Long story short, my mum's boyfriend bought me a purse a couple years back. It's made entirely out of leather with very long pieces of fringe that have beads strung onto them. The reason the beads stay on is because the spot where each one rests is compressed somehow, so they can't slide over the stiff ridge of the leather.
Unfortunately, sometimes they do anyway, and I try to save every bead I can. Half are just plastic so I think I can replace those, but there are a few white ones made out of some sort of stone that I don't think I can replicate exactly in color.
How do I get them back on the leather fringe without trying to pull them back on? The leather is too thick to just slide them back on, and I know from experience if I try the end of the fringe will just snap right off. I don't want that to happen anymore. Does anyone know enough about leather to be able to tell me how I can replace the beads that fall off?
I tried to explain it as best I could but if you need some pictures I'll gladly upload a few. ^^ Thanks guys.

You might try a leather conditioner on the fringe, to soften it up so it won't break so easily. Once you get it softened enough, you slide the beads on, and a drop or two of a clear glue on the bottom most bead should ensure that they stay in place.

Well awesome, soon as I have the time I'll fix it. Thank you so much, by the way. ^^
