Vol had been wandering for awhile now. No new contracts had been opened, and only a couple had been carried out fully. To say he was slightly miffed would be an understatement. This was getting a bit out of hand. He needed to have a tighter reign on his contracts and ideals. Soon he would become overwhelmed if he didn't do anything. There had to be a way to make this easier. Perhaps he would have to add the ability to promise a child to help him and learn the ways of the reaper instead of giving up another life. Of course... it would depend on the situation, but still. Sighing heavily, the dark pelted lion stopped. How would he make this easier for himself. Being alone working was really a pain, especially when the contracted wanted something strange, or obscure. It wasn't easy getting that sort of thing done. He wasn't supernatural after all.Slipping his mask off, Vol stood and stared at it. There was only a couple dark red stains on it. Meaning there had only been a few soul sacrifices made. How very pitiful.

Ammon wandered the lands aimlessly now as he tried to hunt down his sisters scent. Thus far his search had yielded nothing of value both in information and tracks but there was still time and it was still very early in the game. Thankfully he was a patient lion. It would only be a matter of time before he found her or a lead at least. Or so he kept telling himself. As for now he allowed himself to enjoy the journey he was making, trying very hard not to let himself get stressed by the fact that he was a terrible tracker.
For now he would simply allow himself some time to meet other creatures of the land and maybe have a bit of fun. Taking in a deep breath and then exhaling he stopped and closed his eyes, his head hanging low. "Just enjoy the trip Ammon." He told himself quickly, feeling his frustration building in his chest. His sister was certainly capable of protecting herself in these lands so he really had no necessity to rush. Lifting his head and opening his eyes he found himself trained on a dark figure not more then a few feet in front of him. From what he could tell it was certainly a lion and most definitely a male. He could tell that he had brown on him but his coat was mostly black with what appeared to be some red splashed on it. Curious to know why the male was stopped there he quickly bridged the gap between them, trying his best not to look like he was going to attack or otherwise. He certainly was in no mood for a fight. If ever really was in a mood to fight. "Hello there!" Ammon said with a friendly tone, a grin gracing his maw.

Vol's ear twitched slightly upon hearing another aproach him. However he did nothing to reply back, nor look at them. He was busy after all, and no one would approach him to attack. Not with how big he was, it scared too many he had realized early in life. A beautiful thing, really. It was his insurance.
Finally deciding he was done taking in the details of his mask, and realizing his needs, Vol turned around to greet his guest. He could only assume it was a male, the voice cued him in on that. However, what kind of male? Dark red eyed narrowed as he looked at the lion who was now in front of him. Ah. A lion. A bright pastel colored lion. Pretty even, with the kind of grin that would make the ladies melt. Not bad, not bad at all.
"Hello, is there something you need?"
His own face wasn't nearly as welcoming. If anything it was rather stoic and seemed, displeased? Yes, he probably did have that emotion still attached to his face. Things were not going as the should be, after all. It was getting to the point where he could be afraid for his own life if he didn't get what needed done, finished. Or at least, gather more contracts and find some apprentices.

When the male turned around Ammon found himself unsure what to say next not only by his response but his tone, and looks. He certainly didn't seem as pleasant he would have hoped. But not to be scared off by such a simple thing he continued to smile. "Something I need?" He asked a bit puzzled. Was there something he needed? Not particularly. Unless finding his sister was a need. Mmm, probably not. Though maybe it was in the eye of who saw the situation.
"I don't think I really need anything." Ammon replied, an eyebrow slightly raised as if he wasn't sure exactly himself if he did need something or not. "I noticed you from over there and was wondering what might be the reason for you standing here all alone." Ammon added, no longer smiling but his tone still friendly. "Is there something you need?" He asked before shaking his head. "My name is Ammon. I'm new to these lands, so I apologize if I am a bit.. Peculiar? Unaccustomed? No.. That's not quite the word..." Ammon said, turning his head from the male as he mouthed words, trying to find the one he was looking for. Of all the times to be tongue tied, this was certainly not one of them. "To friendly." His orange eyes settled back on the male, content with the choice of wording he finally said.

"Yes. Is there something your heart desires? Something you are searching these lands for but have not yet found?"
Vol's red eyes patiently rested upon the orange orbs the other lion had. Every single living creature of this world desired something. It was all in a matter of wanting it enough or being lazy enough to ask for help. What would this grey maned individual be for him? He certainly hoped he wasn't the proud type, there was nothing to gain from them.
"You don't seem so sure of yourself." Vol would have continued, but the pastel colored lion just continued on, adding this and that to the conversation. Among those was a name, Ammon. Interesting. No one should give up something so precious so easily. A pity really. Oh well, he would teach him the reasons as to why to never give up your birth name so easily later.
When he got to the explaining of why he was bothering Vol, the dark lion had just about had enough. Furrowing his brows, he moved a bit closer, almost uncomfortably close and breathed his words at the other. "That is enough. You are being rather rude in assuming you are too friendly for my company." His eyes glittered dully, void again of emotion, as if trying to coax the other to do something. Would Ammon feel ashamed or perhaps embarrassed for his awkwardness?

When the male approached closer, his face in his, Ammon stifled the growl that was growing in his chest. He really was not in the mood for a lion who was looking for a fight or otherwise. Though, maybe his wording had not been the best. Thus causing such chaos. Taking a step to the side of the male and then fully turning himself to face him again he sighed. "Friendly might have not been the best word to use." He stated before looking up at the male.
"I am not very sure of myself. At least not here." He stated truthfully. This was new, foreign and admittedly a bit overwhelming. Not frighting, per say. Ammon tilted his head a bit. He took several moments to consider his question. "My sister. But she is probably is quite a ways in these lands. Or perhaps joined a pride." He frowned. "Through my weeks of searching I have yet to find a scent or sighting of her. No one can give me any information on her either." Ammon felt himself growing a bit frustrated, to the point it was clearly coming through his tone. Taking in a deep breath Ammon calmed himself down. Then he realized something. His orange eyes darted up to the males red one's. "Why do you ask?"
