The room was colder the usual causing the walls to be covered in a light coat of frost which gave a brilliant sparkle in the correct lighting. Darion slowly got up with a light coat of frost on his body that didn't seem to bother him. He slid across the floor on his bare feet towards the door. He reached for the doorknob and could feel the temperature drop as he got closed to it. He opened the door just to see a frozen environment. Darion's tired expression slowly turned to a face of joy. He had to be dreaming, but when he put his foot on the floor outside he knew he wasn't. Darion grinned as he walked out side of his room and closed the door behind him. He quickly wanted to explore the rest of the area to see if everything else was frozen.

Darion slowly woke up from his cold bed, he rose out of bed covered in sparkling frost. He put his feet at the end of his bed and rubbed his eyes as he yawned.
He stood up and got his balance. He slowly woke up and shook his head. He walked towards his dresser and got his clothes.He slowly got dressed and he slowly woke up with every muscle movement. As he finished putting his clothes on, Darion was wide awake. Darion opened up the door to outside and noticed everything was back to normal. Darion sighed as he headed towards the training room to see if there was anything he could learn.

It wasn't long before Ignis found the dorm room and immediately she was already displeased. Before she even opened the door she could feel a cool draft coming from out under the cracks of the door. Someone must have liked it cold in there, a situation that she would quickly rectify. Regardless, without any fear (and without knocking for that matter), Ignis put the key into the doorknob, twisted it, and opened the door.
Oh yeah, she had to do something about this. Who the ******** lived like this? It was a goddamn igloo! There was frost on the walls and the entire place was freezing. She looked around, observing the room, there was definitely signs of recent activity here, suggesting someone indeed just gained a roommate. He wasn't the tidiest either, she thought it was a he, cause the clothes she found were definitely that of a males. That definitely made her unhappy, she hated men...in general. It wasn't a hidden hatred either, she flat out would not tolerate their presence around her if she was in a bitchy mood...and god forbid if a man ever touched her...that last time that happened, an entire building was burnt to the ground. The thought of burning his clothes and watching his reaction as he came back to his dorm realizing he had no more clothes put a smile on her face. But then again, thinking about burning whoever lived in this room made her smile more.
Immediately she attempted to locate the thermostat, but when she found it, she was distraught. It was broken, set permanently on cold. No...just no. Ignis found her first target, the bloody air conditioner of the building. But first and foremost she began setting up her belongings in the opposite bed. Taking out her belonging, she started to hang what little clothes she had in the opposite closet. With that done, she at least tried to make it bearable by taking out a whole bunch of candles from her pack. Normally, a person wouldn't carry candles in a bag, but she was Ignis, she loved anything that could produce fire. So she began to set up candles all around the room.
After she was done, she was definitely slightly more pleased. Granted it was still cold as balls in there but at least there as a presence of flame in the room. She smiled as the flames against he wall started to melt what frost was nearby into tiny droplets of water. She would have some cleaning to do later but for now all she wanted to do was get this place warmed up.

Looking around the room, Ignis searched for the air conditioning unit. She had enough of the damn ice in here, she would make this place into a sauna when she was through with this place. Walking up and down the room, she looked under every nook and cranny for the unit making that damned cold air. And finally she found it, it was tucked away in Darion's closet, a mechanical unit stuck to the wall making a slight whirling sound. Immediately, Ignis began kicking it as hard as she can, bending the metal. The metal began catching the blades in the air conditioner, so the fan blades began ripping apart the unit.
The sweet satisfying sounds of the air unit dying was like music to her ears. Going to up to one of the vents on the ceiling, she put her hand up and smiled as she failed to feel any air coming out. Already could she feel the heat coming off of her candles warming up the room. It would take some time, but Ignis was confident that the room would return to normal temperature.
Hearing a knock at the door, Ignis raised an eyebrow and went to the door, opening it up. No one was there, what was there however was a box labeled Gene-X. Ignis smiled, the fools, they just handed her the tool that would help her kill of all of humanity. With a twisted face of evil, Ignis took the box, shut the door behind her, and sat on the bed. She prepared herself for the task at hand.

With the room warming up, Ignis opened the box and found a syringe inside. Before taking it, Ignis caught side of text on the box. On it was a disclaimer, first telling her the name of the Gene she was injecting in herself, and second it listed all the side effects. Vomiting, unconsciousness, temporary amnesia, fever, etc. It was all stuff Ignis could handle, she had been though worse. Most people would be worried about sticking such a large needle in their skin, but Ignis did it without hesitation...she did have a tendency to act upon thinking, but at that time, she was more worried about what kind of cool s**t this gene would give her once she used it.
Immediately stabbing the needle into her arm with a crazed look in her eyes, the liquid seeped into her bloodstream. At first she thought it didn't work. Nothing happened, but then, before she knew it, she fell backwards onto her bed unconscious. Lucky for her, it was getting to be night time so the timing couldn't have been better.

Ignis awoke the next morning in incredible agonizing pain. Gasping with pain, she flipped herself out of the bed and onto the floor, breathing heavily. Her entire body felt like it was on flames. It was strange, and unusual because Ignis had been so used to feeling the temperature of fire, but this time the fire seemed to becoming from inside of her. She needed water, and she needed water fast...a thought she believed to never even think of in her life. So with desperate moans, she slowly crawled on the floor like a worm, heading towards the bathroom sink.
It felt like a lifetime to Ignis, crawling over to the sink like that to gulp down one of the things she hated most. With her insides still burning like the devil decided to take residence within her body, she finally got to the sink, picked herself up and turned on the faucet, sticking her head underneath the pouring water. It was helping a little....and then she started to feel something rush up from her throat. QUickly she got the toilet and vomited....and there she stayed for the next four hours, drinking water and vomiting. Drinking water to reduce the pain, vomiting so she wouldn't make a mess. She thought it would never end.
But end it did after 4 hours, and once she realized the vomiting stopped, Ignis drug herself over to the bed, the feeling inside her body calming down, it still hurt, but it was nowhere near as bed. She layed down and stared at the ceiling thinking, "Ya....been through worse". In her head she began concocting up a plan to burn alive whoever made the side effects of the drug this way.

It was the next day when Ignis woke up on her bed. She didn't feel nearly as bad but she still felt like someone dipped her in lava. Putting her hand up against her head she could definitely tell she had a very high fever. She also noticed something peculiar, her skin was giving off alot of heat...so much in fact that air around her skin was being distorted by the very heat it gave off. Was this the power she was looking for beginning to manifest. Ignis hoped so, she would hate if this was all a waste of time, and she was pretty sure the people who made her take this drug would hate it to as Ignis planned to burn them all at the stake.
Despite this, Ignis could still move, so she did all the things that she wasn't able to do the day before. She ate breakfast, took a shower, cleaned up the melted water off the floor (she was a bit surprised that her doomed roommate hadn't walked in yet..he must be busy somewhere...or if she was lucky..dead), did her laundry, unpacked and just spent the rest of the day in her bed, waiting for the side effects of the Gene-X to pass. Everything was getting better ever since she took the Gene..so she was sure that the side effects would be all but spent the next day. She certainly hoped so, she couldn't wait to put her new powers to action...if she even got any new powers.

It was a new day and Ignis was feeling much better. Granted she still had a fever, heat was still emanating from her skin, and the room was a little bit hotter than she was comfortable with, but everything seemed jiffy. She was definitely glad that her gamble paid off and the drug didn't kill her. Now it was time to see if anything resulted from her suffering. She noticed on the box that the Gene-X said Hell's Grasp...she knew it had something to do with fire, but what were the details?
She was determined to find out. Picking up her bag, and gathering the few belongings she always carries with her, Ignis decided to head off to the school library. Picking up a map of the campus which she studied extensively while in bed yesterday, Ignis decided to do some book work on her Gene. She always loved books. They were so filled with knowledge, but the best of all, they burned so easily. Maybe she would burn down the library when she got what she needed.

Darion looked at the bedroom door and smiled, it was good to be back."Home sweet home." He said happily as he grabbed the door knob, then suddenly almost instantly his face looked angered. The doorknob was no longer ice cold to the touch. He opened the room and gasped in sorrow. The room was completely thawed out, and it smelt like candle wicks."What the ********> Darion stepped inside and opened the closet to see female clothing in it. He ran to his closet and checked on his air conditioning unit, it was completely destroyed. Darion glared at the other closet. Darion took the female clothing and threw them all over the floor. He then walked to the bathroom and plugged the sink and tub. Darion turned the cold water full blast and began flooding the room. Quickly the water covered the girl's clothes . Once the ground was flooded he stopped all the water. he put his finger in the water and froze everything that was wet. The girl's clothes were stuck under a thick layer of ice. Darion quickly then washed himself up and changed his clothes.
He then left for the library. Enter/ exit

Ignis returned from her silent reading session on the school rooftop to the door leading to her new room, but as soon as she stepped inside, her foot stepped on a piece of parchment. Quizzically she raised an eyebrow, it appeared to be a letter when she looked down, so bending over, she picked it up and read it.
Strange, it seemed to be a notice from the school's administrative office that she had been assigned a new room. Not like she cared, she had barely even got to stay and get comfy in her now former room. Plus she wasn't necessarily to keen on meeting a room-mate that liked the room THAT cold. So shrugging her shoulder, Ignis took the key that was attached to the letter, and shoved both the items in her side pocket, and began to turn the doorknob to retrieve her stuff.
Oh yes, she was definitely glad to be changing rooms cause if she didn't, there would be a major personality conflict. The entire room was frozen again, and cold as hell frozen over. Well more specifically the floor was frozen, but she soon quickly found out that her clothes were caught underneath ice.
"So this ******** wants to have a pissing match does he"? She thought while thawing out her clothes with her lighter...."Well two can play at that game, lets see how he likes his entire room burned to the ground". It took her awhile, but she was able to get her clothes and belongings out from under the ice, and before she leaved, she made sure to leave her unknown roomie a goodbye present.
Going over to the window of the room, she softly touched the material of the curtains. Whatever it was made out of, she knew it would be easily burned. Taking out her lighter, she flicked open the flame, set it against the curtains, and wouldn't you know it...the curtains lit up like a Christmas tree. The sound of a raging fire was music to her ears as she began looking around the room, watching with pleasure as the ice began to melt once more. She did the same with the blankets and his clothing...basically anything she get her hands on that was flammable. So with twisted glee she took her belongings, and stepped out of the room, slamming the door shut behind her as a raging inferno began to burn all within Darion's room.((EXIT))

Darion whistled as he opened the door to his room, as he opened the door the smell of smoke stained the room. The sheets, blankets, curtains and his clothes were burned to ashes. He looked unamused as he walked into the room. Luckily he hid some of his clothes under his bed. He quickly swept up the ashes and scrubbed the burn marks on the walls. He then noticed the girls clothes were removed from the room, but that wasn't good enough. This was an act of war to him. Darion would check in with the front desk to see who was bunked with him. Darion sat down on the bed to relax.

Jack walked up to his new room. It wasn't hard to find considering it was right next to his old room. Knocking on the door with all of his belongings in hand, Jack waited for anyone to answer.

Darion heard the knocking and got up to opened the door. Darion opened the door and to his surprise it was Jack."Let me guess, you just can't get enough of me?" He joked as he leaned on the door Darion looked at Jack's stuff and looked back at him."You're my new roommate?" Darion ask as he stood up straight.
