Rolled a One: Ice field : The temperature of the stadium suddenly drops several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifts for the upcoming battle. The floor turns into extremely slick ice which makes maneuverability, even simply standing, difficult. Randomly placed crystal-like pillars reach skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ICE type attacks

Shina sighed. Annabell was getting antsy again, in that way that meant she wanted to battle. Giving in to the inevitable, she headed down to the stadium. The doors wooshed open, and cold air rushed out.
Annabell, predictably, darted in, launching herself from the trainer's box, eager to get down to the arena. Shina leaned back outside the doors and grabbed a cloak from the coat rack there.
Clasping the cloak and taking her spot at in the trainer's box, Shina looked down. Annabell was digging her claws into the ice, cheerfully clawing tiny ice shards up and gathering them into a fluffy ice ball. Shina could only imagine that she wanted the blood of her opponent to drizzle over the impromptu snow-cone.

Dave(temprary name for temporary trainer) walked in as his rental Emogla chittered in his ear, it was his first time battling. He doubted his trust in his own abilities, nervous as the Emogla hopped down onto the ice and snow of the battlefield.
Said Emogla watched and twitched his tail, jumpy with anticipation.
Dave warmed his hands and pulled his coat closer about himself.

Shina sighed. "Go ahead Anna, have fun." While she sometimes tried to control Anna in battle, when she go this wound up it was best just to let her out and stand back.
Anna chattered her teeth at the Emolga, an aggressive, anticipatory behavior. Looking around, Anna got an evil glint in her eye. The temperature dropped even further, Anna sucked in a huge breath, and suddenly a beam of frozen energy was blasting straight for the Emolga.

Emogla squeaked as the attack hit and flung it almost from the battle area. It dug its claws into the ice and skidded to a stop.
"Use... Electro Ball," Dave said, after looking through his Pokedex.
Emogla chittered angrilly and started charging its body with electricity. Shooting it out in a ball at the Furret.

Anna shrieked in rage. That had hurt! Shaking the sparks from her fur, Anna's crimson eyes glittered with malice as she stared at the Emolga. Gathering her energy, she sent a swarm of stars at her opponent.
