Fights, it should be said, are hell on one’s wardrobe. It had slowly crept up on her at first; a tear in a jacket here and there was just shrugged off or earned it a place at the bottom of her clothes box. Eventually though it had ended up with her looking into the box and finding nothing to wear at all, just a whole bunch of torn cloth.
Which was, problematic.
She didn’t have enough seeds to go buy new stuff nor the ability to fix them up; sewing had never been a skill of hers. But she did have a friend that could.
That’s what brought Mandy to Lizzy’s door with a bundle of torn cloth in one hand and the other raised knocking at the door.

Lizzy was actually learning how to make pancakes. Or rather, she was trying to learn how to make pancakes; earlier, she had gone down to the maul and grabbed all the ingredients that the recipe said that she would need, but after combining them all together... Well, she was actually a little nervous about starting the fire and cooking the pancakes.
What if it set her room on fire?
Thus, the knock on the door proved as a decent distraction; the bowl of pancake mix was covered with a cloth, the apron she was wearing was pulled off and hung over the back of a chair, and her hands were washed. Then, after making sure that she looked presentable, Lizzy dashed over to the door, opening it without checking who is was first.
"Mandy?" She was surprised to see the drop bear there, since it had been a while, but it was a nice sort of surprise, to see an old familiar face, "Hello!"

"Hey Lizzy. How you been?" Mandy asked with a lazy smile when she saw the ghoul in what seemed to be good spirits. She'd heard there might have been something going on around the time of the play but with everything that had gone on then she'd never followed up.
Deciding to actual explain why she was turning up at Lizzy's door, because as nice as random friendly visits where it was rather obvious to anyone that knew her Mandy was not the type, she pulled out from the pile in her arm one of her mostly shredded jackets, "I was wondering if I borrow some of your expertise help with these?"

"I've been fine, thank you!" She nodded before smiling sheepishly, "After all, I'm still alive, aren't I?" Probably not something to joke about, but she had died and reformed so many times in the past few months that she was just glad to be in one piece and not under some sort of eminent danger.
"Oh dear," She looked at the poor jackets in Mandy's arms before nodding, taking them from the ghoul before stepping aside to let her in, "Some of these... Should be able to be fixed up quickly enough." Others looked like they might take more than just quick fixes to look good again.
"And how have you been?"

"Being alive is generally agreed upon as being a good thing." Mandy was all for morbid humour if Lizzy was going to start it. Besides, with how much everyone did dissipate these days as tragic as it was at the time it tended to get a bit... ridiculous when you looked back.
Following the ghoul into her dorm room Mandy let out a sigh of relief when she heard some of them could be fixed. "Thanks for this Lizzy, you're a life saver."
"I've been pretty good. Nothing to complain about." in fact she'd been kind of bored despite recent events with the Horsemen. She was worried what it said when danger became normal. She guessed it's what happened when you couldn’t for the moment actually do anything about it.
Mandy took a moment to glance around the room, noticing the abandoned apron and covered bowl, "Where you making something?" Mandy asked curiously and half hoping she hadn't interrupted anything important.
Her meagre cooking skills let her know that some dishes where time sensitive.

"No problem at all!" It had been a while since she had sewn anything, anyway, so this was a good thing! Grabbing her sewing kit from her desk drawer, she invited Mandy to take a seat on her bed while waiting before sitting down at her desk, bringing out the needle and thread.
"Well, that's a relief to hear! With all these things happening all at once, I'm just glad that each day could still feel normal!" Starting with the jacket she thought just needed minor fixes - mainly holes and a few tears - she addressed the ghoul without actually looking up from her work... That was, until 'making something' was mentioned.
Then Lizzy just looked a little embarrassed as she looked up briefly.
"Oh, that? Just some pancake mix I made earlier..." She cleared her throat, and went back to sewing, "Honestly, I've never cooked anything in my life before, so I thought I might try... You know, start with something most people said was 'simple' to make."
