You fail when you don't try" Ж Ambrosia chuckled to herself, a smile playing across her lips when she saw Shinobu blush. 'How cute.' The woman thought to herself, filing this information away in her mind for possible use at a later time. She walked down the hall with her new pet, leading the way outside. The farther they walked the closer Shinobu grew to her though. The Head-Mistress put her arm around her pet and asked if she was alright. Shinobu did not reply to her right away but instead grabbed onto Ambrosia's shirt, making the woman even more worried. One, thin, dark eyebrow arched up at the girl's words, Shinobu was obviously not fine. She may not be an empath like her sister's but that didn't she couldn't tell how people felt. Ambrosia had learned to read people based not only on their words but by their actions as well. "Shinobu, I don't like it when people keep things from me." There was a slight warning tone in her voice as these words left her lips, though there was an obvious concern as well. "Besides, if you don't tell me what's wrong I can't help you."
Shinobu began to walk normally once more, grabbing on to Ambrosia's hand. She smiled down at the girl but was going to keep an eye on her nonetheless. As they neared the door Shinobu started to run and the Head-Mistress picked up her pace to match the girl's. They burst out of the doors, wind flowing gently around them, and then Ambrosia began leading her pet towards the forest. Truth be told, she didn't have only one favorite place. She loved being outdoors, loved everything about Trinity Castle. It was hers and her sisters' own domain, no stupid court games and should anyone irritate them too much they could send that person away. Her pace slowed to a stop when they finally arrived, a bright smile appearing on her lips. "Well? What do you think?"

As they walked along she felt amazing! It was invigorating to walk and stretch her muscles after being cooped up in a carriage all day. The sun would set in the next three or four hours which was plenty of time. She never felt scared in the forest which is why she didn't mind going out so close to dark in a new place. She'd made many forests her home when she'd camped in remote villages to help people she'd met during her life.
"So Arisu, when were were in the room, I noticed that you had gasped while you were sitting on the bed. Are you okay? Is there something that you'd like to talk about with me?"

Arisu not being used to cars and feared them, took a deep breath of air while they were walking through the forest. She closed her eyes and covered her face for the whole carriage ride there. She was happy to finally made it to their destination. She smelled the nature around her and it made her smile. She loved how the ray of the sun showered her with their light and warmed up her face. How the ground was uneven beneath her feet and the smell of the river being close by. She snapped out of reality once she heard Tiffany's question. "I-I didn't know what it was." She said quietly. "I felt like I was drowning. I couldn't breathe. For once I was scared a bit by water, but its all in my head."she nervously laughed with a smile. She didn't want to worry them about what had happened earlier and focus on the fun they will have.

As they walked Tiffany let her mind wander. She thought about what new comers had arrived at the castle. There were several that she saw on the way out the front doors in the foyer. An elf and two vampires among them. She would have stopped and taken the time to say hello, but she had been rather busy with other things up to this point and wanted some time to clear her head. She could hear Arnolds foot steps and knew he was there, yet still turned to see how he was fairing and smiled at him even though he couldn't see it. She listened to Arisu and nodded.
"I see. Did something happen in your past that keeps you from being able to remember it?"

Picket (blue) and Nicolai (red) With a smile and blank look on his face, Picket plummeted down to the ground from the castle window. The story of how he got into this situation was not an interesting one. He became hyper, started running around the room, couldn't slow himself down, and ended up falling out of the window. Of course, Nicolai had tried to stop him from falling out, but the werewolf was not willing to jump out a window after his friend. So, when Picket neared the ground, he took a deep breath, slowing his descent and landing lightly. However, he did not exhale, and thus bounced a little ways into the forest. When he stopped, he let out the air and looked around. "That was fun!" he exclaimed, then got himself down from the tree he had bounced into. "Where is Picket? Look like forest," he said to himself. Walking around for awhile, he managed to find a kind of road. "Maybe this lead back to castle," he said to himself, then started to follow it. (OOC: Sorry for the bad post. Bit of writer's block.)

"I don't remember." Arisu replied. She didn't quite understand what was going on herself. She looked behind her to see how far they had walked through the forest and smiled. She sniffed to air and could smell how close they are to the river. "I'll catch some fish for tonight!" She grinned. Her steps began to pick up speed as she added some skips to her step. Her hair moved with the breeze and movement as the sunlight reflected the brilliant yellowish orange color. She stopped and turned around when she was realized she had walked ahead. She grinned.

And whatever it was had the ability to wield fire in some form or another. She wanted to play it off and believe that it was simply someone from the castle, but she wanted to be sure. She looked to Arisu who had skipped ahead a bit and motioned for her to be quiet and come back to her and Arnold. She turned to Arnold, motioning him to come closer and spoke to him in his ear. "Arnold, I sense that there is someone or something near by. Even though it may just be someone from the castle, I'm still a bit weary and would appreciate it if you could go and see what it is. Do not harm it if there is no need to do so. If it wants to come back with you and you sense that it means no harm, it may come back with you. Be careful even though I have every confidence that you can handle this without breaking a sweat." Ω ZEN Ω "You haven’t failed if you still continue to try.” Ω ZEN Ω

 "Things aren't always as they seem...."
♣ He was still carrying the bag as he made his way behind the two females. The little girl was more excited about being in the forest than he could recall anyone ever being. Which said a lot about her considering that in the coach here she was as scared as a sheep in a lion's den. He almost felt pity for her. He couldn't begin to imagine why she was so frightened.
As they walked, his Mistress would occasionally look back. He might not ever look her in the eyes, but that didn't mean he couldn't see her. He kept note of everything that went on around him. Everything. Not just the two in front of him.
The trip into the woods was quiet. At least quiet to what a normal person would consider such. His ears could pick up sounds that would make most animals jealous. He could smell better than a wolf. He had eyes that were the envy of hawks. And he used all of them to his advantage.
He already knew there was someone, or something, behind them in the woods when his Mistress motioned him forward. She had mimicked his thoughts. Asking him to go find out if whatever it was turned out to be friend or foe. So without hesitation he said, "Yes, Mistress." And then he was off.
He didn't move on the road. he darted for the trees and used the forest as cover. His steps were inaudible. Even those with exceptional hearing would be hard pressed to sense him coming. He moved like the wind and made far less sound. It was graceful to watch. Like a dance among the trees, he made his way towards the castle to investigate.
He felt the presence, literally, as it began to form small prickles on his skin. However, what he saw was something all together odd. It wasn't man, nor beast. But somehow it looked as if it had come from a stock of both. The mask it wore, providing it was a mask, had a morbid cuteness to it that made Lucky mentally question himself. But he shook that off and decided that, for now, he'd watch until he was discovered.
If he was discovered.

Tiffany watched him go. It was so fast, even she had a hard time being able to see him. He was like an animal on the hunt for its prey. How he could move like that baffled her. Albeit he was able to change into different forms, but never would she have guessed that any abilities extended beyond those forms. It would be interesting to see how that played out over time. Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, she listened and waited. She hoped it was someone friendly.

Arisu turned her nose upward and started to sniff. She waved the air in front of her towards her with the movement of her hands. They had a weird scent to them and she couldn't make out what it could be. "It has a weird scent. Something is clogging my smell though." Arisu quietly said to Tiffany while clinging by her. She looked behind her just in case as well. She watched as Lucky had venture off. Her eyes widen at how fast he was, she was always impressed the more she knew of Lucky's abilities.

Picket (blue) and Nicolai (red) Walking along the dirt road happily, Picket hummed a song to himself (caramelldansen is the song). He stopped a few times, looking around as he did, then continued down the path. The reasons he kept stopped varied from an animal running by, the sound of the wind, and something being carried on the wind. He was, surprisingly, keeping himself from becoming distracted by all of the sights and sounds. However, there was something that caused him to stop and look in a specific direction. Smiling, he waved over in the general location, then continued walking. He did not see anyone, but his gut told him that there was someone there. Oddly enough, this he did on very rare occasions and the target ranged from someone following him to a plant just sitting there moving in the breeze. (OOC: Sorry for taking so long. The weather's been crazy lately.)

"What you smell very well could be sulfur Arisu. It's associated with fire sometimes. Breath the best you can. Arnold will be back shortly I'm sure."
She watched for signs of Arnold and thought at times she could pick up the magics emanating from his body, but couldn't be sure. She felt ridiculous being so on guard, but you had to be careful. This wasn't the inside of the castle. She wasn't nervous, but rather wanted to keep Arisu safe. Of course she was thinking of Arnold and herself as well, but she knew she could handle herself well enough and Arnold, despite his servitude, could as well if he needed. But Arisu was more vulnerable and she didn't want to scare her any more than she already seemed to be. Thus they waited.
