It had certainly been a while since Senna had seen the inside of the arena. She didn't know what the long break had been for, or what good it might have done her. All she knew, at this moment, was that the little confidence she had gained in her last fights had waned, and now, she was feeling somewhat terrified once again.
What if... she didn't do well? It wouldn't have been the first time... The striped Mokai's pointed ears lay flat against her head, and she looked imploringly up at Devin, seeking some reassurance.
Almost immediately, she felt his gentle pat upon her back, and her long tail curled to touch him back. It was good to know that she was wanted and loved, and that doing poorly wouldn't mean that she would find herself dumped on the side of the road some day. She belonged.
The thought brought some strength back into her shaky legs, and as she moved into the chute, she took a breath. It was time to come back.

Attack: 5% Defense: 6% Speed: 3% Agility: 5% Intelligence: 8%  Magnus come out of the gate and glared at her opponent across from her.Although she had been out of the game for some time, Roel had made sure to at least keep her fight by walking her. She didn't understand why he hadn't gotten her in the ring so they could make more money but she didn't care anymore, she was in the ring now and that's what mattered. She was going to rip this other mokai apart. If this was the underground by goodness she could attack this whelp without a second thought. So she waited for the bell instead, hoping it would come quickly so she could serve this pup up.

Intelligence: 8% The chute doors stung open, and for a second, Senna stood, bewildered once more by everything she saw. Across the ring, she saw her opponent - a fierce-looking opponent - readying herself for the upcoming fight. And it would all happen again, all the clawing and scratching and biting, and then the bell would ring and away they would come. The sequence played out in her head like a familiar refrain.
So what was she waiting for? Dimly, she heard Devin's voice chuckle in her head and tell her, "Well, go on then, lass, go get 'em," and she bolted from the chute.

Magnus charged her opponent who seemed to dumbly stand there staring into the ring. What a fool! Their impact when they collided sent stars about her head though and it was tough to right herself for a moment. Slashing at her opponent she felt pride.

Intelligence: 8% The impact of their crash sent her reeling, but she dug her claws in to steady herself, long tail swinging to correct her balance. She felt the other Mokai's claws slash across her shoulder, and reacted instinctively, plowing forward with her head lowered in a headbutt meant to shove her opponent off balance.

Magnus gave a surprise yelp at the other headbutted her enough to push her down. She had not been expecting such force! Momentarily dazed, she swayed on her paws trying to right herself until she could make a retaliation attack.

Intelligence: 8% Senna hopped backward, hoping to evade her opponent's counterattack. The headbutt had been something of an experiment, and she hadn't expected it to work as well as it had. The striped Mokai thought it wiser not to counter on such luck.
Moving forward again, she pushed off from her hind legs, fangs bared and ready to sink into whatever she could reach. It was all just a matter of time now.

Magnus snarled as she felt the other grab her and she tried to shake the other off. To come back into the ring with this opponent was very refreshing, hopefully she'd get back into fighting shape. She went to slam her paws at the other.

Intelligence: 8% x 9 = 72 She tightened her grip, hanging on as long as she could, but the shaking threw off her balance, and no amount of adjustment with her tail would help. The striped Mokai relinquished her bite reluctantly, bouncing back to take stock of the situation before throwing herself back into the fray.

Agility: 5% x 2 = 10
Intelligence: 8% x 5 = 40
Just as she went to bite the other the bell rang to signal an end to their fight. It felt as it if had ended too soon! Magnus wasn't even as tired as she usually was, maybe it was all the walks to build her stamina. It did frustrate her, but the fight was over and there wasn't much she could do about it.
