Today had been one of those days for Aras, she had met the perfect guy and everything was going great. There she lay on top of piece of flat grey rock only a few miles from where the guy and his children resided. She actually could feel herself being happy again since her memory loss, yet still she could feel some piece of her was missing. "Arghhh...." she moaned out-loud as she took her front paws and put them to her head. Why couldn't she just figure out what that piece was or at the least why wouldn't it just leave her heart alone!

Hasha had been wandering around the borders edge for awhile. So many things were on his mind lately and he just couldn't seem to get them off. If only they could leave him for a moment, maybe then he could get some decent hunting done. That was all he could think as he walked paw in front of paw on the dirt ground. "Man .... thoughts," he whispered under his breath as he walked. As he walked he suddenly forgot that watching his walk way was an important thing to do. So with an unexpected twist he ended up walking right into a huge grey boulder.

Aras was quickly dragged out of her thoughts as she felt the boulder she sat on move. "What the ..." she said out-loud before looking around her as fast as her head would turn. Her defenses were up and she was on alert. If it were danger she was ready for them and wasn't going to let them surprise her. It took a few moments before she looked below her and noticed something bright orange with what looked to crossbones on them. Not only that but there face was covered in some sort of dark pelt, a pelt that made looking into there real eyes impossible. "Who goes there," she said in a monotone voice as she stood to her feet on top of the boulder. As much as she hated fighting, with her memory lost she wanted to start being more prepared for trouble and this was one way she had thought would be best to attempt.

Shaking his head a bit he quickly got back to his surroundings. It didn't take him long before he heard the voice, and with each word they spoke his head was pounding harder in his skull. "I'm a friend!" he said quickly an kindly through the throbbing in his head. "I mean you no harm at all, I am simply looking for a place to clear my head," he said before continuing with a chuckle, "though I think this rock had other ideas for me." He had no idea where the other person was located at but from the sound of their voice they seemed close. Close enough that most would consider it dangerous, but he just figured if they were going to fight him they would have done it already. Though instead they were civilized and talking before acting upon there intruder, he liked them already.

Hearing his response Aras let up a bit and relieved some tension in her being. She let out a chuckle about the rock bit, it was good to meet someone with a good sense of humor for once. "A friend? Well then it is wonderful to meet you," she said with a smile as she laid herself back down onto the boulder, "I'm Aras, and you are?" After she said that she looked down him and tried to observe him more. He seemed almost like he was wearing that pelt to keep people away, but yet he seemed so kind. Hmm she wondered just what guy had run into her sitting place today. Was he a gentlemen with a pelt to keep him warm or was he a pretender roaming the lands. Well which ever it was she couldn't care less since they both sounded fun. Plus maybe he held a key to her past if she was lucky, or even an answer to her current dilemma.

As he listened to what sounded like a female voice he suddenly got the idea to look upward. It was then he noticed some black front paws and a red pelted female looking down on him. "Well hello Aras, I am Hashsha'shin," he replied with a small bow. "I apologize in advance for my wardrobe but I will say it is very warm and helps me not think too much about my life and its issues." As he finished his words he realized he was running, running away from life and not allowing himself to have the pleasures of living and all that comes with it. If someone were like him their life may seem easier without life's issues but in reality it was just has hard not worrying about them as it was just dealing with them.

Aras nodded and listened politely, so it was just as she figured he wasn't that bad of a guy and maybe just maybe he was quite decent. At least with his tone of voice he sounded quite intelligent, and he also sounded wise. Well aside from the not trying to think about his own problems that is. "I see well its nice to meet you as well Hashsha'shin," she replied calmly before continuing, "Well it definitely does look warm and I can understand problems. I wish i was like you, though I'm afraid I can't run from my problems. At least not these problems with my heart." Something in her wasn't sure if he could help but she decided to tell him more anyways. "You see I lost my memory some time ago, I don't remember anything from my past and only have this locket to stand in for the memories I don't. Well lately I have been feeling different almost whole, well since I met this guy that is. He is wonderful and everything a girl could want. Plus he accepts me even though I have no idea who I once was. The only problem is I feel like I still have one piece of me missing and want to know how to fill that tiny void that is keeping me from giving him all of me.

He listened to her every word and nodded since he understood where she was coming from and was actually enjoying listening to her story. "I see well not all can run and with your problem I definitely would not recommend running.Love is one of Earth's great gifts. As for the piece missing in you I think your mind wants to know where you have been, so it can know where you’re going. The only thing is I believe you already know where you are headed, you love this fellow it is obvious to me a simple passerby-er and I believe that if you spend more time with him your heart may calm down. An if you can't offer him all of your heart just offer him what you can give. One day you will find your past, but know you should just enjoy being in love." with those words he stood there quiet and smiled towards her. He hoped one day he would be like this lioness and find someone he loved as much as she did this fellow.

Aras smiled at his advice and thought for a few moments before answering. "Thank you, you have given me something to think about and I believe your right. My heart may be afraid to love, but I won't let it be. I will hit the ground running before I run from love. I really appreciate you lending me an ear and I hope one day we may run into one another again. I'm afraid right now though I need to go see him and talk to him," she said kindly and began, "I do wish you well on your travels though and I will never forget your wisdom." with those final words she walked off with a smile and a clear head. She now had a goal set and nothing would get in her way ever again not even her past.

Hasha nodded as she left and whispered to himself, "I will never forget you either and I hope one day I will find what you have." as she walked away he went his way as well with a new thought in his mind. Did he really want the life of a rouge of did he want something more? He though he never had a family, he knew inside he always wanted one and hopefully thanks to this female Aras he could find one. As he thought of that he lowered his hood to his shoulders and walked away to begin a search for something new.
