Roch still wasn't back. Rikki still wasn't back. As much as she wanted to be upset and shake some more, she was just too ...
Bored.
BOREDDDDDD.
Danny could've shot a gun at the wall she was so bored. Maybe Michi wouldn't be busy. It was always really weird remembering that she could meet Michi in real life and not just on the hexbox now.
So Danny went down to her dorm and knocked (pounded) on the door. "Michi are you there? I'm booooored."

Michi had been minding her own business for the afternoon. The hexbox was off, her undone homework shoved in the corner of her desk. She had music lightly playing and she was flipping through the pages of a recent magazine while lying on her bed. A little bored, but over all thinking on one major important thing.
Scaringtons was coming up. She needed an outfit, and hopefully a date for this whole thing. The red skinned ghoul was flipping through it all, hoping to get inspired by something or other that would jump out at her when there was a sudden pounding on her door and a voice that came through claiming how bored someone was. Michi knew that voice well.
With a grin the demoness bounded up and opened her dorm room door. There was her best gal pal Danny. She stepped aside and opened the door wider so that the fire demoness could come through.
"I'm pretty bored too. But I'm looking for Scaringtons stuff. Wanna help?"

Danny's head tilted slightly, confused. "Scarington's? You mean Scaretines?" She crossed her arms lightly. She really didn't like Scaretines. It was so lovey-dovey (which, hey, if you noticed, she wasn't feeling too hot on) and ... all of the pink. The pink and the red and black and aughhhh.
Still, Danny couldn't deny that Michi's voice was sounding exceptionally silky today. She found herself being persuaded, because it meant spending more time with Michi. Plus, she was still incredibly bored.
"Sureeee," Danny purred as she walked in the door. Jack she loved Michi's room. All smokey and warm. Mmmmm. "What're we looking for?"

As Danny passed Michi to walk in, the red skinned ghoul felt... funny. This wasn't a feeling she had ever felt before. It was warm, and building inside of her. She gulped air for a second, and slid the door close behind them.
"Yeah, that's what I mean. I just... skipped over my words for no reason!" Really though, what was going on?? The demoness skipped over to the bed and tried to go back to her magazines. But her bright eyes kept wandering back to Danny... and her chest.
"A dress! I need something pretty to wear that day. Have you picked anything out yet?" A beautiful black dress... would look smashing on Danny. She had such a figure. Oddly, Michi wasn't jealous right then. Nope, she was staring at the gal like any other normal boil would.

"Nope," Danny replied simply and succinctly. Well that wasn't all correct. She had a few "ravishing" dresses from her mother stored up in her closet, as well as a few that she herself liked, but that wasn't the purpose of her statement.
She elaborated, "'Cause I'm not going." After that, Danny fell a tad silent, letting the subject drop. She was quite adamant about this. Scarentines was shaping up to be a big heartache for her, and- like her usual runner self- she was avoiding it. Danny was probably going to spend the entire day in her dorm just ... doing a whole lot of nothing.
Still, she wanted to help Michi. "What kind of dress are you looking for though?" Not that Danny knew the first place to begin. She was just making conversation because the idea of going back to her dorm seemed excruciating right now.

"A little black dress!" It was a horrible thing to Michi that her friend wasn't going to the dance. It would be lonely without her presence there... or something like that. The red skinned ghoul thought that a little black dress would be wonderful on Danny. Something low cut and pretty.
"I don't have your figure though, so I should probably pick something else out. You'd look wonderful in some of these," she held the magazine out to her female friend to take a look at.
"Are you not going because you don't have a date or something?" Michi was going stag as well. She hadn't met anyone she was sure would be going by themselves, and frankly she wasn't going to ask Alexander back out. These things were supposed to be like dates, right?

Danny blushed a little at Michi complimenting her figure. That was weird. Normally she never cared about her own figure- she didn't care about anything that had to do with her body other than keeping it in shape. "Fashion" and "appearance" meant nothing in Danny's little head.
"Uhhh no," she said, using her hand to lower Michi's magazine while she responded to her question. "I'm just ... um. I don't like the color pink!" Lies and excuses.
Besides, even if she was going, it wasn't like it mattered to her who she went with. Friends were friends. Romance wasn't even in the picture for Danny. These things weren't supposed to be dates, right?

"Oh well, that's too bad! I was hoping you'd come with me!" Her tone was saying friendly, and everything else said not. Michi was having a really hard time keeping her eye balls on the dresses. She really thought Danny was pretty, and was admiring her, with this feeling still building inside of her. WHAT WAS THIS?!?
"I'm going alone, and I think it's going to be really boring with all the couples roaming around. So I was really hoping you'd go with me." Well, this was all rather on the spot. Michi had kind of been hoping to ask that one boil from her party out... but that didn't seem like it was happening! Oh well. This was happening now!! She looked up at Danny and pouted, hoping to change the firey demoness' mind.

"Welll..." Danny drawled. Wait, what was she saying? Just because Michi was looking extra pretty today, and had the silkiest voice in the world didn't mean she was going!
Danny shook her head. "Uhhh- let's go to the maul and look for dresses?" she said, attempting to change the subject. Danny really, really didn't want to go to Scarentines. Not when it meant she might have to watch Rikki dance with another-
Nope, stopping that line of thought right now. Danny turned around and started heading for the door. It was a good thing she was all dressed for success in a tanktop and shorts. Flip flops too! She was raring to go, and already half way out the door.

"Yeah! Let's go!" Michi wasted no time in hopping up to follow her friend out the door. This room was too warm, and too stifling. Going to the maul was bound to help her clear her head, and maybe find a good dress for the event too!

It didn't take them long to get to the maul. She felt extremely better already, and was grinning ear to ear at the thought of finding a dress just for her. The red skinned ghoul dragged her friend to the dress store and started to look through things.
"Ya know, maybe a black dress isn't the way to go for me. Maybe I should get a deep, chocolate brown one. What do you think?" She held up one such kind of fabric to her red toned skin and held it out for Danny to see.

Once dragged in the dress store, Danny stared at the dress Michi was holding up.
What in the world was she supposed to say??? Danny didn't have the first CLUE about fashion, let alone what looked nice on her friend! As for what was going on internally? Well ... her brain was having a moment.
"Um. That looks. Good?" she stuttered out. Seriously, she had no idea. What. Waaaat.

Michi had no clue that she had picked the wrong person to go dress shopping with. Honestly, the demoness thought that most ghouls would know things about fashion, right? It was probably a good thing that Michi was on the up and up herself, and knew that deep browns would typically go well with reds. Brought out the color and all that jazz.
She just smiled and started looking through the darker brown dresses on the racks. So many choices, so little time!!
"So do you honestly hate pink that much? I always thought it was an alright color." She eyeballed a pink dress nearby, pausing to just touch it for a moment with a long blue nail.

Danny let out a sigh of relief as Michi seemed to move on to the next dress without even considering the fire demonness' opinion. While some might have been offended by Michi's lack of caring, Danny was absolutely enthralled by it. The less ghouly things she had to do, the better.
Shaking her head, Danny said, "No, pink's not that bad-" She stopped for a moment as she remembered what she'd said at the dorm, "I ... I just don't like seeing it everywhere! All the pink around the gym floor- haha no thank you."
To distract Michi, Danny pulled out a random purple dress and squeaked, "Sowhataboutthisisthisgood?" That was probably a lot more energy than what was necessary...
