Amphi had been getting braver as far as swimming in public. Most knew now that she was a mermaid and she didn't have to feel so shy about her natural form, especially since many students found that natural forms were just well...natural. She had gotten use to the students mostly and adored many of them, finding that this was much like her old home.

So when she decided to buck up and finally go swimming in the open pool, instead of secluding herself to her aquarium or to the pools deep in the forest (that latter was not a option anymore seeing as hunters seemed to prowl about there.), She had jumped right in, Laughing as she hit the water with a elegant glide barely causing a whisper of a splash.

Ah. Her legs melded together in a instant forming into a tail that she gave a happy wiggle in. Letting her hair go and collecting the Landwalker clothes that floated around her, she dropped the clothing off on one side of the pool and then lapped around. Oddly enough, the pool was deep, about 20 feet at the deepest point as she made herself comfy there, blowing bubbles and such.
