Have fun with it, but I ask that you ONLY post once in this thread, and that one post be your profile. This is no place for OOC or IC chatter.
This gives the MOD's, owners, and the very loyal regulars/helpers (We know who we are wink ) a chance to get to know those hopefulls better.

Personality: OOC and IC are pretty similar. Stupidity is iritating, but can be tollerated when there is reason to tolerate it. Highly logical and high moral standards with higher standards of behavior for self than others. Interests are artistic and learning, or teaching. Intelligent to the point that it causes issues dealing with people, large systems, and doing normal stuff, because of the ability to look at things from different points of view. Underneath all this is a caring individual that seeks to help others.

Appearance Changes, for the most part (for now). The only thing that is for sure is the tan skin and the infamous pilot helmet. The jacket usually sticks around, but the clothes regularily change. She is short, about 5'0", full grown.
Personality Technically, there are two sides to Elf. The one that is mostly seen is her hyper side. She jokes around a lot and literally acts, well, weird. She can have her serious moments, and she generally keeps her beliefs under wraps; yet she brings them up as they apply.

Personality: Although generally quick witted there are times when she just cannot grasp a situation and she has a tendency to cry out and then panic if she was relying upon a certain thing to keep her out of trouble. Stress also has a tendency to make her faint. Nevertheless, should no crisis occur she's generally relaxed and pleasant to those around her - old friends will find that she is perfectly happy to publicly humiliate them with obvious signs of affection.PHYSICAL DATA Physical Appearance: Anadelle is rather petite and child like to some, she maintains a serene expression upon her face at all times (with the exception of when she's upset or panicking) and is otherwise normal. A Dream is a Wish
I decided that I should post my dream Herald and a little bit about her guardians in this thread. I'd thought about posting in here sooner but just never knew what to post. So with some prodding from Sukkubus, I'll attempt writing some information out. I don't like to dwell on too much detail when things are just concepts so it will probably seem very vague at some parts. The reason that Xiu Xue is also placed here is because while Adam will find the fallen angel, it'll be her that truly cares for Pamuy.
The Guardian - Adam Widou T'eve

Appearance: Human Form - Adam has medium long hair falling to his mid back. It is orange in color and pulled back into a tight braid. He has light colored skin with moonstone eyes, though they quite often appear to be silver or grey, hidden behind red tinted glasses. A baggy t-shirt and similiar baggy jeans with sneakers tend to make him blend in with the others around him. He appears to be a typical human shutting himself in at most times.
Gargoyle Form (Statue) - During daylight, a horrific statue seems to watch people from high above Durem. Oddly enough, it is not a gray statue of stone but a bright red statue. Each scale is carved in full detail on the ruby colored statue. A snout much like that of an alligator's filled with a forked tongue and sharp teeth seems ready to snatch up a rodent or human. A long tail curves up behind the dragon arching over the head as if pointing to its victim. Moonstone eyes reflect any light that shines causing oddly symmetrical designs upon the roof.
Gargoyle Form (Non-Statue) - A red skinned being with black hair and gray eyes, Adam is a formiddable opponent when in this form. Bat or demon like wings extend from his back, black bone ridges with red webbing in between each bone. His wings easily wrap around him, a notch of bone clasping together to make him look like he is wearing a cloak. He is very muscular with strong legs and talons. He has a black cloth around his waist and a single piece of jewelery falling around his neck, a silver cross necklace. It is not known why he keeps this or has it, to anyone but him.
Personality: Cynical to a fault, Adam is full of himself. He has a huge ego though he often succeeds in hiding it from others. He is rather cocky and seems to enjoy dancing with temptation. He doesn't like silence and will often find anything to say to end it. If asked why he dislikes silence, he'll often say the devil's whispers disturb him in times of silence. That is simply a cover for the fact that his madness drives him to action if silent for too long, he needs sound and conversation to quell the madness within. He is very prone to rage and many have fallen victim to this in more than one way, murder being the top consequence. He is also prone to sexual desires but despises sex when there are strings attached (not literally) leading him to prefer one night stands with strangers. He is very much the hunter though his patience often falls short.
History: Gargouille lived in the Seine river of France and was killed by St. Roman(us) in the 7th century. The great dragon's blood ran thick into the river only to be cleansed by God. His blood found it's way to Notre Dame where in the moonlight the gargoyles were torn in half. Some wanted the power of the great dragon, others wanted nothing to do with it. One gargoyle had the courage and foolishness to taste the blood and was instantly transformed into a man. Under the name Adam, he proceeded to become a priest only to moonlight in sorcery. During the day, he is turned into a statue that looks grotesque and nothing like him. The night is his only time to roam freely and as time has gone on, he has strayed from his beliefs though he uses his former priesthood as cover for his real intentions.

Note(s): A mild sorceror, Adam has not memorized many spells and thus scours for texts that will help him gather strength or return to his proper place. Originally he lived in an abandoned apartment near the church in Durem. However, after adopting Xiu Xue (a dog tahnee) from the Tahnee Orphanage he found an apartment though how he affords it is not known. Why he adopted Xiu Xue is not known though he doesn't seem rather fond of her or interested in her.

Appearance: Xiu Xue has soft blue hair that is pulled back into a high ponytail. She has gray eyes and snow white skin. Her dog ears and tail are a bit more gray in tone, though just as soft. She is a slender and covers herself up because of her sensitive skin.
Personality: Nurturing, Xiu Xue loves children. She's a rather happy person though being around Adam makes her rather irritated. Thankfully, she's a daytime person and when she's lucky she doesn't see him. She loves snow and in summer is found in the shadows keeping cool since her skin is prone to burning quite easily.

Name Meaning: Water Moon (in Hopi)

Appearance: With porcelain skin, one can imagine that she's a seashell. She has beachy blonde hair, the type that looks like the sun has lightened. Her elegant green eyes have an unearthy gaze, almost a sinking feeling emitting from them. Eventually she should grow interweaving locks of sea weed in her hair, or perhaps just a strand of green. Always relatively smaller than most her age, she'll start out slender but grow up to have some curves. The older she gets the longer her hair becomes though it'll never grow beyond her natural waist.
Personality: As a young one Pamuy is carefree and loves being close to people. This will change as she grows, finding that others are unworthy to be trusted by betrayal. Fragile when it comes to heart ache she will become one who wishes to build walls around herself and embraces the idea of punishing those who betray their loved ones. However, when or if she lures men to their death she will not remember during the day and think they were only vivid dreams brought on by the hatred of being betrayed.
Concept: Pamuy is based on a rusalka, a spirit that now is bound to the water however in some tales they are allowed to leave the lake at night to dance under the moon. Rusalkas are usually young women who were murdered by unfaithful lovers or died after refusing to go as far as their lover wanted them to. Filled by the will to avenge their own death, they lure unfaithful men into their arms before drowning them.

there is a reason for the name. The story of Faust is the story of a damned man and Fox thought that any child that would have the misfourtune to be stuck with would surely be damned.

Personality: Despite years of advice and "help," Florian has never been entirely sure of himself. He is generally a very cautious, polite man; endlessly fascinated by people, culture and language but often too nervous to approach the crowds that play so heavily into all but the later. When he can, Florian thrives on praise and doing well, the man lives to gain the respect of others and lives in constant fear of messing things up for people, or upsetting them. He is a good man, but a good man with some serious self-esteem issues.
Physical appearance: Florian has never really been in touch with fashion, and he really doesn't care. Typically, he wears a presentable, (if battered) blue or steel-gray jacket over one of those terrible sweaters very few people could be paid to take out of the store. Alternatively, he's a fan of ribbed turtlenecks. Beneath his eccentric garb Florian is an average-looking man of middling height, brown hair and brown eyes. His hair is somewhat neglected; though dutifully cleaned and kept, it is very rarely cut and has shelved off into the odd, long bangs guys get if they both have a widow's peak and are too lazy to cut their hair. ((I've seen it happen.)) In contrast to his hair, Florian is fastidiously clean-shaven in a desperate effort to stave off the "Oxford professor" look. This attempt is further foiled by the fact that Florian wears glasses, though he's stumbling through the process of trying out contacts.
Existing Character? Yes. Though I originally created Zarcaris for the masquerade, I have since used him in the Jumi's flatsale. I'm not sure if he got a slot or not, but if this is a problem for either shop I'll find an alternate character.

Personality: As expected, Styx is a bit of a morbid character. He enjoys researching off genetic mutations and murders and absolutely adores horror movies and novels. Once you get past that (and his unnerving appearence) though he is a rather friendly and loyal boy. Just...don't piss him off...

Physical Appearence: During the majority of the day, Nanako looks like any other Japanese teenager. Her hair is very dark brown and absurdly long, and her eyes almond-shaped and chocolate-brown. She is thin and about five-foot five with a pale complexion and a long nose. She wears exuberant clothing: lots of floofs and long sleeves and layers. During the witching hour (3 am), however, she appears as she did the day she died, as a six-year-old child, crying blood and slashed to ribbons with her lips sewn shut. Mercifully, she is generally asleep during this time.
Personality: Nanako is absurdly optimistic, friendly, and trusting. At times, she can be shy, but is generally not. She is helpful, caring, and absolutely loves cute little animals.
Past: Nanako was born into a seemingly normal Gaian Japanese family of a mother, a father, and a little sister Chiyoko, younger by 2 years. After their mother died in a car accident, Nanako's father began to abuse her and, on December the nineteenth in nineteen ninety-four, he took a kitchen knife to the poor girl, leaving her to bleed out on the kitchen floor. It is also said that he sewed the corpse's lips together to prevent the ghost from telling anyone what had happened. He then proceeded to smother little Chiyoko with a plastic bag, as she had been watching the whole ordeal from beneath the kitchen table.

With his love of writing, he often attempts to write short stories and, once, a novel. But, then he got distracted by something. History is another fascination of his, particularly ancient history. He absolutely hates being alone. Some would call him ‘clingy’, although he has never used the word to describe himself. He simply thinks of himself as a very social sort of guy. While very social, he doesn’t care much for actual sports. If he finds himself in a confrontation, Nate usually will back down, on the basis that he doesn’t want to upset people. Appearance: Unknown
Personality: Taliesin---named after an ancient Welsh prophet/bard---is, in some ways, the opposite of his guardian. While they are both very social and try to have an active social life, Nate is perfectly happy not being the center of attention. Taliesin (or Tali for short) is not. He does whatever he can in order to get that attention too, but Nate stopped him from putting bugs in people’s hair. So, instead, Tali took up music as a way to get attention. Eventually, Nate took the tuba away too, still wondering where the heck Tali had gotten it from. Since it seemed like Tali would find some way to make noise, Nate decided on a violin. Sure, it sounded like a cat being skinned alive for a while, but he has faith that Tali will get better. Plus, he sound-proofed Tali’s practicing room.
Unlike Nate, Tali does not back down when confronted; he prefers to stand and fight. While not exactly belligerent, Tali does not go out of his way to ingratiate himself with anyone, being far too proud for that. He would rather have people hate him for who he is than love him for a lie.

The Guardian - Cecelia Raes.
Nicknames: Cecy.
Age: 15.
Gender: Female.
Race: Boring, but true: Cecelia is totally human.
Height: Almost six foot. Almost.
Birthday: October 26.
Zodiac Sign: Scorpio.
Favorite Color: Blue. Or green.
Occupation: Student. With an after-school job at the local burger joint, Franny's.
Appearance: Cecelia is tall and slender. She wears her brown hair is a kind of curly bob. Her eyes are a really chocolaty color. Tan-ish skin. Her clothes mainly consist of brightly-colored, funky tee-shits that she gets from local thrift stores and dark bell-bottom jeans with frayed ends. Or yellow sun dresses. Known, if not by her oddity, by her infectious grin.
Personality: Generally a happy sort, though her inner monologue is somewhat pessimistic. She has a kind of off-the-wall sense of humor and is frequently amused by daily life and it's irony. A total artsy type, she enjoys acting, writing, drawing, and playing the piano. As a general rule, she is outgoing. Books are her "one, true passion". Cecelia is a romantic at heart, but wouldn't dare tell that to the guys she plays touch (and occasionally tackle) football with. Oh, and she's got a temper when provoked.
History: Pretty average. Her dad's a journalist who often travels and her mom's a part-time actress with a desk job during the day. Nothing terribly big has happened. Yet.

The Herald - Edward
Reason for Name: Well, Cecelia just plain liked the name and even though Mr. Darcy's name is Fitzwilliam, Cecelia couldn't bear to give the poor child THAT for a name. Admit it. It's a horrendous first name.
Gender: Male.
Sacrifice: A lovely green leather-bound copy of Pride and Prejudice. Unfortunately for Cecelia, that was a library book. She's still trying to explain that.
Favorite Color: Green.
Appearance: Edward's a bit.....odd with his pale skin, black tousled hair (that looks suspiciously like italic lettering), and large golden eyes. But Cecelia loves him just the same.
Personality: He is quiet, but not out of shyness. Edward tends to watch people, as if he is trying to see what "it" is all about. On some occasions, he displays a solemnity so beyond his age that it, well, it cracks Cecelia up. Very inquisitive nature and often asks Cecelia questions when he sees someone do something that he either A) doesn't approve of or B) is puzzled by. When Edward's angry, he seethes, unlike Cecelia who blows up.
Likes: Reading. Duh. And, strangely enough, painting. Sushi. Music.
Dislikes: Big storms. The sight of blood.
