It hadn't been long since Jove returned to the academy. While other students went about their Scarentines plans, the little pup still had a bad case of the jitters after all the crazy things he saw during his brief 'captivity'. Once he had time to unwind and think it through, every last frightening thing came back. He could have been killed out there, or worse, turned into a weapon had the hunters actually found out what he was.
So when he woke up in his room with an odd feeling in his chest, the pup's immediately began to worry. Was he ill? Did they do something to him when they brought him back to the kitchen?
Scrambling up he dressed in the closest clothes at hand, a new outfit in his usual style made to fit his taller, sixteen year old form. And it was easier to take that shape than go hunting for his kid-clothes, so in seconds he was out the door in bare feet, a pair of simple dark trousers, white shirt, and was half-way through putting on his coat when he realized there were a few people who were even closer than his brother. Tybalt's room, in particular, was just down the hall.
With a frantic rap on the door, he let out a whine and let his coat drop to the floor. Was the black dog even in?

Despite the hour of the day, Tybalt had been comfortably snuggled into his blankets and resting by the time he heard the frantic knock at the door. Which, normally he would have chose to ignore this, given the fact that he was quite happy where he was. Then again, going by the likelihood of some random person knocking at his door, the chances were slim. He barely got 'company' and never any random student. He only hoped it wasn't Ren pissed off about puppies or something.
With an audible groan, the black dog rolled out of bed, keeping his blankets tightly wrapped around him as he shuffled towards the door. If it was the gryphon, he was punching him and going back to sleep.
"What?" He growled out and immediately put the back of his hands against this eyes. The light was bright, not to mention it making him see things. He could have sworn Jove had just grown a few feet.
Only it wasn't a trick of the light. The moment he removed his hands, there he was. Standing at almost the same height as the black dog--maybe even a little taller and very much real.
"What the Jack..?" He blinked a few times and shook his head. "I never knew Jove had an older brother..." He mumbled and turned to look--or stare at Jove's older clone.

The nervous sensation twisted and knotted in the little pup's belly as he waited for some indication Tybalt was in, and then his ears flicked forward quickly at the sounds from inside the room. He whined anxiously. As just a little puppy, he looked up to Tybalt almost as much as he looked up to his brother, as a larger, scarier role model of what a ghostly hound should be like. And at that moment in time, it seemed inconceivable that the black dog wouldn't be able to help him.
And then the black dog opened the door, but Tybalt wasn't given much time to stare. In his confused, unnatural state of being, Jove's expression of relief was to wrap his arms around Tybalt's neck in a grateful way, and then... kiss him. Right on the lips, open-mouth and all just like he had once kissed Demi in the library. That time he had been goaded into it, accused of being afraid, and kissing like a little kid, but this? There was no logical reason for this one.

Tybalt was confused when Jove wrapped his arms around his neck. The fact that Jove didn't look like Jove didn't help matters much. It didn't even occur to the black dog that this was Jove's ability to manipulate his appearance. For all he knew, this was some random stranger who had an uncanny resemblance to the small wisp. Though before he could peel the other boil's arms off from around his neck, the wisp moved in, without warning, and kissed him directly on the mouth, leaving the black dog both rigid, and too stunned to say anything.
Finally, after what seemed like hours, Tybalt managed to regain enough brain fuction to pull away and stare wide eyed at Jove. This lasted for maybe a minute, before he backed up a step, closed the door, blinked a few times and opened it again to see if he was hallucinating.
He wasn't.
"Wha..?"

Jove felt Tybalt freeze, and a part of his own mind was starting to panic. Ohjack, he had... he was... kissing the black dog, really kissing him. If either of them had cooties, they were both doomed.
The withdraw was almost simultaneous on Jove's side as well, he jumped back as though startled himself, his ears flat, expression shocked with a hint of woozy confusion. What was wrong with him? He stared back in silence, and then... Tybalt closed the door on him. He had done it, went and ruined things, why couldn't he just ask for help like any normal kid instead of being a BADDOG and kis-
Suddenly the door was opened again, and Jove had no clue what to think. It surely didn't occur to him to explain the situation right then, so he just let out a plaintive whine.

If it was one thing that clued the black dog into thinking that this was Jove, it was the lack of speech and that familiar whine. Though even the whine sounded more mature now that his form was taller.
"J-Jove..?" Holy crap, looking at him now that he was more awake, it really was Jove. Had he really hit a growth spurt or something? Or was he a victim of one of Professor Norvie's potion experiments..? And what the hell was that kiss all about?
Tybalt's head felt like it was going to split in two. So many questions, and no answers whatsoever. He wasn't likely to get one either. Not from Jove anyways. Well... there was one person who might know what was going on and as much as he'd rather not ask this particular gryphon, he really wanted some questions answered.
"Err one moment..." He said, before disappearing into his room to find his phone.
Like it or not, Ren was probably the only one who could get an answer out of Jove. But this was Ren... and considering how much they hated each other, he was going to have to ask nicely.kuromeez Text: Ren! Get your a** over to the ghost dorms and figure out what's going on with Jove, please! At least he said please.

Tybalt didn't look very happy, and Jove began to wonder if it was a good thing the door had opened up again. He whined. The black dog hadn't invited him in, and he was loathe to just enter the room without an invitation, so the pup decided the best thing to do was to just go back to his own room and try and puzzle things out.
Turning on his tail, he began to trot back to his room. At least there wouldn't be anyone to see his awful blushing under his bed!
