I have always admired cosplayers who were able to band together and become such great friends that they were able to form an official cosplay group with a name and the works.
Recently I have been able to do the same. It so great. We are all excited, and have drafted plans and even created a facebook page. ahhh, it super great to meet like minded ppl and cos with them X3
Anyway guys, if you are in a group or have a group you admire, please feel free to share them here.
Discuss whatever you like as well biggrin I just wanted to share my joy.

Let me introduce you to my cosplay group, Project 8.We are a philippine based team that usually cosplays Super Sentai and Kamen Rider series. When were not cosplaying we take comission from other cosplayers in our country. Project 8 has been running for 3 years now.

Lucent that is really amazing. I hope my group can last that long and maybe longer
your group's cosplay is amazing btw. The suits are like the show ><

Yes, we really work hard to make the our costumes as accurate as we can... Especially the 4 main admins. The stunt guys (the ones that usually cosplay as villains) take some risk just to make out skits and videos cooler. c:
I gained membership just last year. But in just 1 year, they thought me lots of things that go beyond the hobby. They thought me how to start small businesses and be more independent. They also thought me how to be a happier person.
As to cons outside the Philippines, we wish to attend the AFA at least. Sadly, most of the members are too busy to attend a convention that far from home. Some cannot afford the tickets and other expenses and are too young to be allowed to travel alone.

surprised but if you are coming afa singapore, do let me know. does phillipines have anything like groupon? its a coupon site that can get you great deals on travel and food and whatever random stuff. maybe that ca get some of you here biggrin

Usually, a group would consists of friends, but In singapore we also have groups that ppl meet on forums to cosplay a certain anime/manga/voacaloid.
Where are you from? If you have a local forum you could always meet in a random group first and make friends

Where are you from? If you have a local forum you could always meet in a random group first and make friends California of the U.S. The irony is that I'm loner and socially awkward. So I tend to alienate people in RL without realizing it.

I always tried to get my freinds to do a group cosplay with me but I am the only one who could sew or had the money. :/
