So, thanks to Perpetual In5aNiTy, I've seen the first leak of the Generation Three remakes
Ruby Version becomes... Blazing Ruby, and Sapphire Version becomes... Wave Sapphire
So, I've read this from a thread in the PokeForum.
It appears that, so far, the only real evidence towards the games that has been leaked, is main character art I can... Sort of see it.
They both have sort of... 'Hippie' glasses, I'll admit. Brendan, to me, looks like an edited Cheren, or just lacking his hat [Which added on could be a much better resemblance]. And May, sort of, in the slightest bit, is still resembling her former self. She does lack the original design [which I liked better], and sort of looks like a stripper to an extent... But, I guess that's just the 'style' chosen for this remake.
And no, I guess that, from what I've heard, that a remake of Emerald will not be coming out. That makes me upset, but, oh well.

I think May's remake looks awesome, and Brendan does look like Cheren wannabe. lol.

Eh, I'm sort of off and on with these.
They don't look great, but if that's what they're actually going to be, there's nothing to really say against it XD

The major thing I find disappointing in their appearance, is Brendan's lack of hat

I like May's outfit, but I'm not so sure about Brendan.
I think they should have stuck with Brendan's hair a little like they did with May. May's hair looks something like in the anime, but that's just me.

I just don't like the lack of resemblance.
I mean, you can still decipher that May is meant to be May. Whilst Brendan holds close to no resemblance. I think that they should have at least given him his hat as, to me, it's what stood out the most

I think that they should have at least given him his hat as, to me, it's what stood out the most Was his "hair" his hat or was it just the band around his head that made his hair look like that?

Lol, okay
People often do confuse his hat with his hair. In his game art, you can see the line where his hair hits the headband
