☼ Basic Stuff ☼ xxxxx This is a role-play and personality contest. We will be looking at both options. Remember, Quality over Quantity. If you write three paragraphs that really captivate us, then you're pretty much gold. We know you'll do well! And, you can try for both bowls, if you want to. Though you can only win one.
☼ Read the entire information! ☼ xxxxx Please? It'll help with any questions you may have and stuff.. I think. o.o But if you do have questions, just send me or Dreaming a PM.
☼ Role-Play ☼ xxxxx If you're not around a lot to be part of the family, we'll get upset. There have been so many times were someone wins something, and then just disappears, and the family just lost a member. We understand real life issues, but Simba and Nala are important to me and Dreaming! So please, be around to role-play with the family, even if it's just some short in thread.
☼ Signature ☼ xxxxx Remove it, please. It gets kinda clustered and eye raping if I see so many different ones. So try and just take them off? I'll send you a reminder if ya don't, it would just really help us out.
☼ Have fun~! ☼ xxxxx This is meant to be fun! Yes, we will judge, because these are my babies, but still! Have fun with them!
☼ Use the Code! ☼ xxxxx Yes... It should go without saying, but some people completely skip over the code. >> And, fill out all the information!
☼ Just in case... ☼ xxxxx If we think of anything else, we'll add it. But I don't think we will. owo☼ Introduction ☼ Rules ☼ Meet the Pride ☼ Bowl(s)/Prompt ☼ Participants ☼ Reserved ☼ Reserved

The first bowl up for grabs is the only male of the batch. He's the first born. The second bowl is the second female of the group. She's the third born.
Prompt One: The pride is going out on a hunting trip. After much begging and pleading, Simba has decided that the new litter is old enough to go out on their first hunt and learn as well! How will your cub be able to handle this feet, and will they succeed? Tell us about the hunt.
Prompt Two: While out learning about the Pride Lands from your father, you get separated from him and your other siblings. Unable to see them, you are now left alone and unguarded. What will you do? Do you go on an adventure, try and find your father, or go home?
Prompt Three: One of your siblings is close to the pride. The other seems like they want to leave and never come back; they seem disgusted with how the pride works, and since Kiara is next in line, see no reason to stay. What are your thoughts on this? Do you want to stick with the pride, or perhaps go off as your other siblings is?
Try and make the name at least sound African. Very important! * You can use any of the family members, or any other pride members, to use in your prompt. That includes Zira, Vatini, the hyenas, Timbavati (white lion that's in the pride), ect. But we would prefer random noodles not be used. Keep them with the Lion King esc things. ** In all of these prompts, please act as if the bowl is already a kit/cub. It'll make things easier on you, I promise. For the Male:A mane is the main attraction!

Cub's Name: Serwa Name Meaning: Woman of Noble Character. Cub's Personality: Content, lonely. Will They Stay in the Pride?: Yes What Will They Bring to the Pride: A sturdy loyal member, down to earth, obedient and skilled huntress. Thoughts of Family: Everything she knows, she could wish for nothing more but tends to amuse herself in her spare time feeling that in such a big family she is the least priority.
Prompt Number: 2 Prompt Entry: Another tour from her father....
Sigh
Simba... King of Pride Rock, the ruler of the land and yes her father he was wise and caring and could do no wrong, never had and never would to any of them. Serwa however was young, unreasonable and the thoughts that muddled her mind had no place in ever being voiced. She loved her father, her family, she was never left wanting and had everything she ever wanted.
Expect their time... who cares if I went missing? Would they even miss me....
She hadn't meant to get separated she hadn't meant to get distracted by that bug that looked at her then ran away.... she'd already heard about those particular groupings of tree's and maybe she should of been paying her full attention. Alas.... she wasn't, she hadn't and now in an attempt to find her way back to where she'd wandered off she'd just gone and got herself more lost. So the little kit just sat looking at her paws, shuffling them nervously and wondering what fate had in store for her.
Sometimes Serwa felt lonely, silly as it might sound with so many loved ones around you. It wasn't a case of neglect, nothing like that it was just the attention, for such a young kit she knew reasonably that with three other kits and an older sibling she was just a small member of the bigger picture. Though as such a young kit she also didn't tend to think reasonably all the time, she knew her place and knew never to complain. In loving your family you do what's best for the many, and she was just one.. Not the first born... Not the Heir and not even the the only boy of the king and queen. Hell she wasn't even the last born, that would mean something, wouldn't it? Instead she was just there, existing. Keeping to herself and now she really was by herself.
Starting to sniffle to herself she was ready to curl up and give in, all she had to do was close her eyes, right? Bringing her paws across the grass and tucking herself in as tight as possible she blew out a breath and tried to calm her breathing, one breath... happy thoughts... two breath... I'll be fine, three breaths. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!". Loosing it she couldn't control herself, her thoughts and the situation caught up to her and Serwa called out as the tears started to stream down her still cub chubby cheeks.
"Serwa? Serwa! There you are." That voice... she knew that voice, it was so full of concern and hope....
"Za...Zazu?" She said through her soggy maw and shot to her feet, she had a hard brick of embarrassment resting in the bottom of her stomach, of shame for getting lost.... But there was her ticket home. Someone DID notice she'd gone missing.. of course they did!
"I'm so sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Shaking as she leap forward into Zazu's protection she sucked back her sobs and turned with him to go back to Pride rock... to home.
Future Plans?: Honestly, I'd like to have her mate Zazu, and hope if I win to begin RP with Aps ASAP. Though I am coming back to RPing after quite a long break I hope to dedicate a good chunk of RP and time to this shop, especially this pride/family.

A mane is the main attraction!Username: Roserain
Cub's Name: Thandi (It is Swahili for 'Beloved', and supposedly a masculine name. Though I keep singing "Brandy" in my head like a derp.) Cub's Personality: Energetic, demanding, and on some occasions probably insufferable. Wistful, hopeful, and a touch arrogant. Hard to describe in just a few words I suppose ._.; How about, depends on the day? Will They Stay in the Pride?: As a cub, definitely. As an adult, I don't know for 100%. I'd like for him to stay close to his family, but I don't know if that includes staying in the Pride indefinitely. I want to get a lot of rp with this guy, which means a lot of growth, and I'm not sure where that will lead. What Will They Bring to the Pride: Honestly he'd be the pain in the a**. >.> Push boundaries and buttons, see what he can get away with. He's looking to find out where he fits in the whole picture, and that sometimes means leaning hard on family to understand himself. Thoughts of Family: He loves them dearly, no doubt, but that doesn't mean he'll always play nice. With the pride steadily growing, Thandi's going to be wondering where on the roaster he belongs. It seems everyone else has a part to play, some importance to them... and he feels very much like just a face in the crowd. Perhaps it doesn't make sense with him being the only son, but he is a far cry from the throne and his sisters seem to do everything so much better. He's always messing up and getting in trouble, even when he means well.
Prompt Number: Prompt the First heart Prompt Entry: Blowing hot air to try and flick his growing mane out of his face, Thandi sat impertinently and pleaded his case yet again.
"But why? Only girls do the hunting anyway."
His sister brushed passed him, putting some weight into it as she stuck her nose in the air at his whining. He took a half-hearted swipe at her tail in its passing, but she nimbly lifted it from his reach and didn't even bother to turn and look at him. Which wasn't the case with his mother.
"Thandi."
Nala's stare told him she'd had enough and would brook no further argument on the matter. Though not exactly scolded, his ears flattened all the same as he rose to his feet. Muttering under his breath, he skulked behind his sisters, kicking up the dusty earth as his paws dragged. What was the point? he already knew how this would end. He was still too clumsy on his over-sized paws and made too much of a scuffle when he was readying his pounce. How many times had he heard one of them say it? Sure, take the girls out on a hunt, but why did he have to go along? This was just an insult to injury.
Not bothering to listen as their mother instructed them, listing off tips as they crept into the savanna grass, he watched as one by one they seemingly disappeared in the shifting foliage. Trying to keep up, he started to feel nervous as the rustling seemed to be coming from farther and farther away. Was he headed in the wrong direction? Peaking up above the tall grass, he looked around worriedly. They hadn't actually left him behind... had they? I mean, yea he didn't want to go but-
"Pssst, keep your head down."
A paw landed squarely between his ears and pressed him back towards the earth. He gave a long-suffering look to his sister, but she just shrugged it off. He was about to make some smart remark, but she was more intent on something else, slinking away into the brush on the trail of some noise or smell. Well fine, he didn't feel like talking to her anyway. He was starting to feel a little bitter about the whole thing, really. The unfairness of it all. Grumping to himself, he was about to lounge in the grass and even give up pretending to be a part of this little hunt when an idea struck him. He'd never been able to pounce on one of his siblings before... could never catch them off guard; but perhaps if they were all so focused on their mother or their own little trails maybe he could sneak up and pin one?
Grinning, he sunk his claws into the dirt, feeling the loose dust shift between the pads of his paws. Lowering his haunches like he was taught to do, Thandi began to listen, actually listen, for the first time since the start of this lesson. Now that he had a goal and he wasn't in such a foul mood, he could hear most of the others. Not too far, actually. They had stayed together for the most part, probably still following mom.
Trying to weave his hulking frame through the grass, he did his best to step lightly as he followed the slight rustles ahead of him. There. The very slightest variation of color in the sandy grass. He could feel his hind legs tense as he wriggled, readying to spring. It certainly wasn't bringing down an antelope, but to just this once be able to-
Something hard hit his side and threw him off balance, sending him sprawling into the savannah reeds. Within a moment there was weight on either of his shoulders and he fought against his attacker, grunting in dismay.
"Hey! What's the big idea?!"
His sister grinned down at him, not bothering to talk until she had pressed her full force against him; his back pinned to the ground. Smiling triumphantly, she jumped clear of him, her head held high in her pride.
"Gotcha, yet again."
Growling in frustration and anger, he jumped to his paws and went charging after her, only to come nose to nose with his mother. She had appeared out of nowhere to stand between the two bickering siblings, giving them both a stern look.
"Silence, the both of you. If there was anything to catch here there certainly isn't anymore."
mewing a soft apology, his sister had the gall to act ashamed.
"Sorry ma, I just saw movement and heard a shuffle. I didn't know it was Thandi..."
Nala dismissed her with a soft sigh, focusing on her son as she waited for a response. Instead, Thandi looked past her to see his sister stick her tongue out at him, and he scowled back. Nala quickly blocked off his line of sight and stared into his young face. He couldn't tell what she was thinking, and shrunk back at the intensity of her gaze. Not that their mom was one to hit them or anything, but her disapproval was still heavy and he didn't have a good answer to give.
Blue eyes met his, and for the briefest moment he thought she looked worried, before she sighed and turned away. He could just hear her murmur.
"Thandi... what am I going to do with you?"
Swallowing hard, he got back up and shook himself of the dirt and dust. Truth was, he didn't know himself.
Future Plans?: Firstly, I want him to find himself. If he doesn't, there's a good chance he'll become apathetic and a loner. (And that's all fine and good with some characters, but I want him to be happy, dangit D: ) I want him to value himself. Which is going to take a bit of maturity and a good kick in the tail more than likely. Not necessarily related, but I'd like to find him a mate. (Who doesn't?) I'd like to stick with the cat-type, and maybe that would cause him to start his own Pride? I don't think of him as being the kind to really 'take over' anyone else's territory, so maybe he'd start something adjacent to the Pridelands. Obviously something I'd discuss with you guys if it came to that, since that's kind of a big thing x.x If any of his siblings are interested in leaving, it would be kinda cool to start something new in my opinion |D
((Not my best ._. but I think he'd develop as it went along. Thanks for the chance, and good luck judging heart ))

Cub's Name: Asali (Honey in Swahili) Cub's Personality: Like her name Asali is sweet, but in a way that's teasing and slightly cutting. She's playful and curious, a trickster who plays pranks and enjoys the fun in life. She's the type to constantly tease Zazu and to trick her other siblings. When she's older she'll have a more sensual air to her playfulness. Will They Stay in the Pride?: Possibly. It depends on who else is in the pride when she's older. She's more of a free spirit. However no matter what she will always return to see how things are going. What Will They Bring to the Pride: Playfulness and trickery. She'll be the cause of many laughs and if out hunting she'll help come up with ways to outsmart their prey. Thoughts of Family: She loves them, but she doesn't really feel like she belongs. She's the least like her parents in looks, and though they love her she always feels like just another pride member, not the daughter who they love dearly. Her siblings she respects above all else, however sometimes she wonders if they even care for her for being her, or just for being a pride member.
Prompt Number: 3 Prompt Entry: They were fighting again. It was always so entertaining to hear them bicker like that. Asali couldn't help but purr slightly at it, her eyes darting from the conked out Zazu who she was currently preparing to pounce on to where the sudden noise was coming from, only slightly upset that their noise might wake her prey. Her two sisters were total opposites and it was a wonder they were related at all. They had quarreled like this since the first time they emerged from their bowls and she had always found humor in their endless bickering. Sometimes for fun Asali would even start it by mentioning off paw how great a queen Kiara would be when she was older, or how stupid it was that they would never get a real place among the pride. Either comment would send the other off and that was all it took before an argument broke out and Asali was left watching the show from the shadows, controlling her laughter as she watched.
This time was different apparently. For when she had finally decided Zazu really looked like he needed this nap and that instead she should just steal one of his feathers Kali had burst into an even angrier exclamation about how horrid the pride was and how badly she needed to leave, and finally Asali wanted and even needed to speak up. "I do too!"
That had attracted all three's attention, her brother who had been trying to nap in the shade had awakened at her outburst. She turned to look at them, all three staring at her like she had grown an extra head. "I love the Pride but really it'd be so much fun going out into the world as a rogue! Maybe meeting other lions or prides." Stretching herself she gazed lazily at her two shocked sisters, smiling in satisfaction. "Besides it's not as if we have a shortage of lions in the pride, and if we do need a few extra paws dad and mom can always make more, or even grandma and grandpa."
Her tail flicked itself over to the bird, slowly trailing it's way over his feathered body till it settled on a feather that seemed oh so perfect, and possibly was needed for flight as she continued, ignoring whatever her sister had been saying back to that."Sides I want to know why I look like uncle Scar and you guys don't.......why do I have to be the outcast. It's not fair......." Pouting slightly she stared off across the lands she called home and smiled as her eyes landed on the shadow lands. "I want to find adventure and excitement and fun. I want to pull pranks on hyenas and hear them laugh. I want to figure out who I am, show that I'm more then a princess who'll never be a queen." Her eyes were twinkling happily as she ignored the voices behind her, trying to convince her she wasn't what she was saying she was. She was too lost in her daydream to care. "I want to find me, I just can't wait till I can."
Future Plans?: Asali will probably try constantly to find her place among the pride and to make herself stand out to her parents. Which leads to more trouble, eventually I'd love for her to figure out about Scar and how she looks more like him which leads to her leaving the Pride to find out who she really is. Depending on how this goes she may either return to the pride as a real member or decide that she doesn't belong there but will still always love them.

Username: Kitsu_is_EPIC_FAIL
Cub's Name: Jasiri ((It means Bold in Swahili. <)) Cub's Personality: Confrontational and warlike, but loyal til the end. He's the type of Lion that you want with you and not against you. Will They Stay in the Pride?: Yes. He would never leave his family. <3 What Will They Bring to the Pride: Jasiri will bring strength to the pride in the way of his stolid front, but he might also bring conflict because he can't seem to keep his mouth shut either. Thoughts of Family: He loves his family and would lay down his life in an instant for them. He has a soft spot for his grandmother though - he will go out of his way to run little errands for her and snuggle up into her warm fur.
Prompt Number: 3 Prompt Entry: The cub was angry. How could they?! When he'd overheard some of his older siblings talking about leaving the pride, he wanted to rageflip rocks. He himself never wanted to leave - he loved his family and he couldn't even imagine that kind of disloyalty. He was muttering to himself about it as he entered Pride Rock, legs stiff with fury and his ears back. "What makes them so great? They're just traitors!" he exclaimed to himself... and the elder lioness that happened to be nearby.
Sarabi stretched a bit, and then crossed her paws, smiling faintly. "Hello young one... What is it that you're so angry about?" she asked softly but firmly. She knew that Jasiri was so headstrong, but she was always amused by his antics and his very obvious opinions. On the other hand though, she often had to set him straight because he rarely saw the bigger picture.
The young lion jumped a little - he hadn't noticed that his favorite family member was there at all through the cloud of his anger and disappointment. "Oh! I just overheard a few lions talking about leaving the pride, and I think it's stupid! Why would anyone ever leave? Kiara is a really good leader, and they should think more about their family!" he said, and looked set in his opinion, huffing.
A small frown met this news, but the older lioness drew the small cub into her paws, giving him a lick. "That is too bad, Jasiri... But really, they have just as much a right to an opinion as you do. Pride life is not for everyone... and some of them may come back after they realize that it was not the big adventure they thought it was going to be. Let the Circle of life continue, Jasiri. Things will happen the way they happen." she advised, which drew a little sigh from the cub, and prompted her to lick him again.
"I just... I don't see how they can be so selfish. The Pride needs them, and they're just going to leave because they feel like it? That isn't what family should do, Grandmother..." he said, and looked up at her, fur sticking every which way now. "It's not right."
"What is right or wrong is not something for you to decide though, little one. Be content that those who do stay will love you and their family." she said, which drew a small noise of agreement from the cub.
His Grandmother always gave the best advice.
Future Plans?: I really want for him to become a strong member of the pride, and to serve his family well. I really don't know what he'll be looking for in the way of a mate, but I'm tempted to make him into his own gender...

Cub's Name: Baruti Cub's Personality: Though his name means educator, he doesn't feel he needs to live up to his name. He'd rather have fun, test the waters and all the while the patcients of those around him. He's a bit of a trickster delighting in pulling off harmless pranks that at times can tend to get on the nerves of those he's pranked. He isn't ambitious in the sense that he'd become like the outcast Scar.. but he isn't above sending his siblings off on wild goose chases if it'll give him a good laugh. When he's not pulling pranks, he strives to make those around him laugh often making himself out to be the butt of his own jokes. Will They Stay in the Pride?: Yes. What fun would it be if he left those he's spent his time playing pranks on? What Will They Bring to the Pride: Laughter, after all everyone needs laughter in their lives it's good for the soul you know. Thoughts of Family: Family is the pride as a whole.. They're all connected in his eyes and as such he cherishes each individual, related by blood or not. He might be a goofy sort of guy but to threaten his family is to rub his fur the wrong way.
Prompt Number: 1 Prompt Entry: He rubbed cheeks with his mother as his father told them it was time to learn to hunt. "Really? I'm really going to get to learn?" He exclaimed with delight. Such great news this was. Granted the females did most of the hunting.. What stopped him from learning? What if something happened to his grandmother or mother? Hopping and plodding towards his father, he heard his mother's words ring in the cave.
"Don't you pull any of those pranks while your out there.." She said after him.
Looking back, he failed to realize Simba had stopped unexpectedly. "I promise.." His sentence was cut off short as he smacked directly into the strong haunches of his father causing him to fall flat on his bottom. "Ouch.." he stood, shaking out his fur and looking at his father, flashing a rather lopsided grin.
Looking back at his mother he nodded a farewell and ran ahead of his father. "Come on dad!" He stopped just short of the cave entrance.
Soon they were all out on the pride lands, hopping through the grass and taking instructions from their father. He however was more interested in a mud hole the rains had left behind. Mischief spread over his face as he eyed it. Quickly, he busied himself with covering it up with grass and other things so it wouldn't be as easily noticed. Seeing one of his sisters making her way over to him to nag him about his lack of attention span, he moved to put the puddle between the two of them.
"You really should be listening you know.." She started in as she plodded her way towards him. Unluckily for her she wasn't watching he ground or she might have seen the slight difference to the grass. Squish went the mud as his sister slid into it, her fur bristling from the oozy feel of the sticky and sucking mud.
The look on her face had been just enough to provide him some laughter to what was otherwise a dull learning experience. However, he hadn't expected this to cause her to cry. As he heard her flop in the mud, his head turned only to catch the tears in her eyes. " Awwe sis.. common.. I didn't mean for you to get sad.. It was just all in good fun..." His ears flopped as he made his way to her.
Still, his sister's tears didn't stop and just as Simba was about to intervene, Baruti stepped into the mud hole and flopped down beside her, making himself out to look even sillier than she did now. "Look sis! I'm all muddy too!" He flailed around like a fish out of water. What had been sounds of sobbing had turned to the soft chortling of laughter as his sister picked up a paw filled with mud and splattered him on the nose with it.
Future Plans?: I'd like him to reach a moment when he starts to dangerously boarder the dangers of becoming something more like scar.. something will then happen to him that opens his eyes that though pranks and teasing can be fun and games.. some times they can lead you down a path that's more or less wrong morally. In this time he'll go on a small quest.. to find his balance, become more of a jester than an irritating prankster as he gets older. He'll then return to his family with a new understanding of himself.
(a small note... I'm a day time sleeper and since i'm in the PST time zone i'm not on till about 8:30PM ish my time so most my rp's are better in Guild though I do have AIM for those other night owls like myself.)

Cub's Name: Nyimak (Meaning small fire)
Cub's Personality: Nyimak is fiercely independent. Give her a task and she can accomplish it by herself, almost flawlessly. However, this arises issues amongst her pride. While she has no trouble helping her family and pride members, she detests when others try and help her. She believes that she can take care of herself, and any attempt to relieve her of her duties or perform a deed for her to assist her troubles she will grow fiercely annoyed. Nyimak enjoys her family, very much so. However, she’s a tad to protective. Nyimak has the flaw of constantly fretting over her family. Her brother goes to explore the pride lands by himself? She frets. Her sister goes to hunt? Fretting. At times, she may even stalk her sibling to make sure they are okay.
She’s rather strong, and quick, but Nyimak lacks the ability to think before doing. This is troublesome in fights or hunting, where she’ll attack something bigger before really forming a plan. She’s an eager little cub, and eager to show off her power, though she needs to learn a few things about thinking before she leaps.
She’s insanely curious. While Nyimak loves her family she doesn’t love the idea of staying in the pride her entire life. She can’t resist the temptation of the outer world, and while she will try and fight the urge to explore, one day she’d get up and pad off. Nyimak worries about this constantly, worries her parents may hate her for her choices or her siblings may forget her. Though…. She just wants to explore a little bit…
She dislikes being controlled, as mentioned before. If she were to find a mate expect her to wear the pants. Nyimak doesn’t like being babied or treated like a dainty flower, because in all honesty she really isn’t. Still, she would enjoy the rare romance. She is a girl, once in awhile she wouldn’t mind being recognized as one.
Her temper can be flared easily if one mocks her siblings or family. If Nyimak spotted someone she loved being harassed she would become a snarling mass, ready to take that foe down! She really needs to learn to control herself… now that I think about it.
She can be childish at times. Evidence being how she does not think before acting. Another is her temper, and her extreme dislike of being told what to do. However, she’s very protective of her family and will probably have wrinkles as an adult from worrying constantly.
She haaaates water, and shockingly heights. That is the only time she will become a whimpering, pathetic cub, and the only time you’d catch her crying. Will They Stay in the Pride?: Sadly, Nyimak probably wouldn’t. She would stay until she was an adult, and give in to that longing to experience the outside world. She would visit constantly, though, and probably stay over for the holidays.
What Will They Bring to the Pride: Uhhh. See, now, Nyimak would probably be a huge asset and a pain in the butt at the same time. Not wanting help, she would probably drive the elders crazy, but her ability to master any skill given to her would bring fortune to the pride. She is a good cub to have around, she just needs to be poked at a bit to behave around the adults.
Thoughts of Family: Simba and Nala - Eeep. While Nyimak is a complete brat at times, she loves her parents. Though, she seems to grow fairly annoyed with how her father becomes over-bearing. She doesn't like when they treat her like a kid, even if she is, She will spend most of her time as a kid just trying to prove to both of them that she can totally care for herself, though probably run crying to them instead. Yuuup. Silly Nyimak.
The Siblings - BACK. AWAY. Nyimak will rip your eyes out if you hurt her siblings. End of story. She loves them, they are the ones she can go to to confide in, and she will always protect them. Nyimak has a slight issue with being rough with her siblings, her playing can cause a few bruises. But honestly, she doesn't mean to! Unless her brothers are trying to treat her special cuz she's a girl...
Mufasa and Sarabi - Honestly, Nyimak tends to go to Sarabi for most advice. While her mother is strong in her own ways, Nyimak views Sarabi as.... hmm... someone she can learn more from? Her mother is for snuggles and trying to prove she's a big lioness, and Sarabi is someone she wants to praise her for how strong she is. She often runs to Sarabi whenever she accomplishes something, hoping for praise (despite pretending she's not). She tends to only listen to Sarabi, letting her treat her like a kid. Then there is Mufasa. She tends to hang around him to pick up some tips, but at times she feel intimated by his size and wings. Though, she loves her grandfather and learning basic survival skills from him, she favors her grandmother.
Kiara and Kovu - Kiara and Kovu are.... well Kiara's her big sister so she can't decide if she wants to be better than Kiara or impress her, and Kovu is just Kiara's mate. He tends to help raise the kits which annoys Nyimak. She doesn't need raising! She's perfectly fine the way she is! .... But but... he's kinda nice. And Kiara is a nice sister.... Hnnnn.
Pumbaa, Timon, Rafiki, Zazu - .... Idiots. Really, cept Zazu. Well, she likes them all, honestly, but sometimes they are so noisy. Though, you can catch her wrestling with Pumbaa and chasing Timon's tail, or trying to climb after Rafiki or calling Zazu a feather head for telling her what to do. They, as well as the lions of the pride, are special to her. And while she can nibble and chew on them, no one else can outside of the pride, or else she'll rip your eyes out.
Scar - .... She.... she doesn't know. She heard horrid things of him, but she's never met him. How could she judge him without meeting him? But then again, he had hurt her family, that itself is unforgivable. But... isn't he family?
Prompt Number: Three Prompt Entry: "I will not repeat myself, Nyimak."
With a huff and flick of her tail, Nyimak nodded. She knew that it was a tense question, asking to leave the pride lands just for one day. However, it was only Sarabi that could make her ears flop down the way they did, and her heart drop. If she refused to speak about it then the outside world must be horrid, right? Of course.
Yet.... When she heard her sibling mentioning leaving the tribe when they were older she felt that familiar tug at her heart. What would she do if they left? And... what would she do if they never returned?
It wasn't only that. She wanted to explore, too. She loved her pride-lands, honest. She had almost flipped when her sibling said the pride was disgusting. Yet, that didn't stop her yearning. The outside world was bigger, a world she had never seen with her own eyes. How could she live her life never experiencing a world other than the pride? It just.... didn't seem possible.
"But granmama won't talk about it, so it must be a bad place." Wasn't that where Scar was? Hmpf! Nyimak could defend herself if he attacked! No, Scar didn't frighten her. It was her own family, her own pride.
What if she left and they never forgave her? What if she visited and her own mother turned her back on her? Would that life be suddenly no longer worth it? Of... of course. Her family was more important than the pride lands. Right? Then why did she still long to explore into the world? No. She couldn't... if her family hated her... the outside world was where they sent bad people like Scar. Was it full of only bad people?
What if... they hated her?
Her eyes drifted to spot her mother and father snuggle one of her siblings who had harmed themselves, Nyimak eyebrow raising. No... They still loved her sibling that wanted to leave, even if she had noticed the slight worry in their face. And the outside world couldn't be evil... it just couldn't. If it was why hadn't it corrupted the pride-lands? An entire world full of evil would eventually corrupt their home.
No... and even if her granmama did not wish to speak of it that didn't mean that Sarabi would hate her, either. Right? It must be hard hearing that your grandchildren want to leave. It must be difficult knowing they'd be in a world where you couldn't protect them. Once again, her eyes flipped to now view Sarabi. No. She was always for free-thinking, and doing as you wish. It just must worry her knowing that half of the kits wanted to experience the outer world.
She.... she still wasn't sure. Turning to now view the rest of the pride she drank in the scene. No. She knew what she wanted. She wanted to explore. She wanted to fight big foes and protect little guys and become independent. She wanted to visit on the holidays and bring gifts from the outside world. She wanted to bring home a mate to meet her family and eventually kids.
She just.... wasn't sure if she ever would.
Future Plans?: I'd like for Nyimak to leave the pride and explore, as she wants. Meet a few foes, a few friends, and find a mate of the feline or canine race. Every holiday she'd travel back and torment her family with stories of the outer world and presents they probably will have no use for. And when she has kids, she'd return to the pride-land for a bit to raise them and see if they want to stay there or come home with her. I would also really like to role-play Nyimak as a kit with her family, if that is okay?
