 She woke up very early that morning, because Aluka meant to sneak off and wreak havoc. She was a mischievous young lioness, and figured it was much easier to just get away before her parents were awake to stop her. Especially considering they were a somewhat nocturnal pride, which meant that doing whatever she wanted during the day was even easier!
And so she did just that. Woke up at the crack of dawn, and did her best to slip away unnoticed. Something went wrong, though, and she felt like she had stepped on something soft. She tried to retract her paw quickly enough, and then figured that the exit of the den was right there. Aluka's best bet was to just leg it. So she hurried out of the den as quickly as possible, and, as soon as she was out, leaped into the nearest bush.
She could only hope she hadn't woken anyone up!

 Urzlan gave a rather loud yawn and rolled to his other side. when he opened his eyes, he just barely caught sight of his sister sneaking off out of the den. he tried to scramble to his feet to try to catch up and ended up tripping over himself as he tried to race out the den. now in the dirt just outside the den, he gave a small groan thinking he messed and now wouldn't be able to catch up to his sister. even though he didn't go out of his way to cause havoc, he still enjoyed trying to join the fun his siblings were having. slowly getting to his feet, he gave a sigh before sitting down to debate if he wanted to go back into the den or track his sister down.

From the bushes she watched her brother, afraid he might make some loud sound and alert her parents. She lowered her ears, focusing on him, and considering hurrying over and covering up his mouth or something. He could ruin her getaway! He could ruin everything. Everything.
But to Aluka's relief, Urzlan sat up, and stayed quiet. Okay, so far so good. He wasn't alerting his parents, or anything. So she considered maybe actually bringing him along. She didn't really even have a plan for something to do, and usually company was fun. Urzlan was good enough company! "Hey! Urzlan! Pssst!" She called in a hushed tone, peeking her head out of the bush. Hopefully he would know not to yell, or anything.

Urzlan's ears perked when he heard his sister trying to get his attention without being loud about it. a grin was on his face when he finally found where his sister had hidden. "what are you doing hiding in the bushes?" he spoke in a whisper since it was more than obvious she was trying to be sneaky or why else would she had spoke in a hushed tone. "are you hiding from someone?" sitting in front of the bush, he made sure he was being as quiet as she was since he didn't want to ruin anything she was doing. for all he knew she was playing a game with one of their siblings, since he didn't look around to see if everyone was in the den when he scrambled after her.

Aluka shook her head and turned around, signalling him to follow. Once she had led him a few more paces away from the den, she decided to fill him in. "I am going on an adventure! And exploring." And probably doing some stupid, slightly reckless things, but that was alright. Urzlan didn't have to know that bit.
"D'you wanna come? It's gonna be fun." She nodded, even if she didn't really have a set plan for what she intended to do.

Urzlan was quick to follow her and tried to be as silent as possible. he felt like they were on some secret adventure and it made him all excited. "that sounds like so much fun! i totally want to come with you, besides you need your strong brother to protect you if you need it." grinning, he would always be protective of his siblings since he loved them all dearly. " where are we going to go first?" his tail was lashing about with excitement, as he waited to hear where they were headed off to first.
