Michi Yuu Hey guys~ Just to give you a heads up, throwing a LAN party in the demon common room come Saturday night starting at 7. You can join via your own hexbox from your room, or come party it up here with me~ Tell your friends! If you're joining online, I'm SmokinMich. She had sent the text to everyone she had on her phone. Then she had also invited a few students via word of mouth at classes and in the cafeteria. The red skinned ghoul had managed to grab a few tvs in the common room and set things up through out the afternoon. Food from some local places, and enough seating for everyone right here! Comfy, wonderful seating. It was informal, relaxed, and exactly what Michi wanted for a down played 'party'. She was in the mood to do some killing on the machine, and ready to rock n' roll. Now she was just waiting to see if anyone was going to show up online or in person. She was logged in her hexbox, headset placed carefully on, and controller in her blue nailed grasp. Seated on one of the couches, she eyeballed first the door, and then the tv repeatedly. Who would show up? Heck, the smoke demoness had even invited a few people she didn't know. It couldn't hurt, right? OOC Feel free to join either on your own hexbox in your room or in person! I'd just ask that you make it clear at the top of your post if you're in your own room so it doesn't possibly confuse others in the common room! Thanks~ <3

Alex Hey Michi. Srry can't make it at rents house. Have Yin locked in bedroom but he's not into those types of games so will try to join l8r when finished

Of course Danny wasn't about to miss her best bud's LAN party. Even if she didn't know what a LAN party was.
She was the first one in the door, her arms filled with snacks, games and blankets. Why she hadn't put everything into a bag was beyond anyone. Instead she just had everything piled into her arms, looking like a crazed item collector.
Danny threw everything down next to the hexboxes and gave a toothy grin. "Michi!" she said excitedly, "Ready to get your butt kicked?"
Rikki would've loved this. It was no secret that he was an avid video game player. She smiled wistfully to herself, and then popped herself a seat next to her smoking friend.

One would never know how Mort got ahold of the LAN party date and time. Maybe it was his gamer senses tingling, foretelling the exact place he had to be. Or maybe he'd heard about Michi's party through other people. Or maybe Michi'd told him herself. He honestly couldn't remember, because the next thing the zomboil knew, he had a twelve pack of Croakacola and was passing the threshold into the demon's dorm. "Am not late, yes?" he queried, elated to see that someone had brought food as well. A LAN party was nothing without food.
Well, so he assumed. Mortimer had only ever attended one LAN party prior, and the boil there had had plenty of food. It was the longest, best party of his life.

Though Aksaja didn't have much experience with this type of thing . . . it sounded pretty fun, and also maybe like a good way to meet some new people. So when he got the text, the lightning dragon shrugged and then made his way over to the demon dorms on Saturday. He'd been over here before a few times to visit Riley, so it wasn't hard to find his way. He just hoped no one decided to get an attitude with him about being there. But he didn't have any consoles of his own so . . . what else was he supposed to do?
Glancing around at everyone, Aksaja offered them a bit of a wave. "Don't think any of us can be late at this point, since there's not many people here yet," he pointed out to Mort with a smile.

There were people here!! Michi's grin grew a mile long when Danny burst through the doors to be quickly followed by Mort. She had only briefly spoken to the zomboil but it was nice to see him show up!! Michi hopped up from the comfy couch and waved her tattoo'd arms wide. "Danny! Mort!! Thanks for coming guys!! And Danny, you're going down. I figured we could settle some scores tonight," her tone was pleasant and joking, as her dear hexbox friend was someone who was often on the same team with her it'd be interesting to play against each other tonight. And then someone she had never met walked through the common room dorms. Oh, hello nurse~! Ah, this was partly the reason Michi threw parties. To meet new boils to hit on. The red skinned ghoul flashed her smile at the newest addition to the party and swayed over to greet him. "Hi there, name's Michi. Glad you could show up, handsome." Ah, flirting was the spice of life. She waved to the tvs and various things set up around the room. There was more than enough space for the four of them to relax and start playing while waiting for others to show up. "Anyone wanna try me on some FEAR Caliber? Or maybe we could all play Left 4 Live til others show?" And she even managed to send a text off to Alex. Valeria Michi You have Yin locked in your bedroom... and you're going to join when you're finished? Kinky. Suddenly a lot makes sense cutie pie.

As Mort and Aksaja walked through the door, Danny gave them each a little wave. To Mort, she offered a blanket.
"Left 4 Live!" Danny's voice rang out immediately. It was her favorite game after all, of course that was her vote. She DID want to try out the new FEAR Calibur, but her heart would always belong to Left 4 Live 2. At least, until Left 4 Live 3 came out.
Noticing Michi's texting, Danny mischievously peeked over her shoulder and said, "Who ya textin'~~~" She put her hand out as if to grab the phone jokingly.

True that, Mister . . . Lightning lizard? Dragon, Mort corrected himself, dragon. Handy, though - someone who also handled electricity would be good to note! "Mortimer, Mort is short," he introduced himself to the new boil before chiming in with, "Would also n-not mind Left 4 Live, but . . . n-not so use with controller. Has on PreC. N-Never played n' Hexbox before." Slinging Danny's offered blanket over his shoulder, the zomboil shuffled over to set his twelve-pack down on a flat surface.

To be perfectly honest, Aksaja had heard of those games but never played either one of them. So he really didn't know how to make any kind of choice between them. Michi's flirting caught his notice, though. "Glad I'm here too," he replied easily, offering her a quick smile. Then he turned his mind back to the discussion at hand. "Uhm, anything is fine with me," he chimed in finally with a slight shrug.
Picking up a random controller, he started punching buttons experimentally and somehow turned on one of the consoles. "Erm. Don't worry, I'm probably going to be really bad at this too," he commented to Mort.

((ALEX IS NOT HERE, HE IS AT HOME))Alex's phone buzzed from where he had dropped it on his bed, and he looked at it again, horrified with what he was reading. He quickly started tapping at buttons on the screen, sending Michi a reply text. Alex Nononononono, you don't understand....will explain l8r busy now, but just. NO.

"Left 4 Live it is!" Grinning Michi took a seat next to Aksaja, winking at Danny as she did so. Partying was fun. Partying and flirting? Well that was even better!! "I'm texting Alex. He's at his family's for the weekend, so he's going to join us after he's done chillin with them. I think Yin is going to join us online too." She did not hand Danny the phone though, and instead pocketed the thing after sending Alex a text back. Michi Lol. Suurrreee. You'll have to explain later alright. See you soon. At least they weren't mad or whatever at each other anymore. She supposed that had mostly been on herself, but rightly so. Now things were almost normal for the red skinned ghoul. She started up the machine she was now sharing with Aksaja and quickly put it into split screen so they'd be fine sharing. "Don't worry, it's pretty easy as you figure it out boils. I'm the top screen, and you're the bottom screen cutie. If I can play it, so can you Mort!" She toggled through the start menu and left them waiting for their other party members. A quick grin and wink was offered to the boil she was sitting next to before she spoke up to Danny again. "So uh... anyone else you know coming?" Her thoughts were simple. PLEASE NOT ROCH. She really didn't get along with the guy.

Danny gave her friend a very, very confused look. "Y-Yin is going to play?" she said, somewhat amazed. She didn't even think Yin knew how to operate a calculator. He played Left 4 Live? Well she didn't doubt he could do it ... it was just ... surprising.
While Michi was busy explaining the game, Danny was busy picking her character. She was, over course, going to be Coach. The big scary bruteball coach. AW.YEAH.
"Let's play!" she said impatiently, waiting for the other boils to catch up on what was going on.
