Despite his busy schedule in Camphoreon, the recent crisis involving the Boss's brother had summoned a particular elite from his office in a high rise building. His services were necessary in helping to find the location of the Galactic Base, and while he could do some work from his office in Camphoreon, he could be of more use here. Plus Lucere had commanded that this was top priority over everything else at the moment.

Having left everything in the hands of his brother, Seth made an excuse and departed for HQ.

Clad in a business suit and clutching a brief case in one hand, while the other was shoved into his pocket, Seth strode through the doors of the garage. It was hard to believe it had been two months already since he'd left rather abruptly. But things were in a more stable state now and he could afford to leave for a temporary amount of time.

Striding through the halls, Seth was making eventually to the tech floor where he would report in and could find what he needed to help in the search of the missing executive and other Rockets.

As Seth walked the halls, a second set of footsteps soon trailed after him, not making any efforts to soften their sound on the solid floor. A few seconds more, and a voice was calling after the man as well.

"Seth-sama?" it said, cheerful but astonished as it addressed the suited figure. "My, you left this place so fast I didn't even have time to execute that surprise farewell party I had planned for you! How have you been? Not back for long, I take it?" The informant tilted his head slightly as he watched the businessman's formally-clothed back and fixed posture. "That's a real shame. I missed you so much~!"

A grimace appeared on Seth's face as he heard a voice that grated on his nerves. A voice that he hadn't cared to hear again, but there it was. He just kept walking as if he's never heard him, but as the owner of it came up beside him, he stared down sideways at the grunt. He couldn't very well ignore him now.

"Good. I wouldn't have liked it anyway," he said in regards to Izaya's so called surprise farewell party. Seth then sighed irritably as the grunt claimed to have missed him. Charming. "I can't say the feeling is mutal!" he snapped, glaring down at the little asian man.

"I have work to do. If you're just going to buzz around my head like an insect, then just go away." Or else he'd have to find a fly swatter.

The grunt giggled at Seth's response, sticking his hands in his pockets and continuing along his course without breaking stride. "You say that without even knowing who I'd planned to invite! You know, Nadja-san was supposed to be there," he added casually, withdrawing one hand to study his fingernails as they walked.

"Aw, don't be that way, Seth-ou," Izaya pleaded with a grin, hurrying to walk alongside his taller, fellow Japanese rather than behind him. "I'm working too. Talking to people and gathering information is what I do, remember?" He beamed up at the brunette. "So, what are you up to?"

Seth gave Izaya a sharp glance as he brought up Nadja and narrowed his eyes. "What do you know about Nadja?" he asked. This guy did make it his business to know everything, as he had stated. So it shouldn't surprise him that he knew of his relation to her... even if it did annoy him. But last Seth had known, Nadja hadn't yet returned. Had this changed?

He then snorted and looked forward again. "I'm here to assist with the current problem our Boss wants our attention completely focused on." In other words, he was here to help look for the Galactic base so that they could free their kidnapped comrades.

Izaya's glee was unmistakable when Seth's demeanor changed upon the mention of the female executive. "I know how she looks in a bathing suit~" he teased, laughing. "And a few other things. But nevermind that." He waved a hand dismissively. "What interest would she be to you? Like you said, you've got a job to do. I doubt at the moment that it has anything to do with her."

He smiled as Seth answered him, somewhat surprised that his question had been responded to seriously. "Ah, so you had been listening. You can take the Rocket out of the team, but you can't take the team out of the Rocket, mm?" Izaya reached up to pat the businessman on the shoulder. "It's so nice to know we still have your aid and support on our side! Admit it. You love your teammates~"

Seth huffed irritably, "I think you know the answer to that question." To assume that Izaya was ignorant about his relationship to Nadja, would be stupid. He wouldn't have brought it up if he hadn't known. There was no denying though that Seth wanted to see her. He had been waiting months to see her face to face again, although he couldn't help but feel nervous. He had left a note and a gift for her before he left. He wondered how she had reacted to it.

With the subject change, Seth snorted. "I'm still a Rocket, Mr. Orihara. Even if I'm not living at headquarters anymore, that hasn't changed."

Though the informant had an idea of what Nadja and Seth's relationship had been with one another, he had no way of knowing what Seth felt about the woman now. What information he'd gotten had only been from rumors and Nadja herself, but Izaya knew better than to believe others who spoke for someone else. Only Seth had the capability to recognize how he felt about her even if he didn't feel like acknowledging it to himself or anyone else.

Izaya doubted he could convince the blue-eyed man to tell him a lie about his feelings, let alone the truth; at least not now. If he put him on the spot, there would only be trouble. All he could do for now was to coax little hints out of his superior, like the abrupt glance and the question Seth had asked. He wanted a better idea of what the brunette was thinking, but he couldn't make it obvious that was what he wanted, either.

Best to leave the subject on the sidelines and make it seem unimportant. The less interested the grunt seemed about it, the less likely he figured Seth would have his guard up about it. At the very least, Seth might figure he already knew more than he actually did and therefore not worry as much about divulging information he guessed Izaya already had.

"You give me too much credit, Seth-sama!" he cried, sounding flattered as he waved a hand. "Romantic relationships aren't high on my 'need to know' list. They're always changing and people often aren't clear on their own feelings, so there's no point in claiming anything under that category to be 'fact'." He put a hand over his mouth, pretending to stifle a yawn. "I'm far more interested in where you've been all this time. I've never heard of a Rocket who's been allowed to operate as such outside of headquarters. At least not since the outpost was compromised."

Walking with a merry skip in his step, he continued, "Forgive me for not recognizing you were still a Rocket. I wasn't really kept in the loop on the topic, and you higher-ups keep things so tight-lipped up there on the higher floors." He picked at Seth's sleeve. "This doesn't look anything like uniform, regulation or otherwise. Are you...undercover?" Izaya guessed.

"Does that mean you've switched to my department? That would explain why you promoted Hayes to the head of yours, I suppose." He beamed. "But this 'Mr.' business! So formal. If you're still a Rocket, why don't you address me as 'Grunt' like you used to? Aren't you still my superior? We've never encountered each other within the business world, so far as I recall."

Superfluous words and questions poured out of Izaya's mouth like vomit. Seth waited until the man was done before stopping abruptly and turning to face him while glaring down his nose.

"If you must know, -Grunt-" he said, making sure to emphasize the title. If Izaya was going to complain or point out that Seth hadn't called him that, he would make a point of it to do so. This said at the same time while he brushed Izaya's hand away from his sleeve. It was an expensive coat, don't touch.

"I am now running a company for the benefit of Team Rocket." There was no point in hiding such information and he was certain it would become common knowledge eventually. He also could easily predict that there would be more annoying questions from Izaya in the immediate future.

News spread of Seth's return to base, almost the instant he drive in from the garage.
But surveillance got the news well before he was even in the HQ, and had been the first to tell the other in the tech department.

Agent Faleen, being one of them.

It had been some time since Seth had left, and his return, while surprising, was welcome in her opinion.

She suspected he knew about the problem they were facing with the missing group of Rockets, including the Boss Lucere's brother and the new head of the tech department.

Faleen left the other robotic engineers working for the time being, as she went to go see about meeting up with Seth.
she walked the halls, knowing if he was heading to the tech department there was really only one way he could go.
By the time she had intercepted the hall with the Elite on it, she found that another individual had already found Seth.
Izaya was the first to interact with the returning Elite.
To no surprise, she half suspected the informant had found about before even she did.

"Elite Seth." She said, walking over. "Sir, welcome back."

Of course as more annoying questions were expected of him, Izaya could not disappoint. "A company, ah? Would that be one in Camphoreon...?" he dared to ask. At least before he noticed the blonde hair of his partner out the corner of his eye.

Whirling about to face the agent, the grunt's face lit up brighter than ever. "Faleen-chan!" He leapt toward Faleen with open arms, by all appearances intending to embrace her.

Whether or not he accomplished his feat didn't seem to hinder his steady stream of words to Seth in the least. "See, Seth-sama? We've been ever so good since you left! Faleen-chan and I are the best of friends. We even have sleepovers! I'll admit I questioned it at first, but I really think your decision to make us partners really turned out to be a good one."
PostPosted: Mon Feb 06, 2012 6:53 pm

"Yes," was Seth's curt reply to Izaya just as Faleen suddenly appeared on the scene and welcomed his return. He nodded to her but suddenly Izaya was throwing himself at his partner, resulting in a rolling of the eyes.

"Good for you," was all Seth cared to say on the matter. If they chose to do sleep overs, that was entirely their business, not his.

It was then that he started walking again, whether or not the two decided to follow.

Rocket Agent Faleen

PostPosted: Mon Feb 06, 2012 7:08 pm

Well, she expected a greeting, but she didn't quite expect to have the taller, but skinnier man throw himself at her, this was obvious by the Agent's widening eyes.
It completely threw off the nice tall and professional stance that she had walking up with, taking a surprised step back to help brace her in case she did lose her balance, and her hands uncertainly though as if to catch him.

Eyes wide and blinking at Izaya a couple of times, before she placed her hands on his shoulders, allowing herself to stand back up straight again.
"Ah, uh hello Izaya." she greeted him next. Blinking at how he went on about stuff that was... for the most part not really true.

Seth continued walking, Faleen stared after him, then with a glance to Izaya before she shifted to follow after him.
"I take it you heard the conference the boss called? Is that why you're here today?"
PostPosted: Mon Feb 06, 2012 7:53 pm

"What's it called? Or are you going to play hard to get and make me look it up myself? Though I warn you, that method might involve some intensive stalking and spying. I hope you don't mind your privacy being invaded."

Somewhat peeved that Seth knew better than to let most of Izaya's words get to him by now, the informant bushed aside his minor irritation and continued along after the business man. But not without his partner, of course. Without a word to Faleen, he took her hand and strolled along in Seth's wake, though she had already started after him on her own.

Fortunately, he continued to remain silent as Faleen asked her question, curious himself as to the answer.

Seth sighed wearily as Izaya threatened to invade his personal privacy to find out information. Somehow he doubted this, considering that his stay was only temporary and there was not any likelihood that the grunt would even be able to reach him in Camphoreon. But it didn't really matter if the man knew or not.

"Kaiba Corp," he said at last. "Team Rocket's main supplier of technological parts and supplies. It is responsible for that Rocket Dex you use."

He then glanced back at Faleen as she asked her question and nodded. "That is why I'm here. Not to mention I heard that the man I left in charge of the tech division is also in Team Galactic's custody." The latter part said with a note of irritation.
