 Kohja had grown bored, and wandered out of his room until he found a door leading outdoors and then followed the smell of water. It wasn't naturally here, but it would work to amuse him for now.
Grateful he wasn't the shedding type, he slunk into the water by the steps, pinning his ears to help keep water out, and began to doggy-paddle across.

Dʀακɛ ► The dragon happily arrived at the pool with his mistress. He laughed, "The beach or not... doesn't matter." Drake at managed to find a pair of shorts that would work as a pair of swim trunks. He changed his clothes to something more pool-appropriate, and not his normal turtleneck. Drake paused and cocked his head to the side. There was a dog in the pool... he wondered if it had a name.► "Oye!" He called out trying to get the canine's attention. "Hello there! My name is Drake. This is my Mistress, Ambrosia. Might I ask your name?"Ihk wux re crunchy...

Kohja managed to get his front paws on the side of the pool, heaving himself out of the water and shaking out his fur to keep from dripping everywhere. He looked across the site and spotted the caller. Lifting himself to his hind legs with the use of some human features, he walked over to them.
Doing as he'd been raised to, he addressed the Mistress first. "Lovely to meet you, my Lady," he smiled, bowing slightly.
Turning back to the male who had addressed him, the wolf answered, "And a pleasure to meet you as well, Drake," he held out his hand-like paw, "I'm Kohja."

Ambrosia grinned at her pet, her golden eyes shifting to the pool when she saw him tilt his head to the side. She smiled at Kohja when he approached and inclined her head in greeting. "A pleasure to meet you Kohja, and I'm sorry to hear that...perhaps we can help make your day a little less boring though. I am finding this day to be rather enjoyable so far, what about you love?" The Head-Mistress asked, turning her attention to her pet for the moment.

Dʀακɛ ► "Well it started off a bit boring," The dragon rubbed the back of his neck. He did just arrive at the castle today and things have gotten much more interesting. All that and he managed to gain a mistress... after being in all those shops for so long.► He smiled, "I think the worst that could happen is for today to become boring again." Ihk wux re crunchy...

A 'cute' smile grew on Kohja's face at the Mistress's kind words. "You've already helped brighten my day," he told her, "I don't know if it's your eyes or if it's your words, but I've already forgotten about any time that was boring in my life."
He turned to her interesting scented pet and smiled. "I'm sure you'll never get bored," he said, "You have too wonderful of a Mistress for that to happen."
OOC: Consider me jealous of your posting styles; I've never been able to pull that off.

Randal walked out to the first pool with all the chairs lined up on either side and looked around. It was lovely and very inviting. But there was no one else here. He then saw that there were two or three people at a pool not very far off just outside the gate of the pool he was standing by. Walking over to the gate, he opened it and walked through. He had changed into his swim trunks and showered himself off in the changing area before coming out here, and so was ready to get in the water. With a slight nod and a cordial smile to the others, he walked into the pool.
"Hello."
He said to everyone as a greeting.

I would find it hard to believe that someone has yet to claim you." A faint blush crept up to her cheeks at the words he spoke to her pet and then Drake's own. "You are too kind Kohja, thank you...And I will do my best to make sure you are never bored Drake." The Head-Mistress said turning to her pet with a warm smile. She motioned fo both pets to follow her and turned to walk toward a group of chairs. After taking a seat Ambrosia removed her sandals then stood to remove the saron around her waist, draping it across th chair. "I realize you were just swimming, but would you care to join Drake and myself? Even if you are done swimming you are welcome to hang around and chat." Her golden eyes shfted to the newcomer when he arrived a few moments later. "Randal, welcome...How are tou settling in?"

"Very well thank you. I've already had the pleasure of visiting your resplendent library and find it quite to my liking. What I've seen of the castle so far is most impressive and very accommodating. My room was also done to perfection. I couldn't have asked for anything better. My compliments to those of you that own this estate."
She was a beautiful woman. And he found her eyes to be enticing as well as soothing to look into. He listened to what she'd said to the others as he waded deeper into the pool. After speaking with her, he went under the water and swam to the deepest part of the pool then surfaced treading water wondering if the others would say hello.

You fail when you don't try" Ж "Such an amazing collection, isn't it? You have my sister, Amaranthe, to thank for it though. She obtained many of the books and also decided how to organize them. I love to read but I enjoy being outdoors much more. So, I put more effort into the outer areas of the castle, the garden should be open very soon, a day or two at the most." Ambrosia spoke with a kind smile, her golden eyes shimmering with joy as she spoke of her own interest. She loved a good book, truly she did, but this Head-Mistress would take the outdoors over a book almost any day. "I am pleased to hear that, if there is ever anything you would like changed, please, don't hesitate to ask." Ambrosia stepped up to the pool's edge and lowered her body into the shallow end, she wouldn't venture far from there yet however. The woman did not want to leave her pet or Kohja behind.

"It is. It truly is! Amaranthe... I've not had the pleasure of meeting her. Perhaps I will have the good fortune to meet her sometime soon. But, much like you, I too enjoy the outdoors! And I love to explore. It may sound quirky, but everyone had their peculiarities. Thank you for the offer and I shall keep it in mind my lady."
He was enjoying watching her speak about the outdoors as it seemed to kindle happiness in her. He smiled and chatted with her naturally feeling at home here a bit more as time passed.
