This is just a little thread I wanted to do for those that maybe want to start watching another anime or read a different manga series that maybe others might have missed (like me! I don't know every single show or comic, so let's share our secrets with the world xd ).

You can suggest both old and new, and you can base "requests" on genres (i.e. fantasy (Cardcaptors), shonen (male based like Dragon Ball Z), shojo (female based, Sailor Moon, Fruits Basket), and so on).

P.S. I like fantasy, fighting, something that has a lot of suspense (like Case Close), goth/lolita (like Bizenghast), and cute stuff. xd

Basically, Shugo Chara is about a girl named Amu Hinamori that wishes to be herself and stop living onlyon the "mask" she wears around everyone she knows. Her wish is fulfilled when three eggs appear on her bed, that latter on become these cute chibi characters of her "would be self", or someone she will one day be. It's a cutesy shojo/fantasy kind of thing, but it's also funny. 4laugh

I just finished watching it (all of it) crying I feel like Sailor Moon all over again, a sense of fleeting despair when the magic ends.... That's why I want a list of anime suggestions blaugh

I like Nadeshiko,Amu , Ikuto and Utau( mostly for the Voice... lol)

Aside from looking cute and innocent: it rarely is. This is a short, 12 episode series (some episodes are available for view in cruncyroll for free).
Story consists of these girls who are chosen by this creature (called Kyubey), to be Magical Girls or "Puella Magi". There mission is to search and destroy witches (that are the reason for making people suicidal or the cause to major accidents). A real twist to the magical girl genre, a must-see!

I'll try to make some posts for Inuyasha (since that's the only that you mentioned I know). If you are someone else would be so kind to explain the other two, that would be nice.

If for some reason you never watched Inuyasha START! Like NOW! I mean this, no joke. You can watch it for free on Hulu, no subscription required (but it's in original Japanese voice acting, it has subtitles though, trust me it's better this way). DO IT, you are seriously missing out!

About: Inuyasha is a half demon, half human guy that is in the search for the shikon jewel, a magical jewel that grants the bearer their desires. The one at first who keeps this jewel safe from the clutches of demons and humans all alike is Priestess Kikio. Inuyasha falls in love with the priestess, but one day, "betrayal" sends Kikio to the gave (have to watch series to get what I mean by "betrayal", nothing nasty you pervs). Later on, Kikio is reborn as a Japanese teenage girl by the name of Kagome. She has the strange power to go down a well in her family's shrine, which leads to the Feudal Era (where Inuyasha is), and meets the later, freeing him from a spell.

I think the bad thing about it was that it was too short.
