Soo recently I heard of another group that boffer fights here in Florida and is Viking based and I felt a very sharp pang of want to join, to fight like a Viking like the Norse. But its far away and really my question is about using weapons, about fighting like a Viking or a Norse Warrior. I am not really good with those weapons. Scimitars match my style far better but I feel like maybe I should be using Norse weapons. So should I be? I am aware that the Gods likely probably dont care, thus far the only ones one to be connected with me are Thor and Odin, but fighting is holy in a way for me and I dunno. I just feel maybe I should be.

If you join a Viking historical reconstruction group, yeah, you'd have to use the historically appropriate weapons.

I am saying from a Spiritual or Religious viewpoint should I be using Norse weapons when I fight? Even though I am not very good with them?

I haven't done anything with my Path lately. This might be the kick in the a** I need.
