The ground squished between the toes of the bright lime colored lion, a fart-like noise erupting as he laid more weight onto the earth. It had been raining for quite some time now, which reminded him why he wasn’t a big fan of the rainy months. Mud, so much farting mud, and all around him, oh, and bold crocodiles as well. That was never a nice thing to run into while travelling! Snorting loudly he had to laugh; even he was getting depressed by all this rain. He had to make the most of it and not be so darned grumpy. Shaking his thoughts away he decided to think positively.
Perhaps he will meet someone in the rain and enjoy a great night under the stars with them. They could paint muddy pictures upon each other’s sides then thrash about the mud in some sort of wrestling contest. Yes… that would make for a great day.
Smiling from the thoughts of finding someone and tackling them in a big mud puddle, Tuvic eyes lit up upon seeing a lioness in the distance. Was this his lucky day?! Tail twitching he gauged the area, no one to the left, none to the right. It was just him… and her and mud. Yes, this was his lucky day, and before he could think of anything else he was gone, rushing towards the female with the grace of a water logged gazelle. Which… of course isn’t graceful at all, but still... Rather amusing to watch.
"Helllllooooooooo there!!!"

Rain was a wonderful thing. The skies had been rather dark the past few days, which meant moving around while the sun was up was much easier than usual. With skin as sensitive as hers, she often had to stop and take shelter under normal conditions. Even if she didn't clock much distance in one day no matter the weather, it was nice to spend less time resting when she actually wanted to be walking. The earth was far too wet, but that wasn't wholly uncomfortable, either. Mud squished between her toes, but her ankles felt cool. That was the way to do it. Maybe, just maybe, once she had journeyed as far as she would, Ivanna would stop for a mud bath. If it was still raining then, it would be pretty easy to get rid of most of it.
Speaking of rain, she stopped just long enough to shake out her fur. That was when his voice met her ears. It was sort of hard to hear, but judging by the sound, it really had been meant to be loud and obnoxious. Eyes narrowed to the distance and caught sight of what was probably the source. He had made up a lot of ground between the time she heard him and now, because the color of his coat and the weasel-like look on his face --she swore it was plain as day even from here--were coming into focus. No. No. She was not going to deal with this.
There was a moment of inner turmoil, but it was hard to tell with her expression as deadpan as it was. Without offering as much as a nod, she immediately turned around and started walking back the way she had come. Though she wouldn't outright run, he wasn't worth it, she was walking at an obviously faster clip than before.
