Shotlock


What is Shotlock you ask? Well it's a special combat technique that allows a fighter to fire a barrage of magic at one or more enemies. While it's very useful to use when fighting against several Heartless, Nobody, and Unversed, it can be draining.

So.. How do you use Shotlock? Well allow me to explain it to you.

First you must go to the Post Action drop down list and select Random Number.

Then two blank spots will appear below. Put the number 1 in the (lowest) area and 15 in the (highest) area.

Then in your post put "Rolling" and hit post.

At the top of your post you will see what number you got. Then all you have to do is edit your post to type in your reply.

I will provide an example below to show you how your post should look if you followed the directions correctly.. and remember Don't even think about deleting your post if you aren't satisfied with your result number. It will result in the immediate removal of your post.

Anyway~. Before you is the list of available Shotlock commands except for the ones under Locked.

Pulse Bomb: Launch energy blasts from the tip of your Keyblade and bombard targets with a series of small explosions.
Prism Rain: Launch a salvo of rainbow-colored orbs.
Photon Charge: Rush targets repeatedly and attack with the power of light.
Absolute Zero: Cloak yourself in ice and rush targets repeatedly.
Lightning Ray: Rush targets repeatedly with lightning speed.
Sonic Shadow: Become one with the shadows and rush targets repeatedly, blinding the enemies you hit.

As you may have noticed some of those Shotlock come with effects attached to them. Well for those of you who picked one of those there is one more step to complete your Shotlock attack.

Go to the OOC
Select Post Action and Random Number

Then type in the numbers 1 and 4. If you roll a 1 then feel proud! You got to effect your targets. If not then.. Well at least you got to lay on some hurt right?

Summon Gems

What is a Summon Gem? When a world is lost to the darkness sometimes there is a denizen that had a will strong enough to not vanish with the other inhabitants. Those rare few turn into a Summon Gem that houses their spirit and when they are called upon then they can assist their summoner.

How do you get a Summon Gem you ask?

Summon Gems can be found anywhere but you can only get a Summon Gem if it's listed as a reward or if your character receives one in-roleplay from a character of Yokoalchemist's or a crew she has given permission to. YOU CAN NOT GIVE YOURSELF A SUMMON GEM. If you try to make your character randomly find one then your post will be deleted and you will be unable to have a Summon Gem for some time.

How does the Summon Gem work?

When in battle you can summon the spirit within without wasting a turn. (Meaning you can summon the spirit and still attack) Though.. When you first use your Summon Spirit your companion can only last for 2 posts. When you use your spirit more often you have the chance to level them up, making them able to stay around longer. When out of battle you can summon your spirit without fear of the posting limit if you feel the need to let your character converse and connect with the spirit.

What do I do when I get the Summon Spirit in-roleplay?

What you do is fill out the form you see below and send it to me in a PM before you use it in the roleplay. Once you get the approval you get to use your Summon Spirit to your heart's content.. Except you have to follow the rules, like the post limit in-battle.

How do our Summon Gems get stronger?

At the end of a mission or major battle, if you used your spirit and let it be of great assistance then there is a chance it will level up. If it does when I will post saying so.

Can we have more than one Summon Gem?

Maybe, it all depends on how missions go and how the story goes.
