[B] A game of tag (Dahlia x Hygiea)

It was her second attempt to locate the little senshi she'd met before in the park. A few days after their first meeting she'd returned with high hopes of running into the tiny senshi of herbs. But the park had ended up being barren, and though Dahlia had lingered and waited for a little while, in the end she'd left empty handed, but not entirely dissappointed. Good things came to those who waited and the cream colored guardian could be quite patient when the time called for it.

It had been almost a week now since they'd first met and Dahlia was trying again paws drawing her across the familiar playground. And tonight it seemed she'd gotten two for the price of ones. Somewhere nearby was a senshi, the power level about right for the tiny senshi, though it was impossible to be certain without finding her. And somewhere there was a youma lurking. Maybe they were together, maybe they weren't?

Her pace picking up, Dahlia's tail swayed in soft excitement, her ears pivoting forward for clues. Whether she found Hygiea or not atleast there would be something to entertain and amuse her tonight.

Homework, projects and family outings had kept Ridley from going on patrols. Not like very much happened on her patrols, most of the action came from when others called her to other parts of town, but she still enjoyed going out on the town in her powered form and feeling awesome.

So, when there seemed to be a break one night, she took the chance and excused herself out of the house without complaint. It seemed her parents were understanding that she wanted some outside time, being such an outdoors kind of girl - only putting a curfew on her and the demand for text messages at certain times. That was all fine; Ridley was going out, going on patrol and besides, she had made a promise to a certain guardian cat.

Sailor Hygiea came skipping onto the park, having changed when she was well enough from her home and before she got to the park itself. She was completely oblivious to the youma's power signature oh so close to where she was, but the cat. Oh, the little senshi spotted Dahlia as soon as she was in view and the small smile she held on her face could only grow.

"Daaaahlia!" She called out, filled with glee as she waved to the fluffy cat.

Aura's could be tricky things at times. They gave you a clue of what you were looking for, but at the same time could be incredibly frusterating in the lack exact placement. It often led to those 'so close, but so far away' moments of irritation. Dahlia had not quite hit that point yet tonight though, instead simply pondering over the seeming silence of the night.

She heard no screams or sounds of a tussle, so the youma must have still been lurking in hiding, perhaps even stalking. Or maybe just being lazy. Did youma get lazy? The cat had rather assumed that they lacked the brain power for lazy. Just brainless creatures running around on animalistic need and desires. Like bugs.

Her name called out in that high pitched glee, sent Dahlia's ears and body quickly pivoting towards the source, her surprise quickly overtaken by delight. Hygiea! Success!

Thoughts of the youma discarded, the cat quickly began to pad quickly towards the young senshi, tail held high, her kitty smile wide. "Ahhhh, look who it is."

"Good to see you again Hygiea." There was a soft rattle in her words, radiating from the purr that had already begun in her throat.

How could such a pretty and delightful creature be member of the bad side, Hygiea had to wonder as she knelt down to the ground as Dahlia padded over. For a brief moment, she wondered if ********* had been mistaken but she knew the Manx would never lie to her especially with something like this.

So she would be cautious like she had been told to do, but that didn't mean that she would stop giving her full attention and a little bit of devotion and love to the cream colored cat with a black star on her forehead.

Hygiea grinned, her arm extending when Dahlia was in reach to rub her gloved fingers through the tuffs of hair on the hairs head before they traveled to those fluffy ears, "It's awesome to see you Dahlia!" She chirped, "I'm sorry if I kept you waiting, it was hard to get away. I had a lot of homework and stuff," she added in explanation.

"Have you been keeping out of trouble?" She asked, not catching her words at first.

"We didn't set a date or anything." She offered the words to sooth the girl even as she seemed to completely forget about it herself, rattling with a happy purr as she 'helped' assist in the petting, pushing her fur into the welcoming hands. "And you're here now."

The guardian was oblivious to the thoughts of Hygiea, or the fact that she'd been tipped off. So she made no attempt to explain herself, simply assuming things were as they had been before. Little did she know, an oppurtunity to prove her 'loyalty' would soon raise it's ugly head, as the monster nearby had noticed the two powers signatures and it's interest had suddenly changed.

Tail flicking with contentment, her paws paced in place in happy motion. "I try to stay out of trouble. But I'm a pretty tough kitty when I need to be."

The little girl nodded, agreeing with the cream colored cat. There wasn't much to argue since they never had set a definite time to meet up; but the thought of Dahlia waiting everyday would probably break her heart, so she dared not ask if she had.

"You are built of tough stuff, aren't you," she grinned, brushing a gloved hand under the chaos filled cat. "********* has gotten herself in loads of trouble and eats so much cake but still manages to come out on top, and she's smaller than you.. so I'm sure you're like extra tough!" Knowing what she knew, and her mind catching up with what she was saying, there was a feeling of awkward comparing the two cats. But, that didn't seem to stop her mouth nor her hands as she continued to pet the guardian with affection.

The other dark creature went completely unnoticed by Hygiea, given her lacking in picking up power signatures and all. Only when there was a strange and heavy rustle in the bushes did the chibi senshi's attention get diverted. Her eyes turned and a hand remained on the guardian cat, just in case they needed to dodge at a moment's notice.

Perhaps she should call for back-up ... though, she did have a cat with laser beams with her.

"Do you think that's going to be trouble?" She wasn't worried, there was maybe even a little bit of a hint of excitement in her voice.
