Biography:
He grew up on the outskirts of Claus Arbor with only his father, who had raised him since birth. Sophie's mother died of natural sicknesses when he was just a baby, and Sophie's father stepped up to take care of his son. He taught Sophie everything from mathematics and science to writing poetry and learning the arts, insistent that his son be as well educated and knowledgeable as they come. Sophisticate, to his credit, embraced both his father's determination and his love of learning, adapting easily to his single-parent life, and never craving anything more. He and his father are extremely close, and they share a love and a trust with one another that is not easily broken.

At age twenty, Sophie has grown into himself and has become more capable of his own abilities. He has stopped leaning on his father, and has learned to rely more on his own instinct and intelligence, rather than try and have his father tell him what to do. Ciaran has taught his son to be independent, and independent is what Sophie has decided to be. He no longer lives with his father, but instead resides within the bustle and entertaining chaos of the city of Moonfall. He still visits home often, however, but spends most of his time doing what he can to help those around him and to develop his own abilities further. In Sophie's mind, there is no such thing as too much learning.

Personality:
Sophisticate is a very serene man, calm and mild-mannered. He has a very dry sense of humor and a quick wit with his sharp tongue that he has spent years cultivating so that he could take any insults with a grain of salt and return them just the same. His appreciation for knowledge is shown in his intelligence - Sophisticate is very book smart, but he balances out this with his attempts at being street smart as well. He has an enigmatic, graceful personality, and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. The type of person to conceal everything about himself, he prefers to keep things inside and not reveal them, and he is not the greatest when it comes to communication over long periods of time. He is a great lover of observation, and would rather rationalize a situation than actual become entangled in it, and sometimes he thinks too highly of a situation or a person to see their faults. He has a hard time with accepting the negative aspects of certain things, but this is a work in progress that he someday hopes to rectify, since he knows it is not beneficial to anything he does.

He is neither loud, nor quiet - he is mostly in between, and rather loves conversation in all forms. Keeping a steady flow of talk makes him feel relaxed, since if left alone for too long with his own thoughts he can become too lost in them and overthink / overanalyze everything, to the point where it's dehabilitating. Sophie, at times, relies too much on knowledge and not enough on instinct, which is one of his greatest weaknesses. However, he shares a deep and rich passion for life and for magic.
