**## Guidelines to building your Hemophage ##**
+ Your character may be any Ethnicity, Age, Gender, and/or Nationality.
+ Your Telekinetic ability may be anything you wish, though it must be implemented through mental control. a few examples include pyrokinesis, telapathy [to either people or animals], or standard telekinesis.
+ Your Passive ability may be one of three perks; a) Increased Physical Strength, b) Increased Intelligence and Cognition, c) Rapid Healing
+ TECHNOLOGY BREAKDOWN: While the manifestation of their telekinetic abilities vary from one to another, a constant among all Hemophage is the inherit side-effect from which they get their name. Their circulatory systems no longer have the ability to create new blood cells, causing the subject to essentially bleed dry from the inside if enough time passes before a blood transfusion can be recieved. As a counter-measure to the side-effect of the Hemophage serum, deranged scientist Alvin Schilling developed a nano technology capable of preforming immediate, effective, and life-saving blood transfusions without the need for the patient to ever set foot inside a hospital. -- He implemented the use of the technology through a combination of mind-altering chemicals, and metal implants in the mouth capable of absorbing blood into the nano transfusion system at an incredible rate. The result causes the subject insatiable cravings for blood, until such time as they recieve a transfusion and return their blood pressure to normal levels. She has learned that to survive, you must be tough and willing to fight for the things that really matter. Intelligence is a key factor on how she had lived so long with her illness, diligence plays a big part too. Her mood will sometimes swing sporadically, and she has been known to bombard someone she doesn't trust with questions, only to gauge what their reaction is when answering, not to hear the answer itself. She is very secretive and mysterious, and she seems one to enjoy the darker side of life. Background: Having been born in the outskirts of Australia to parents who had moved from Hawaii to Australia to get away and live somewhere relatively cheaper, they found it just as hard in Australia. She was a self-birth, her parents did everything a doctor should have done. When growing up, she was treated as an outcast due to her Hawaiian heritage and strange behaviour. IE; staring off into space and completely ignoring everybody for hours on end, not to mention her love for punk and gothic type clothing and sarcastic nature. So when a wild Dingo attacked her while she wondered the Outback trying to.get away from her parents, not many people cared, and her parents refused to check the bites and gouges out until she started showing strange symptoms a few months later, starting on her 18th birthday. It started small. Headaches, sore throat..and then it got worse. Sporadic muscle spasms, odd moods, lashing at others, unquenchable thirst. By the time her parents got her diagnosed with Rabies, it was too late for the vaccine. People were stunned, parents shocked. Rabies was almost nonexistant on such a small place such as Australia, and by a Dingo no less. Needless to say there was panic. Many solutions were tried on her in the matter of days she had left, and when most had given up hope, the man in black appeared to her by her bedside and gave her the letter. Ilalaiya had thought him an illusion, so she only told him yes right then and there because she only had two days at the most. She was accepted into the experimentation, and the day she woke in our hospital with no more hydrophobia and uncontrolled movements, she actually rejoiced, and it was found that the water her body so roughly rejected was now her friend. Chaz isn't what you'd call pleasant company. While she doesn't say much (possibly due to language barriers) she does listen, tending to come to conclusions about people silently without questions or protests. She's not someone you'd want to upset or anger... Mostly because rather than tell you about her mood, Chaz prefers to show you through physical actions. Much a case of fending for herself at the expense of others. Background: Her mother was the wife of a Russian engineer that had been stationed at the ex-soviet union plant of Chernobyl, they lived at the city of Prypiat until the reactor incident. Charlotte was born, and grew up, in the poorer areas of Moscow after her family evacuated. She grew up quite disadvantaged and frequently Ill with early set and rather severe MDS. Her education was good, frequently coming top of her classes till she graduated high school, however due to her impoverished background she could not afford to take it any further. This was also true with her health care, her poor income meant that she and her family had to use less than legal routes for her care. Drifting through life and fighting for survival in a city that tried to drag her down at every turn took it's toll on her, and with her health failing Charlotte had more or less given up. Her parents had succumbed to cancer from the radiation, the last 'doctor' she had dealt with had stolen all her money, leaving her to die, and she was untrusting of everyone... She was visited by our agent soon after this. Not having anything else to lose, her decision was easy. Hemophage:Charlotte displays an ability to convert types of energy into other types of energy. For example; sound into heat, heat into kinetic; light into sound, and so on. Her passive ability seem to be increased intelligence and cognitive abilities, though due to her unwillingness to speak much, we have yet to be able to confirm this.

It's not that she isn't friendly, she is, but she just never usually has much to say. If you do decide to strike up a conversation, she'll be there to listen attentively and smile and nod. She was never one who enjoyed being the center of attention, in fact, she shies away from it. She nearly always thinks before acting, sometimes even to the point where she's thought about it so much the opportunity has already passed. Even with this habit of overthinking, [conscientiousness she calls it], it is easy to fluster her with enough pressure and aggression. Her actions always seem to revolve around others, in which the saying 'Your happiness is my happiness' really does apply. With these traits all in the mix, she makes quite the pushover. Although it takes time to break down her shell, she can make a very honest an loyal friend. Background: If you want an exciting story, filled with vegeance and drama, Katherine's life isn't really the place to look. Her family wasn't rich, though it wasn't really poor either. Her parents, were both gentle and loving, and she even had a ittle brother, Abel, to care annoy for. And her docile demeanor was still so even as a child. Even plucking a flower from the ground, made her knees weak just from the way the stem seemed to resist before the loud snap as it broke. At school, she was very studious eager to make her parents proud. Her determination coupled with her compassion seemed to have unconsciously brought her into student council activities as well. But even if it hadn't, she never minded being the wallflower. It's not really known when she had first gotten Leukemia. The symptoms are difficult to spot to begin with, and furthermore, when they grew worse, she never gave notice to anyone else. When the pain had finally become evident, she was rushed to the hospital, only to find out that her illness had already elevated to the advanced stage. It's a little sad, her effort to alleviate her family by hiding her pain, may have ultimately lead to her own death. The chances of survival was immensely low for a youth like her. Even so, she still clasped strongly onto the thread of hope and went through a few rounds of chemotherapy. When eventually, even the doctors told them just to enjoy the time they had left. Her parents were distraught but her brother at least, was still too young to understand. After spending restless nights in her hospital bed, thinking of death and what might come after, she found herself..at peace. So she had to go now, that's okay. She had lead a good and happy life, and the Earth would still spin even after she was gone. It was only a few days after her acceptance of her fate, did that man come to deliver an envelope sheathed in black. Reading it's contents, she had almost felt...diismayed. She was tired of the pain, and the suffering she caused. She was ready for death. Ready to greet him with a smile. But she didn't have it in her to hide this from her family. And once they saw it, they were just so happy. How could she have said no? Thus, with a shaky hand she signed the document. He survived the incident, however he lost his sight and suffered severe head trauma. He refused to and learn braille and being plagued by frequent migraines made daily life almost impossible to cope. Vergal's parents were approached with an opportunity to try an experimental procedure that would "return" his eye sight and fix his neurological damage. They agreed... Hemophage: He's able manifest and project hallucinations visible only to him and the afflicted, anything felt or done by the hallucination eventually fades out of or into reality. Due to the evasiveness of his re-visioning procedure, he has developed rapid healing.

For a couple years he managed to keep it together in a sense since he still treated his daughters well but they were beginning to mature and Kiara's younger sister was beginning to look a lot like their mother. This fact drove their father off the edge and he grew dangerous. Kiara could tell that the look in his eyes were no longer love. His eye belonged to a demon that had horrible intentions. Already she was thirteen and her sister twelve and she could not allow him to hurt her in any way at all for she would not live with such thoughts. In the end Kiara received all the physical and sexual abuse while her sister remained innocent and remained never knew what happened behind the doors of their house. Kiara's personality had warped and her voice was silenced for many years and when high school came about she was known as the freak who had no heart and worshiped the devil. Despite all the harassment she went through she continued going to school and received excellent grades. But around and in her sophomore year she became gravely ill and she learned she was HIV positive but it was clear why that was but none the less she kept this a secret from her sister and there was no use in telling her horrid father that she would soon die anyway. Kiara felt lost in the world and became more introverted and her depression grew to where she was labeled as clinically depressed. Rather than killing herself she decided to let her illness take her life for she always thought that this was something she deserved. Kiara used to be a religious young girl who loved god but throughout the years she had lost her faith and felt that there was no heaven nor a hell. Kiara believed that she would only end up a lost pathetic soul. Her cancer cells began to develop into tumors and she would simply be a cancerous body in general. She continued to fall into sickness until all she could do was lay in bed and suffer horrible pains throughout her body and if that wasn't bad enough she still faced the sexual abuse. When that mysterious person came for her she simply thought it was some form of death waiting for her to breathe her last breath but instead she found herself somewhere else, a place that was either far worse then hell or better than heaven. Personality: Aya is a very bright person. Despite her illness, she never showed any signs of depression. She always tried to find something positive in her situation. She knew that she would die young, and she decided to live her life to the fullest, doing as much as she could until she could no longer move her body. She kept a diary and wrote in it all the time until she couldn’t write. She hoped that one day it would be published so the world would know about her.
Background: Aya was born in Tokyo, Japan, and lived there until she was 15, when she was diagnosed with spinocerebellar ataxia. Her parents were told that they should go to the US to try and find a treatment for her, so they moved there when she was 16. As time passed, she started to lose more and more of her motor skills. The first to go was her ability to walk. At first she got around using a wheelchair, but it became more and more difficult to go places, particularly school, in a wheelchair. When she was 17, she had to quit school, and revert to homeschooling. As more time passed, she lost more and more control of her body, to the point where she couldn’t move anything except her hands, head, and feet. She took to writing in a diary about everything that happened to and around her, until she couldn’t write anymore, at the age of 20. She lost her ability to speak the next year. She Was a full-time resident at the hospital, and there was no hope for her survival, since there was no known cure. She could only wait until she died. She knew it was the end when she could no longer eat, and had to be fed through tubes. She was 22 when a man came to her offering a chance to be cured and to live a normal life. She accepted the offer, seeing one last ray of hope that would save her life.
Hemophage (Tele-kinetic and Passive abilities): Aya is telepathic. She can speak into the minds of other people and animals, and can pick up thoughts that are directed to her. However, she can’t hear all the thoughts of others, only if they are directed specifically to her. Her passive ability is increased intelligence and cognition.
