Recently we've had quite the increase in members and so the guild owner and I did some talking on things and how we think certain rules will help us all move along smoothly. These are fairly basic and designed to support all of our epic characters, from OCs to canons.


Skills

- Unique skills may not be copied or stolen from other characters, be they canon or OCs. This allows us all to keep our specialties as our own. For example, while you might have the ability to use wind, you cannot use Jin's signature 'tornado fist' attack. While you might enjoy throwing things that go boom at your enemy, you cannot summon Karasu's mad bombs. Be creative with your OCs; that's the great thing about having them.

Species

- We've had quite the increase in kitsune and kitsune mix breeds lately, so to allow for diversity we request as of this post, all new characters are not kitsune or kitsune mixes. There are vast amounts of fascinating monster creatures in Japanese folklore. If you need some inspiration, this might help. If you have a similar list of creature types that could help inspire people upon character creation, please PM them to me.

- Extremely rare creatures should remain as such. Please do not pop in with a Mazoku (such as Yusuke Urameshi's hidden demon blood) or Imiko (Koorime child born male). Likewise, if you want to create a very rare species type, please discuss it with us so that we can make sure things fit with the group and that your character's uniqueness remains safe.

1.Profile edits:
As the number of profile edits requests have increased in the past days,it's been decided that once you submit your character/s,please don't request for edits.
We simply don't have the time to keep editing stuff about characters.
Also,changing information about your characters after starting to roleplay may cause confusion,so please avoid this.
I insist, before posting your profile,make sure you have included EVERYTHING you wanted to add about your character. If needed ,double check,triple check etc.
If you really have something important to add,and it is CRUCIAL (that meaning,your character's plot could be compromised without that detail) then there will be exceptions and that certain detail will be added.

2. The maximum number of OCs :
As for now,it has been decided that the maximum number of OCs you may submit is 2.
Please stick to this rule!
Reasons why this rule is needed: To keep things simple and orderly.
We can foresee that things will get seriously tangled if everyone would submit God knows how many OCs.
Please avoid that unless your main OC needs a supporting OC that would complete his plot or anything like that.


3. Cannon characters:
Once you decide on playing a cannon character,please stick to him.
If you can't do so,please don't apply for him.
It is pretty hard to get one of the main characters,as they represent the core of the roleplay.
This matter should be treated seriously.

In order to make things a tad more interesting and stay true to the location of the tournament, characters are encouraged to take on minor Yokai OCs that you may use to beat the crap out,or have your character get into trouble.
You don't have to submit anything about that yokai thing,just a little description would be sufficient.

Because,let's face it, this is Makai,and the place is surely abundant with those annoying low class demons who want to cause mischief.

It is enough for one character to describe a fight in case he was the sole participant to the showdown (aside form the oc character) or if there are more then one participant,then share to poor creature as a beating sack (or not..in case he's too strong and you actually need the help of someone to beat him up o_o )
Either one of that. Most of those creature will tend to show up on the training ground......as it is a training ground after all......


(kind of makes me think of a pokemon game..with all the pokemon in the bushes and stuff........)
