The Great Ball Gazette was a popular newspaper for the surrounding populous of Katarina. It's most famous sections were not about what swarms happened in the area or it's review on cheap Pokemon merchandise in-stock at the department store. No! It's most popular leaflet was its review on Pokemon Coordinators and other flippant and funny idols that graced the entertainment channels of stolen cable.

Well, Cetus believed she had given a wonderful performance that day in Katarina's marketplace, but they didn't think so. No- they called her appeals "generic", "too flashy", and "quite stiff for an amateur coordinator trying too hard to make a name for herself." It doesn't take much to know it made the Galactic Grunt snap.

She wanted payback for their terrible judgements.

At 12:02 PM, just after the daily news servants and paparazzi had taken their leave for lunch, a large bomb exploded on the top floors of the newspaper's headquarters. If there were injuries or not, Cetus didn't care, because she watched a lengths away in flashy get-up to avoid any suspicion: [x] As people scrambled for safety and screamed for their dear lives at flying, shattering glass and breaking brick, Cetus licked the end of her cigarette and fluttered her eyes down in thought.

She had not received permission from higher-ups to exact her revenge. Would she be suspected? Maybe not, since the elites has associated her for having s**t for brains when it comes to tech. Of course, Cetus does, she just shoveled up a bit of coin this time to get one of the geeks to prep one for her. She did all the other hard work: infiltration, hook up, leaving without notice, and the big ka-boom. She succeeded, but it didn't feel as satisfying as she thought it would be.

Just the irony of the moment left her speechless. "Explosion at Local Newspaper Company: XX Injured." Imagine that making headlines news? It was almost funny enough to make her laugh. Too bad it didn't.

Cha'Time had, unfortunately, not been able to escape the city yet. He was on his way to the cities exit, wanting to be out of the town as soon as possible. He jumoed and let out a yelp when the building suddenly blew and winced as a few peices of smaller rubble stuck his skin, thankfully he had been far enough away to avoid the worst of the rubble. Kwatoko, who had been previously perched on his trainers shoulder tumbled to the ground landing on his little feathered tush screeching in protest the whole way. Cha'time was dazed and rather distressed, things like this never happened back home! Kwatoko picked himself up and chatterd angrily at Cha'time for dropping him, and at the building for blowing up but either his trainer hadn't heard him or he was being ignored. he ruffled up his feather and pecked at Cha'Time's ankle, the human let out another yelp, this time one of pain and quickly pulled his foot out of the little birds reach. "s-sorry Kwatoko.." he said and bent down to scoop him up and set him back on his shoulder. Cha'Time did not notice the woman standing nearby, he was too busy fretting about things randomly exploding.

The squawks, the squeaks, the people, the people, the people! Cetus's once shouldered annoyance was slowly being tussled around until it finally slipped into her ear and settle at the bridge of her brain. Her eyes snapped to her left and she glared at rigidity boy and his feather butt fluffing up a storm. It's cries were damn annoying. Time to stop all this noise at once!

Cetus pounded her Tentacruel's Great Ball into the air and it snapped revealing the Jellyfish Pokemon. After his typical bout of crying, "Warble!" and trying to strangle-hug his master, he turned to her commands. "Incapacitate that kid." she growled and Menkar obliged, slithering up to Cha'Time with a gleeful hello than trying to ensnare him and his buddy with several of his many tentacles. Cetus had intended to use the young man as hostage to bring about some calm to the running pedestrians. A bit awkward of a plan -- threatening the life of another just to such everyone up -- but it seemed coincise.

Cha'time had been too focused on Kwatoko to notice Menkar until it was too late and he was already snared in its many tentacles. He yelped in fright and struggled, trying to break its hold but was unsuccessful. He never was very strong... Kwatoko squawked again and bit at the tentacle closest to him. He didn't care that it was a water type, it had his trainer and he wanted it to let go. "< Let go of my partner jelly-brains!>" he cried continuing to peck and scratch at any part of the Tentacreul he could reach.

Menkar hugged his new friend with complete glee, but than the buzzing birdbum soured his acidic side. "Warble!" he flailed with each peck against his soft tentacles and mushroom cap-like body. He swished his loose tentacles at Kwatoko as if he was an annoying little fly with hopes of hitting him away.

Cetus tongued the end of her cigarette again, watching with the stare of a perplexed and annoyed mother. She was obviously not amused.

Cha'Time squirmed and struggled uselessly against the Tentacruel. " let me go!" he cried, sounding panicked. Kwatoko winced when the loose tentacles connected with his small body but kept on trying to fight. He pecked and scratched, but could not do much damage. He would have used more powerful attacks, but then he would run the risk of injuring his own trainer... He shook himself and re-doubled his efforts, if he could get it to weaken its grip enough, Cha'Time could break free on his own.
