Pokélot Name: Hostile Valley Pokélot Owner: Nakano Hinode Description of the place: Upraising Crater - is a hostile land. It is a small area that is encase in nothing but rock and stone. There isn't food or water here, and food would have to be grown or left in order for the pokemon to be able to survive here. As for water, either a water type or another form of water source must be left behind or else the pokemon might die while the trainer is away. All pokemon store here gain 1/4 exp from a battle. (If no water types are store here & no food is left behind for all pokemon hp is reduced by 1/4 each battle) Pokemon Currently Stored: 1/3  Chihime (Poison) Drillbur (f) lvl:2/Impish Hp: 11/15 Pp: 15 Att: 9 Def: 7 Spd: 8 Sp att: 5 Sp Def: 7 moves: Scratch, Mudsport, Drill Run Exp: 35/100 Held item: Bio: This pokemon was captured on Beginning Island on the girl's quest to capture a Vulpix. A vulpix which in the end she failed to capture, but maybe it's not so bad to at least capture one pokemon instead of none. Though at the First event of the hunter's tournament, Pooka was killed during the mine field of the race. Reverted to an egg state, she would hatch into Chihime. The new addition to the group, Nakano would give her a new name to match. Hopefuly she would be just as good a fighter as she had been in the past. It was just as desolated as the girl had thought. A tumble weed would bounce across the land scape. This place would need a lot of work, but for a ninja ...work was nothing as she thought to pick up her cellphone and put to work those of the lesser rank than her. Though as she brought it to her ear, she would hear the sound that made her blood run cold.
The soundbite chipping into her soul.

She nearly dropped to her knees, because that meant that she was going to have to make this place flourish on her own. Not something she realized beforehand or she would have made a better choice.
Her hands hitting the ground lightly as she picked up the soil and threw it.
"Fine, I will do it myself."
Thus with that said, she would travel into her own land to find a place to make her home. The capsule was bouncing in her hands. She was of the thought that she would be building anything.

It was hours later when she finally found the perfect spot to put her home as she places the capsules with a single click into one of the deeper craters. A place that couldn't be seen except for in the air, and she planned to later on make that impossible as well ...though for now.
She went inside and checked out her new habitation. It wasn't home, she would decide after about thirty minutes, but it would do.
It was officially an hour and 30 minutes later when she left. She needed to go see about meeting her teachers, but before that she needed her pokemon healed. And even she could figure out the best place to find the pokemon center was at the academy itself.

The stroll back home wasn't one she was really impress with. Afterall, she had forgotten to get the needed pokemon from such a harsh land ...like a water or a grass type. Instead, she had stuck to fire, steel, and ground ....all hardy breeds, but this land was even harder, and she didn't want to see them die here. Thus, she wasn't going to leave any of them behind as she goes to her small home in the crater and flops on her bed.
She would rest for the night and then get ready to deal with the real thing in the morning ...as he stomach rumble. She would have to see about getting food for herself and her pokemon too ....she was hungry and her land wasn't the sort of place that one could stand being one or the other for too long.

It had been a long time since she had come to this place ....as she would walk with her Skarmory currently strapped from the top to the bottom with supplies as she would deposit them on the ground. This place was a harsh envoirnment, but now, she had everything set up for survival here ....as she took the package of water and food off.
4 packages of each, that meant ....20 units.
The girl was sure that it wouldn't take 20 battles before she got back home again ...as she would take out something else from her supplies the Miner's kit.
The looked Suzaku gave her ...had the girl smiling.
"It's not for me, it's for the pokemon I am calling out." "I Think you know as well as I do which pokemon that should be."
She declares kindly. It made little sense for her to try and force the issue, the little drillbur would be next to useless on the island she was going to head too. So, it would be better if she gained strength here, and so, she would deposit her here and smile as Chihime looked upwards at her after being released.
Looking at the two, she decided why not send out everyone as she would release, Lucky and Carrot.
"We are going to take the day off here, and then head back to our Professor for our mission. So with this in mind, I want everyone to get a good night's rest ....and in the morning...Chihime, you will be staying behind to guard and mine this land."
The little Drillbur looked a bit sadden by those words.
(Why?)
She would ask, and Nakano would smile once as she puts a hand on her short fur head.
"It's to keep you safe, you aren't strong enough as you are, and I refuse to let you be harmed due to my own selfishness."
THe girl would tell her.
"Don't worry, I will come back for you and by then, you will be strong enough to follow us."
She declares trying to sound happy. So, with that said, everyone went to find their own resting place for the night, as the girl would sleep in her capsule home at the bottom of the crater.

In the morning, she would be ready ....as she make sure that recalled everyone. Suzaku, Carrot, and even Lucky would give their best and their good byes to Chihime as the young pokemon would tug lightly at her own snout. She hated to be left alone, but she had a job that needed to be done ....as the Miner's kit would be left for her.
"Make sure you dig big and deep, start on the opposite side of this crater, that way you don't have to go far for food and water."
Nakano would tell the little Drillbur as she nods.
Because, she was here, the ninja had left her door unlocked so that Chihime could easily get to both food and water as needed. Then she would gather everything and prepared to leave the area .....she would leave her to her own things.
As Chihime wouldn't wait long as she opens the kit to find inside of it everything she needed to be successful, and the Drillbur would start digging for the first day.

Sitting by herself is a bit boring as she twirls one paw around the other, and then smiles lightly as she would dig into the ground again. She had started by opening an entrances way, and now she was working on enlarging it ...bit by bit ....as she carved the ceiling and then started to put in the support beams.
She had had something like metal connecting pieces she easily got out of the kit as she started to make it much bigger. Having something to do meant that she didn't miss the others quite as much.

Chihime had found that once she was sure of the top, it took less time to work through the mining process. One huge digging claw after the other, she was shoving out dirt and throwing it to the side. A big smile was on her face as she worked, she could use either her claws or the pick, and when it come to moving the rocks she used her claws .....it was easier. Yet, as she looked at the big and small stones that she had managed to unearth, she knew it was time to use her pick.
She had unearth quite a pile as she would start to work against those stones ...chipping ...chipping ...chipping away. She was hoping to unearth something ....eventually.
Thus, she whittle the stones down to reveal......

The mole pokemon would dig out of the earth ...something that couldn't be mistaken for ordinary stone as it glitters and shines. A Nugget, or at least, that was how it looked .....sat before the pokemon. Now what time of Nugget could only be told by tapping it or biting into it to see how the metal itself would react.
With this in mind, she had been successful in her first dig either way.
(Roll 1-20 if it's 1, it's a Fool's gold and if it's 20 you rolled a Big Nugget. Everything else is a normal Nugget.)

She would walk up to the rock and tap it with one claw. The sound of it would echo in her little mining hole ....as she would check to see what it was before she would totter out into the sunshine with her item. Placing it inside of the Miner's Kit lock box ....she would decide that now was as good as any time to simply enjoy the day. She would go back to the hunt at a later time ....as she yawns loudly.
Her luck seems to have turned around slightly.
As she looked at lock box and smiled. She had managed her first dig ....as she jumps into the air suddenly.
Chihime managed to dig out a Nugget.

Since, the last one had been such a success, Chihime couldn't turn away from the little mining area. Thus, she would start again as she would start to dig again. Her claws would tear into the ground as she started to cut into the soil.
She had managed to cut into the stones as she sung a bit to herself.

7:24 am - Day 2
The little mole would dig heartily into the ground. She was singing a little song as she went about her work ...as her claws dug deeper and deeper into the earth. A smile was on her face ...as she wiggled her claws a bit as she went about her task.
A bit of work here ....a bit of work there.
If she continued like this ...she was sure that she would find something good.

7: 25am - Day 3
Like the day before, she would finally come to the end of her digging journey. Her claws tearing deeply into the earth ....as she would gather the rocks that she had tore from the earth.
Wipping one dusty paw across her face, she would totter outside with her reward. She would place them on the ground ...each rock as she would shift them and start to cut into them. She needed to see what would be inside of each stone ....if she could possible find something valuable in the rocks she had dug out today.

Despite the little Pokemon's efforts, she'd find each rock coming up empty. Neither crystal, or gem, nor treasure long lost. Her search came fruitless and empty. There were no valuables to be discovered here this day!

Day 1 - 8:04 am
She would look more than a little bit disappointed. Afterall of that work, and she had gotten nothing for it. A sigh would escape her as she looked back at the cavern and decided that she would try again ...at least a few more times ....before the need for food and drink would over power her enough to make her stop digging.
Turning towards it ...she would scamper back inside. Hopefully deep insider ...much deeper she would be able to find something special. Her claws would scrape against the ground as she dig deeper. She needed to make the hole bigger and then add the beams next before she actually start searching.
A smile was on her face as she hums a little tune to herself as she went about her task.
