~::Tanabata Festival (July 6-July 7, Inaba Shrine)::~ [Festival Grounds - Main Area]
Located in the Northern District of Downtown Inaba, the Inaba Shrine is the site for the yearly Tanabata Festival, which this year is being thrown in conjunction with the celebration of the new Emperor's coronation by the Mori Shogunate. With several events and booths set up for the next two days at the Shrine and attendees from all over the country taking the train to the rural town to enjoy this celebration, the town is as lively and festive as it has been in months. Different colored lights, streamers, and booths line the walk of the Shrine all the way to the stage set up before the very front of the temple itself.
Each night will have different events, but each night of the Festival will cap with a Fireworks Display in this, the Main Area of the Shrine. Beneath the light of the exploding stars above, may the wishes of the blessed lovers be granted! Quote: Event Rules 1. Open both nights, this is the main ground for attendees of the Festival to hang out and observe the many booths without actually stopping in to play the games. When you wish to play a game, please to to the actual forum for the booth. 2. Each night, the Festival will end with a spectacular Fireworks display at this area! [This is not an event, but a main area, a general forum for attendees to the events to hang out and speak with one another, to observe the Festival grounds and eventually, watch the fireworks in the sky.]

* ~:: Yasoinaba's Tanabata Star Festival ::~ * (2-Night Tanabata Celebration at the Inaba Shrine - Sponsored by the Mori Shogunate) Welcome to the Tanabata Night Star Festival in the lovely Inaba Shrine!
Starting tonight and continuing through tomorrow at midnight, this Festival celebrates the meeting of the deities Orihime and Hikoboshi (represented by the stars Vega and Altair respectively). According to legend, the Milky Way separates these lovers, and they are allowed to meet only once a year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month of the lunisolar calendar. Orihime, daughter of the Tentei, wove beautiful clothes by the bank of the Amanogawa. Her father loved the cloth that she wove and so she worked very hard every day to weave it. However, Orihime was sad that because of her hard work she could never meet and fall in love with anyone. Concerned about his daughter, Tentei arranged for her to meet Hikoboshi who lived and worked on the other side of the Amanogawa (the Milky Way). When the two met, they fell instantly in love with each other and married shortly thereafter. However, once married, Orihime no longer would weave cloth for Tentei and Hikoboshi allowed his cows to stray all over Heaven. In anger, Tentei separated the two lovers across the Amanogawa and forbade them to meet. Orihime became despondent at the loss of her husband and asked her father to let them meet again. Tentei was moved by his daughter’s tears and allowed the two to meet on the 7th day of the 7th month if she worked hard and finished her weaving. The first time they tried to meet, however, they found that they could not cross the river because there was no bridge. Orihime cried so much that a flock of magpies came and promised to make a bridge with their wings so that she could cross the river. It is said that if it rains on Tanabata, the magpies cannot come and the two lovers must wait until another year to meet.
It is a tale of star-crossed lovers, and Tanabata is most certainly a celebration of love! The love between a man and a woman, the love between family members, and the love between friends who simply wish to enjoy their youth and the times that they still have left together. It is a night for reflection on the years past, the loves past, and the friendships that have come and gone. And it is a time for peace and happiness for all who wish to be blessed by the stars above. That is why each year the celebration is held, why each year people hang their papers from the tree, let fly their paper lanterns, and set their wishing boats to sail. With booths of all different varieties at the Festival, pageants for the lovely ladies who come out to celebrate, and a fireworks display that is second to none on each night of the Festival, it is truly an experience to never be forgotten! And you as well, may find your love in this place...if you wish hard enough, you may be blessed by the stars. ...Will you be so blessed? Close your eyes and make a wish...
The time for a miracle is now...the Festival's gates are now open!
May the stars shine down upon you until the end of your journey! And may love find you here, at Inaba's Tanabata Night Star Festival! Quote: Festival-goers [you] may now begin posting here in the Main Area of the Festival Grounds!
You may attend any booths now that are Open! If a booth does not open until the Second Night, you may not post there yet...
...Enjoy the Tanabata Star Festival!!!

Ƞιx Gαɭɭеɳ ✻ The ƒℓσωєɾѕ are set alight ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ After an awkward conversation, and mending, with Jo(shu) they were finally over the incident that caused them to evade each other. Nix was able to find a nice new yukata and an accessory to match. The yukata she found was mainly a dark shade of blue with splashes of green and red sticking in the form of fireworks. In her hair was an red-orange and yellow flower clip with two pale yellow ribbons hanging down from it. She thanked her lucky stars that she had enough for it and was able to have some left over for the booths. The biggest miracle was being able to leave the house with little to no problems.
As Nix walked towards the shrine she sang a soft slow tune to herself, it was a traditional song folks sang on this day so it seemed to fit. "The bamboo leaves rustle, shaking away in the eaves~. The stars twinkle on the gold and silver grains of sand. The five-color paper strips I have already written. The stars twinkle, they watch us from heaven~." There was something about the festivities that got her in higher spirits, perhaps it was because she finally got a break from all the craziness that seemed to hound her lately. This was the kind of break everyone needed and what better way for it than to spend it here?
"I wonder if I'll run into the others.. There are a lot of people so I'm not sure how likely that it. Although it would be nice to have someone to visit the booths with. Maybe I should've second guessed my choice to come alone." Quote: Nix has headed over to the Fish Scooping Booth! ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ Sραɾкʟιɴɡ, dancing, releasing a ɓʃυҽ ɗɾҽαɱ ✻

Aselia, Rednal, and YunoAah, festivals. Something he'd yet to grow tired of. Part of it was probably the fact that he hadn't gone to very many while growing up; living in a hospital, with heart problems, kind of precluded going out to energetic festivals. He also continued to enjoy his habit of people-watching... though not, perhaps, as he enjoyed the company of the people he'd brought along. All three of them were wearing new outfits; indeed, much of the afternoon had been taken up by shopping. Yuno had outgrown her old outfit, and Aselia, well... she hadn't had such an outfit to start with. Or... she hadn't brought it with her when she came here... Erm... Really, it was kind of hard to tell sometimes, considering that Aselia tended to mime everything. Point was, she didn't have one. So they'd fixed that, and it did his heart good in a surprisingly literal sense to see the way the girls were enjoying themselves now. Less good had been Yidhra's semi-serious attempt to join in... though, looking back on it, he could laugh at that, too. Still, Yuno quite cheerfully held onto his arm and pulled him towards the food stalls. Aselia was already nibbling on a chocolate-dipped banana, clearly enjoying the festival treat as she looked around at all the other booths. Well, the big question was... where to start? Hu hu hu... so many choices, and they even had a second night to try and get them all. Maybe he'd just flip a coin or something.

 Naomi Fujiyoshi
The Inspired Idol Naomi strolled through the main area of the fair taking in the sights of the area. There were so many stalls where should she start? One of her other options was to start hunter for friends and tag along with then after all going to the fair all alone would be so sad and boring. She started scouting around the area looking for any familiar faces, this was such a big place and there was a fair amount of people she'd never seen before. Naomi kept wandering around eyeing up what stalls she wanted to check out, chances were that there was at least one person in the area that she knew in one somewhere around here, after all Nix said she was planning on going, so that was at least someone that could be here, she just had to find out where they were. Although Naomi didn't want to seem like a nuicence if someone didn't want her around, there was always the chance that someone could be here on a date, she didn't want to break something like that up."I can always try to make some new friends I seem pretty good at that... sometimes." she called out loud even although what she had said was meant to stay in her head, she was getting excited to the point that she started thinking out loud.

Things may have gotten off on a rough start but the night was starting to look up. She won a prize at the shooting gallery and had a mask to enjoy. Still.. She wanted to try that turtle game again but knew she would most likely fail it again. Now that she looked back at where she was Amelia was at the shooting booth but she didn't want to bother her if she was still playing. Yue was still trying to catch turtles.. So she was still without a person to hang out with. Then again it was her fault for coming alone and all. "Hmm.. What to do next? I'm sure there are a lot of other things to see around here." ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ Sραɾкʟιɴɡ, dancing, releasing a ɓʃυҽ ɗɾҽαɱ ✻

Ɏυқɩқσ Åɱαgι ✽✽✽✽✽✽✽ It had been a crazy morning. Or better to say, a crazy couple of days. People started reserving rooms since the day before, and they started arriving late last night or very early this morning. And they continue coming and going throughout all day, giving little or no time to herself; to take a breath, even. Getting rooms ready, making sure they were exactly how the guests wanted them (and double checking no mistakes were done)...Really, she was extremely sorry about that confusion with one...or well...two of the rooms reserved the day before. She was sure she had heard her mother say one room, but... she hadn't made any mistakes, right? And well, they did try to change it back, but...by the time the mistake was noticed, there weren't any rooms near to each other (or many rooms left, to begin with). Hopefully, the guests would understand...and it wouldn't be too much trouble. A small sigh escaped the Amagi heiress, shoving the thoughts of the inn to the back of her mind. Her mother had given her the chance to attend the festival, arguing that with everyone there, the inn wouldn't be short on people. And if she kept thinking about what she needed to do instead of having fun, well...then the night wouldn't be enjoyable.
So, the dark haired girl had agreed in the end, quickly changing away from her clothes and to a pink yukata with flower details on the sleeves, the dark green obi giving it a nice contrast, and had arrived at the Festival not so long ago. Eyes took in the decorations, as she carefully searched for people she knew among the mass of Festival goers. It was a magical sight really...the lights, the streamers, the soft music playing in the background almost drowned by the chit chat of couples walking past, and the laughter and running of the children. There was something warm about it...a characteristic of the small town she loved, that had been lost with all the chaos in town, but that was quite visible at the moment. Inaba...Inaba was back to normal...at least for this night, wasn't it? The onyx haired heiress smiled warmly at the thought, her legs wandering with no specific destination. Right now, she was just looking for the guys...Would Kanji and Naoto come together? Would Chie and Yosuke be here? Would she see Teddie trying his beary charms with any girls he finds? Would she meet with Rise...with Soji? She hoped for it, festivals like this meant to bring spirits up, to have some time together.

◤ Shikari Hibiki◢ ↘ -->"Calling your name out, If you could only hear me now..." Today seemed to be like a nice change of pace for once. Well, that was mainly because he had been spending far too much time at the gym. Akihiko practically had to ban him from the gym today just so he would get out of the place. He had to admit though, he was glad that they got him away from the gym. It had been quite some time since he had spent some good time with Mikuzaki as well. He hadn't told her that he was coming here though to surprise her, and well, he had to just hope he would at least bump in to her. "I wonder where she could be..." The boy thought to himself as he lightly rubbed the back of his head in wonderment. He had decided to join in the festivities and decided to get himself a Yukata just for today and tomorrow. He wore a dark blue yukata that was lined with black to give it a plain but nice look to it. It wasn't something he was use to, but he didn't want to feel left out whenver everyone else was just about dressed for today. It looked like there was a good amount of people here today, but so far he hadn't seen anyone else from the S.E.E.S.-2 group. Did any of them even decide to show up? The boy shrugged as he wandered around the Shrine looking for his girlfriend within the groups. It surely wasn't going to be easy since there was so much going on. Maybe someone had seen her? Shikari decided to approach someone in hopes of finding her. "Excuse me," Shikari said as he tapped the silver haired girls shoulder lightly. "Have you seen a girl about this tall, brown hair, and loves energy drinks?" Shikari asked her as he even leveled up his hand to about below his shoulder to even show how Mikuzaki could be. Of course though, he was probably over-exaggerating her height, and well, probably didn't give too much of a good description of her, but it was still worth a try! Nekama Kobayashi
I searched one day For your smile with those tender eyes, Nekama held her sleeve to her mouth to hide her slight smile as she arrived at the festival. Her cheeks were a rosy sort of pink as she glanced around at the festivities before her. She was dressed appropriately for the even in a creamy blue Yukata patterned with white diamond shapes and accented with a pink sash. Her hair was styled up and wound around a lily comb and there was even a little make up on her eyes, it was evident that her mom had enjoyed dolling up her daughter before sending her off to the event. The small girl felt pretty and had enjoyed spending the little time that she had with her mother, after seeing so much death and destruction, the little things seemed to mean more. Nekama's smile grew a bit as she took a moment to look over all of the booths that were lined up, there were several interesting games and she wouldn't be lying if she said she did not know where to start!
It was swaying in my heart Sunflower blooming in the night sky

Ƞιx Gαɭɭеɳ ✻ The ƒℓσωєɾѕ are set alight ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ Nix was watching people walk by, trying to see if she knew any of them. She saw Yukiko arrive but their last meeting ended on a rather.. Bad note. If she recalled correctly Yukiko was angry with everyone since it was the day of the hospital incident. Them causing a big scene at the hospital to be exact. Just remembering that day made her feel guilty again. Besides she didn't know some of the other team mates well enough to go and say hello out of the blue. She would still have to apologize to her at some point when the time is right.
Then a tap on the shoulder brought Nix out of her thoughts. She looked over to see a boy with black hair. He was searching for someone and was asking for her help. The girl took a moment to think back and see if she remembered anyone fitting that description. "I'm sorry but I don't think I saw anyone like that.. I can help you search for her though. Looking for one person in this crowd will be hard for one person." She stood up and turned to face Shikari. He didn't give her a lot of information but hearing that she liked energy drinks told her that the girl must've like sugar. There was a Sweet Shop that had a booth set up so that would be a good place to check first. ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ Sραɾкʟιɴɡ, dancing, releasing a ɓʃυҽ ɗɾҽαɱ ✻

◤ Shikari Hibiki◢ ↘ -->"Calling your name out, If you could only hear me now..." Probably the worst way to describe Mikuzaki, but it was the best he could do since he wasn't even sure if she had came today. By the time he had dropped by the dorms everyone was out as usual. Everyone seemed to be busy at the dormitory, but at least it showed that they did take their time to enjoy themselves. Well, at least Shikari himself was doing that today. As the girl said that she hadn't seen anyone within that description he just sighed a bit. Maybe she didn't come? Well, he wouldn't know till he checked. "That'd be great actually," Shikari said as he smiled lightly at the girl as she had offered to help. More than one person searching would be helpful, especially since there is so many people at this festival. He didn't think that many people would come here to the small town of Inaba. "By the way, I'm Shikari Hibiki. Junior at Yasogami High," Shikari told the girl as he introduced himself to her. She seemed familiar enough that he suspected that she probably lived here in Inaba as well, but there was probably lot of his school mates here anyway. He began to think of possible places that he could find the girl, but having just arrived here he didn't know where to start. Nix said, giving Shikari the same respect by introducing herself in the same manner he did. He did look familiar to her and now she knew why. They both attended the same school and must've at least seen one another around Inaba. He seemed like a nice guy so there was no reason not to help him out. Since it was Tanabata the girl he was looking for was most likely a girlfriend or a sibling. "Well since you said she likes energy drinks we can check the Sweet shop booth. There's also a few game booths we can check as well.. We can always come back here to search as well since this is the main area of the festival." The girl listed off a few locations so that he could choose where to search first. He knew the person he was looking for much better than she did. It wouldn't make any sense if she was the one leading him around.. Though there was something bothering her. She could've sworn she saw him somewhere out of school before. ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ ═ Sραɾкʟιɴɡ, dancing, releasing a ɓʃυҽ ɗɾҽαɱ ✻

◤ Shikari Hibiki◢ ↘ -->"Calling your name out, If you could only hear me now..." "Nyx?" Shikari said as he began to think of the monster that Minato Arisato had spoken about previously as the monster that he had to face to protect the world. It had been some time since he had heard that name, but he was sure she wasn't the Nyx that Minato had to face. Although, pushing that aside Shikari continued on. "Then I guess that makes you my Senpai," Shikari told her as he bowed to her in a respect. "That seems like a good place to start. If she's not there I'll treat you to something just for helping me," Shikari offered her, but it really wasn't too much of an offer to her. It was more something he would definately do if she declined it or not. He felt bad for just having someone help him find his own girlfriend, but at least he was interacting with people. He would have probably just walked around blindly about the festival if he didn't ask anyone for help. "How has the festival been for you so far anyway?" Shikari asked her as he tried to strike a conversation with the girl as he began walking over to the Swirl Snack Shop with Nix. It was a start since he didn't really know the girl yet, but hanging around with people didn't seem like a bad idea. ♞ Nina ✘ Tensai and ♚ Washi ✘ Tensai "Wait, wait!" Nina suddenly felt a tug on her hand and she looked down at the boy with wide red eyes and a shaking head that would turn in all sorts of directions. "Do you think we can hit the mask shop first? Then we'll get to the games? Or, maybe we can eat then-- no, no eating should be saved last, right? But I'm hungry now..." Nina listened to her little brother intently, grinning for a moment before she rolled her eyes then suddenly nudged him. "You can't be serious, Washi." she said, soon being given a confused look from her little brother. "You're saying no to the sweets already? Who are ya?" Soon Nina felt a bit of a shove from him before he grinned from ear to ear then looked about for a snack booth. "So you really wanna?" he asked anxiously. Nina already started to walk, holding his hand (much to his dismay), and was going over towards the direction of where she could see the snack shop. "Yeah," she answered. "Lets see what they got to snack on before we hit the games. I can't get carried away, though, alright? Dad only gave me a limited amount and he's already expecting me to bring some change back.""Alriiiight!" Washi said impatiently, really wanting to run off so that he could get to the stand before anyone else does, but he knew better. He also knew that he wouldn't hear the end of it from his sister and that also meant there would be no end from his dad. Course, he didn't want Nini to get into trouble either. "It's cool, though!" Nina looked back to him, tilting her head. "What's up? What's cool?"Washi kept walking along, putting a hand in his pocket. "That it's just the two of us with no Dad around." It was then that he rubbed at his nose sheepishly, suddenly feeling bad for what he just said. "Eh.. though I hope he feels better." Much to their dad's dismay, the old man found himself catching a bug through the trip and wasn't able to join them tonight. The two siblings promised to bring back some food and treats for him when the come back to the Amagi Inn, knowing that would at least bring somewhat of a smile on his stubble face. Nina walked a little more along with her brother, all the while enjoying herself... feeling completely out of the punk title. "Yeah, I'm sure he will. He's tough, he can handle. We'll bring him back something, though," said Nina. "If anything he should get better tomorrow, that's something, right?" "Yeah... ...Nini?" The youngest asked. "Hm?" the eldest answered. Washi started to tug at his hand, now starting to look a bit annoyed. "Can you let go of my hand? I'm not a baby, come onnnn!" He looked up at his sister with a serious as serious faces go with him. "I won't run off, promise!"Quote: Of to the Swirl Snack Shop!

Not sure why I was named that but.. It's my name." She heard about Nyx during her research, at least the mythology part. The girl did recall hearing Shadow Soji mentioning Nyx coming down to earth but to be honest her memory of that night was hazy. No one really mentioned to her how close the two names where before so it wasn't such a bad thing. "You don't have to be formal because I'm your senpai, Shikari-san... Oh! No no! You don't have to buy me anything. I'm more than happy to help you. It's no trouble at all." It was very nice of Shikari to offer to buy her something from the Sweet Shop but it really was no big deal for her to help him in a search. The last thing she wanted to do was make him think she was only helping to gain something in return. It wasn't her intention at all. "It's been fun so far.. Except I tried that turtle scooping game and so far I haven't been able to catch anything. I guess luck isn't on my side foe that but I might try again later anyway. How about you?" Nix asked, wanting to keep the conversation going. It was nice to have someone to talk to at the festival. It really was boring to be at an event alone.
