured out of Fay's mouth like a waterfall. With a sigh, he rolled his pale pink eyes, hunched up his shoulders, lowered his head, flicked his bob tail, and glared across the grass for something more interesting to catch and quite possibly steal his attention.

Having put a fair distance between herself and her trainer (much to her relief), the calico Glameow found a nice shady area to curl up and catch some much needed shut eye. She'd not been laying there more than a few moments when she suddenly felt she wasn't not alone. Her eyes popped open and she hastily looked all around. Nobody to be seen... just the wind? Or perhaps it was a ghost? The idea made her shudder. Maybe wandering away from her trainer wasn't such a good idea after all.

Half way through a yawn, Rumble's pink eyes spotted something curled up not to far away. With a grunt, he shifted himself to his paws, as if the very action itself just pained him to do so. As he waddled closer, his eyes wound their way down a long spring like tail to the tip of a mottled brown fluff. A glameow. He sure hoped she was better company than Fay, because he waddled all the way over, he wasn't about to leave now. "Hey..." he did his best to grumble in the most polite way a bear could.

No it definitely wasn't going away. What was this presence? She was sure she could hear heavy footsteps coming towards her now, but she had scrunched her eyes up tight by this point, completely frozen by fear. Upon hearing the 'hey' she fluffed herself up into a tight ball of fur (as if somehow that would protect her), "D-don't come any closer I'm warning you!" it was here that she dared open one of her greeny-yellow eyes; her gaze travelling up the blob of fuzzy brown fur in front of her to fall upon the face of what she could only assume was pure evil, "Eep!"

Rumbles brows lowered and his face was that of not too much amusement. (think 8| ) "Relax." he said as calm as he could. He might look like a grumpy puss, but he wasn't a bully. All he wanted to do was talk. "Just came to chat..... any company is better than my trainer." he huffed and shrugged his shoulders, this action causing his front paws to slightly raise off the ground as if he attempted to jump but couldn't quite make it. "You got one?" he asked, glancing around for any form of angry kind of human barreling his way with a pokeball.... or otherwise.

Possum's eyes remained wide; she did not like the look of his claws one bit. "Y-you want to eat me! I just know it!" if she weren't frozen to the spot in fear she'd have bolted by now, "How do I know I can trust you?". He didn't seem entirely untrustworthy, but he was a stranger... that usually meant they wanted to eat or catch you for some horrible purpose. She tilted her head at the question about her trainer, "Yes... I do. AND he'll be back at any moment so you'd better watch yourself!". Sure her trainer may have been a complete dipstick, but if it meant keeping this thug of a bear in line she was prepared to lie through her teeth.

Rumble simply stared at the cat with a still not to amused face. "Eat you? Really? Do I look like I eat glameows?" he huffed as he plopped lazily down on his butt and wiggled his bob tail a bit till it was comfortable. Maybe coming over to talk to her wasn't such a good idea after all. "Look man, all I wanted was some company of another pokemon.... so you wanna talk or are you going to keep being afraid of me?" he sighed as he lifted one claw to scratch behind his ear, his scarf lolling to one side as he tilted his head somewhat like a dog.

Possum frowned, "There’s no need to be rude, I just don't trust easily is all" she watched him scratch himself with a look of distaste, "Besides have you looked at yourself recently? It's not hard to see how one might be afraid of you". With a sigh Possum began to lick her paws and groom behind her ears to show the creature she was no longer intimidated.

Rumble frowned at her. "What's that supposed to mean...." he snorted then glanced at his chest fur and his claws. What was wrong with the way he looked? Was he really that bad? With a frown he did his best to lick down a few stray hairs while she groomed her paw. When he was done, he shuffled his shoulders like if he didn't know what to say next. "So...what are you doing away from your trainer? I gave you my reason."

Possum could see that the brutish creature was trying to adjust his appearance… Sure she couldn’t see much of a difference but at least he had made the effort, “My trainer is an idiot… he feeds me and grooms me yes, but if you ever met the man for yourself, you’d know. A complete moron.” having calmed down considerably, she fluffed herself up and wrapped her tail around herself.

Rumble couldn't help but laugh at that answer. "Seem's we think the same of our trainers." he said with an eye roll. Well he wasn't sure he'd call his an idiot.... but she was sure annoying. What with all her magic tricks and making him sit still while she dressed him up in silly costumes and forced him to dance on stage. This wasn't his ideal day at all. Though....it could be worse. "At least they spoil us I guess..." he said, though somewhat softer tone of voice.

Possum laughed, "Spoiling is one thing... Your trainer doesn't make you sit there and listen to awful songs? And dress up in bows and prance around in front of crowds do they?", she shuddered. "He means well but gah sometimes I just want to run away for good!"

Rumble blinked his eyes as they opened wide in shock. "Waaaiiit. You sure we don't have the same trainer?" he tilted his head and looked back in the direction of Fay. He then let out a soft rumbling laugh. "Your forced to dance and I'm forced into silly magic acts. We should start a club."

Possum couldn't help but smile, perhaps they weren't so different after all, "Nah... he does enjoy magic so don't give him ideas, but honestly Sebastian and I just sit there and tolerate his songs. We've told him many times how much we hate him but he never listens" she sighed, "Besides, I think Sebastian likes the attention. But yes, a club sounds like a fine idea! - Oh! We haven't been properly introduced, I'm Possum" she bowed her head respectfully, "Sorry about being so freaked out on you before... I'm not good with strangers" she twitched slightly as if the idea alone had her nervous again.

Rumble laughed. "I don't have any other pokemon companions." he said as he scraped his claws into the dirt. "Unless you count Kassidie, but she belongs to my trainer's mate. And she does everything he asks her to." he said with a soft gag before extending his paw for her to take.... then realized that was probably a bad idea and simply nodded his head as she did. "Names Rumble. Pleasure to meet ya Possum.
