The lights go out throughout the arena. As Awake and Alive begins to play, blinding white lights flash in tune to the orchestral opening of the music, as Jimmy Monera steps out onto the ramp, the sparkles of his emblazoned white jacket reflecting each brilliant flash. Behind him, Nathalie Roth steps out, enthusiastically holding Jimmy's half of the WWF tag titles up in the air for the world to see.
He motions the cross on his chest, and hold out his arms to the audience, who to this day have not decided whether to love him or hate him.

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Detroit, Michigan, weighing in at 218 lbs, he is one half of the WWF tag team champions, Jimmy 'The Avatar' Monera!"

Jimmy climbs in under the bottom rope, skipping his usual kiss with Nathalie. He crosses the ring, climbs up onto a titantron, and motions the cross one more time, before whipping off his coat, tossing it to a stage-hand, and moving back to the center of the ring, where he awaits his opponent for the night.

As the bell rings, Jimmy tries to take the early advantage by aiming a stomping kick at Jarel's right knee.

((Wait, so does that mean that the kick connects, but I take a punch at the same time?))

Jimmy had been so focused on doing early damage to the bigger man's knee that he hadn't even seen the punch to his jaw coming. It connects, sending him back a few yards, rubbing it in a daze.

As Jarel's closing in on Jimmy to perform a series of body punches, Jimmy waits until he's almost in range to do so, and then attempts a roundhouse kick to the larger man's left kidney.

Seeing Jarel stumble back, Jimmy moves in, and aims a dropkick at his head.

Swiftly getting back up from his dropkick, Jimmy rushes over to Jarel, and attempts to Irish whip him into the opposite ropes. If it works, he'll attempt a drop toe hold on the rebound.
