Also, it's really helpful to us if you work on the trial lines, as we get an idea of how your work translates to the Soq lines. Your Assignments! ROUND 2 FOR Familiar colorists and (scroll down for) Juniors!- notice that if later applicants apply and show promise then they can be through R2 too. This is just for everyone who has posted already. If the people who were not picked continue to practice and we like their work then there can still be hope so don't feel bad! <3 exclaim ROUND 2 for familiar colorists For this test we are going to have the familiar colorist hopefuls do mock breedings of unedited soquili on the trial lines. Do 2-3 babies of each. If they have wings or other edits for the breed, ignore if it you wish, just do their coat patterns. You will have until March 1st at 11:59 pm to finish. Feb. 23 (1AM) - DONE!
Phew. That last baby gave me some troubles, otherwise I would have been done long ago XD Oh well, C'est la vie!

Feb. 22 (10:45pm) - Updated Baby #3 WIP. Just have hair & fixes to go now! Should be done by the end of the night.
Feb. 19 (4:30pm) - Added Baby #3 WIP. Starting to paint the flowers now <3
Feb. 19 (2AM) - Fixed Baby #1, and she is now done!
Feb. 19 (12:05AM) - Added finished Baby #2, making a few changes to Baby #1. Beginning sketch on Baby #3, WIP will be up soon.
Feb. 14 (930pm) - Added updated sketch for Baby #2, & added a few markings to Baby #1
Feb.14 (6pm) - Added in sketch WIP for Baby #2
Feb.14 (near 1AM) - Claiming a post, and sharing the first offspring. Will update with more as I work on them =)

Soquili Species: Flutter
Body Build: Regular w/ leg fluffs
Gender: Male
Starting Stage: Adult
Familiar: Cogs
Concept Origin: Hatter from Sci-fi's TV movie 'Alice' and the Gaian donation letter item: TM Machine wings
~*~ Colors & Markings ~*~
Body: Along the idea of the Gaian Time-Machine items... He has clockwork theme over his body, maybe a larger cog on his hip and 'joints' at his ankles and knees. I'm sure you can make him look 'steam punk-ish'
Face: He has dark eyes, and I'd like his expression to be a little more on the grinning side: [x]
Mane: Short tousled mane in a dark brown
Tail: His tail will be the short style in the same dark brown
Hooves/Fetlocks: Dark hooves, either brown or black, his fetlocks will end in a more golden copper on all but one of his legs.
Reference Image(s): Steampunk wings, Clockwork Hatter, Steam Punk horse, Statue, sketch, hat, cable idea (my com rooms have never looked that bad >_> )
~*~ Physical Traits ~*~
Wings: Like the Gaian TM wings (just the wing part, not the block at the back) If you want to make his clockwork design on his body to radiate out from the base of the wings that might look nice.
Other Notes: While I'd like him to be wearing some steampunk inspired pieces, I'd like his body pattern to be a little more subtle to give the idea of being made out of clockwork.

Custom Items: Chains wrapped loosely around his shoulder and front leg, one loop has a 'pocket watch' hanging from it.
A scarf (kerchief, not knitted scarf) with a pattern like Hatter's shirt
I'd like him to be wearing Hatter's hat and to have steampunk style headphones around his neck over the kerchief. He will also have a steampunk cuff on his other leg (the one without the watch) and one around the leg without the copper fetlock.

Colour: this colour scheme but resembling the leafy sea dragon (with a slight shimmer or bioluminescence to the colours)
Mane: Something long and flowy, sandy brown in colour, maybe some seaweed leaves in her hair.
Tail: She get's the alt kelpi tail with fins edited to look like the sea dragon
Hooves/Fetlocks: CC
