Sometimes - okay, almost all the time - when I'l listening to musicals, I "hear" myself as the director, hering myself ask the actors stuff a director would ask.
Okay, I know that's confusing, so I'll give you an example:
I was listening to RENT's "Light My Candle" and at the line "what's that? // candy bar wrapper" I imagined myself asking Mimi "Now, do you know that Roger has your smack?" Then I see the scene two differant ways, once with the answer as yes, once with the answer as no. Do you get it?
There are also a couple instances with Wicked and Avenue Q that I see myself do this, too. Does this happen to ANYONE else?
