Enekpe had had quite a day so far, from strange dreams to getting lost in the library, to finding (or being found, more accurately) by a friend who was much bigger than the last time she'd seen him, to making a discovery of some potentially useful information. It was all very exciting!

'Riding' happily in Akakios' arms, she called out for Silence - having absolutely no idea where he was, since she'd gotten herself very lost and turned around earlier - as they went along. "Endi~!" she called as loudly as a little pooka could, apparently unaware that libraries were generally supposed to be quiet places. "Where did you go? I found Kios, and we found something!"

Hrn.

At any rate, Akakios was walking a slow pace, leaving the calling to Enkepe while he looked around for signs of pale white skin and barely-there wings.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Endiovar actually had been digging through some of the books and tomes, looking for some information on Kikechum's Tympanum. Sure, they were supposed to be going over these things together, but since he was there anyway, he'd just gotten started a little bit early. That was all.

The Silent god came forward, four weighty volumes floating behind him as though an invisible being held them; "Well now, it seems that we have all been quite busy, have we not?" Endiovar smiled brightly at his friends - for both were well aquainted with him in various ways that generally speaking, meant friendship. 'I take it you've found something to please the Lady Kikechum?' Whatever they knew, he did so want to hear it, perhaps it was much more interesting than the slim mentionings that might be within the four tomes he carried - the mentions could have been regarding Kikechum's Bestial Tympanum...or they could have been about some other God/Goddess' enchanted drum-like thing(s).

'I cannot wait to hear what you have found.'

"Kios is big!" was the first 'discovery' En had made that she told Silence about, regardless of the fact that Akakios' grown-upness was pretty obvious. "We did," she answered then, "About Dactyls and a mountain and treasure and a lion! Show him~"

It was only after spouting all this out that En really noticed the floating books, and her jaw dropped and she stared in wonder. That was awesome!

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Okay, the floating book thing ? Was awesome. And he wanted to learn how to do it. He wanted to learn how to do it now. Poor Silence, as always assaulted by Akakios' questions, both the said and unsaid ones. Now wasn't really the time, through - they had information to share, didn't they ?

He didn't bother pointing out to En that Endiovar had already known about him being 'big', through there was quiet amusement radiating from the young god at the fact.

With pooka carefully balanced on one arm, he held out the other, sheet of paper in hand, to the pale god. "I didn't want to carry the book all over the place, but I found this. k**e remembered something from it..."

Click to show.Enekpe's 'discovery' announced brought an appreciative sound from Silence, though he had known of Kios' growth for some time now; En didn't know that, nor did he feel like dampening her cheery spirits when playing along was just as easily done and allowed the tiny Pooka the pleasure of her discovery. Interesting things came from the small creature's mouth after her statement about their companion; things that didn't make a lot of sense out of context, but did make some sense with the texts he'd been reading and researching himself -- they had found quite the tidbit, hadn't they?

'I will happily instruct you when time is less pressing, my young friend.' Endiovar addressed the youth's wont to be able to manipulate mana for the purpose of floating objects - like those books - behind or around himself even as he was reaching for the sheet of paper that was being offered for his perusal.

"Yes, yes...this all seems accurate against what I've found." One of the four floating books left it's 'friends', coming forward as the other three left - no doubt returning to where they had been pulled from; after reading the note about the Dactyls, the Leonine Aoide and that strange place, Mt. Agdistis, Silence well knew only one of the four had anything to do with Kikechum's Tympanum. The shifted as it moved, so that En and Kios could see the information held within it's softly fluttering pages as invisible hands sought the proper section(s).

'There is mention here about the mountain your tome referenced...' Oh yes, there it was. "Upon Mt. Agdistis there is said to be many caves and caverns...one of these blessed by 'the bloodlines of the proud', guarded by guardians 10 in number..." Endiovar read part of it, then offered the book to Akakios and the Pooka-with-Goddess.

Magic books~! These had officially become the coolest books Enekpe had ever seen, although that probably wasn't saying much, considering she couldn't read. Nonetheless, she peered at the book Endi brought forward for them to see.

"Soo...where is this mountain, anyway?" She really hoped it wasn't far!

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Lament did nod at Endiovar's unsaid statement - he certainly now had the maturity to realize that there were much more important things at hand.

Through he did wonder, for a moment, if books were the only thing that could be handled in such a way. The curious gaze he gave to the tiny little ball of fluff as he re-positioned himself to hold her was quite telling of his intentions. Not that he minded holding the pooka like most might have held a cat, no, but because she would probably get such a kick out of it ! She was probably lighter than those books, anyway.

"We didn't find any mention of which world the mountain was in the bestiary." Akakios seemed to have little trouble reading the text and talking at the same time, clearly used to such multitasking. "We should look for that next, maybe ?"

And after that ? Well, En didn't plan to go alone, did she ? There were so many things that would probably try to eat her !

Click to show."I have not found mention of Mount Agdistis' location in these tomes either...but there are certainly maps available for some of the worlds...some of the geographical texts may have mention as well." But what if they didn't? What was the next step should they be unable to figure out which world held the mountain and it's caverns? Endiovar soundlessly tapped his sandaled feet against the Library's flooring for a moment, deep in thought.

'I wonder...perhaps one of those alive during the Pre-Fading times would have some idea as to where the Lady's stronghold is located.' Xedre. Harmodius. What of Aris? He may know, if he could remember clearly that far back, but whom to ask first?

Silence stopped tapping his foot and looked over his two companions and the books that were around them as a thought slowly bloomed within his mind, "Perhaps...Idhren would know. She has spent nearly as much time here as any other. She aided me during my quest to find Hue." A quest that had required him to find a map leading to the location of the Silent Forest - similar to their current situation, needing to find where - and in which world - Enekpe and Kikechum would need to visit to complete their quest.

If Enekpe had known what Akakios was thinking in regards to levitating objects - or pooka! - she would absolutely have demanded that they try, and probably gotten very distracted from their little mission. But, since she didn't, they were safe from having to handle a sidetracked pooka.

"Idhren?" En tilted her head. "Do you know where she is? We should ask her, if you think she'll know!"

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Idhren ? Oh !

"Yes, I've met her." He nodded. Through that was when he had still been small. "She would... probably be very surprised to see me like this." He admitted, a little sheepish. Really, mortals always seemed really confused when they noticed how fast he had... well, changed.

Alive in the pre-fading times, through ? "You mean Harmodius ? He would probably know, would he not ?" Through he'd heard Creation was still resting, recovering from remaking the sky.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. The Silence God smiled at his companions; "I believe that she would be most surprised to see you, yes. She was surprised to see me after I changed...I had not seen her for a very long time at that point." He paused a bit, thinking that perhaps Idhren would be more settled now than before; she was, after all, the host to Tilion. The Sleeping Moon.

'Harmodius, Xedre the Aoide. Aris may also have access to such memories. There are few still alive that can reach so far back within their memories. Any would be helpful, but yes...Harmodius may be the best option.'

While he was speaking, one of the floating tomes disappeared back to where it belonged, no longer needed.

"Ooh, Harmodius!" Enekpe came to attention at the mention of the rainbow-haired god, her fluffy tail wagging. "Yes! We can go and visit, can't we?" She hadn't seen him in quite awhile, not since that day with Laurence and James and that big ugly god-dog-thing, which was sad, because she liked him. He was full of magic and sheer awesome.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show."Hm." That was a good idea, really. "Maybe the both of you can go ask him, and I will keep on looking here just in case I find something." It might be best not to overhelm Harmodius, if he was still recovering. And there were likely more to find here, if someone looked hard enough - and he would be able to find it. Why not ? He had spent so much time in here !

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Endiovar could not but smile at Enekpe's cheerful chirruping when Harmodius was mentioned; that adorably fluffy tail going a happy pace as she wiggled and brightened. Creation had that effect on others. Hell, He had that effect on him, truth be told.

"Of course we can, Enekpe." Like he'd say no to visiting his dear, dear Creation, ha! Akakios volunteered to stay behind whilst they went to seek council from Creation; it was a good idea. One of them should remain to continue searching the Library. Although they had been scouring the shelves for some time by that point, it didn't mean that there weren't still tomes to be found, information to be gathered from the renewed pages. 'That's a wonderful idea, Akakios. Thank you for volunteering...if anyone is going to find further information here, it would be you.'

He meant it, too. Kios had been such a help with fixing the Library back up...never mind that he had done a great deal of re-scribing the crumbling, rotting tomes and maps.
