Erimentha stared with slightly closed eyes up at a large baobab tree in the middle of the african savannah. Her light pelt thankfully reflected the sun off of her, thus allowing her to lay openly in the sun without to much fear of getting over heated. Though, she knew there was a large watering hole not more then a short distance from her very spot. So there was truely not danger of that either way. With a sigh Erimentha rolled over onto her belly and instead rested her head on the warm ground. She had spent most of her day wandering the rogue lands as she had been doing for months now, but had decided to take a break from her walk not more then an hour ago. As she laid there she felt herself growing more and more restless. It had been some time since she had last had contact with anyone and her amusement from her last encounter had since faded. Her hopes were high that her current resting place would yield someone for her to converse with. At least just for a little while. Though, she wouldn't be opposed to finding a strong young male who could entertain her as so many had before. "Yes. That would be rather interesting." She said, a grin coming over her maw as she flicked her tail behind her. Could she be so lucky?

Oisin was not a 'strong' male. He had stamina, somehow, but he was scrawny, and pretty much useless during the daytime. His dark coat made him better suited for the darker hours. He was a mangey lion, his fur messy and his body so thin that his ribs were poking out, but the male had a mission, and he was detirmined. Unfortunately, his 'female' hunting wasn't at all successful at night, so he was giving the day time a try. Though he knew there was a watering hole near by, Oisin simply couldn't go on. With a huff, the male flopped down in the grass, letting out a groan. If he had his way, he would have the sun sent away to a far away place, where it would never bother him again. The day time 'hunting' was looking bleak, though little did he know, he might have been getting lucky tonight.

With a loud snort Erimentha rose to her feet and stretched. Maybe it was best for her to try the watering hole now and see if lead her to a lion or the like. Turning her body she began to make her way through the grass silently. Where were the rogues hiding lately? Surely it was impossible for them to escape her for the last few months. Maybe she just wasn't looking hard enough. No, she certainly was. Hmph. Was her only thought after that.
Coming to a halt, her ears swiveled around as they listened to her surroundings. Had she just heard someone? Or was it her mind playing tricks on her? Grinning once more she decided to follow her ears and find out.
With quick strides Erimentha made her way easily to the black and white pelted male in just moments. However, she stalked silently in the grass, watching him for a few moments to make sure that he was indeed alone. He wasn't at all what she was hoping for. His body was not in the least bit strong nor was he at all properly fed. Or at least he didn't appear to be by the looks of it. Was this what she had been waiting months for? Hmm.. Maybe he wasn't as pathetic as he appeared. Then again if he was she honestly couldn't care less. She was dying for the company of another. Male or otherwise. Just something to save her from the boredom that was the rouge lands.
Deciding that there was no one looking in the grass, waiting for their chance to strike out at her she gingerly made her way over to the male. "Hello there." She said in a friendly tone. Now that she was closer to the male she was able to see the intricate designs that traced his pelt and face. Despite being so thin he was actually rather handsome with his orange eyes. Maybe he really would be worth the months of waiting. "My name is Erimentha." She said simply, but still retaining the friendly tone.

Oisin, too busy mentally complaining about how much he hated the sun, didn't notice the female in the area. In fact, he still didn't notice her when she got up and walked towards him. Maybe this was a bad idea... How did his father do it? He had so many brothers and sisters. So many, that he hadn't even met some of them! However Oisin had been at this for a few weeks now, and he had found nothing. He was sure his father had found a female on his first week out. After all... His father was young, at least he seemed like it. He didn't seem like the type of lion to have a ton of kids.
While Oisin did want to follow in his fathers footsteps and help out in the pride, he couldn't help but want to be home. He didn't know how far he was away from home, but he did know that he missed his family. His brother, especially. Right about now, Utpala would probably be dragging Oisin out of the cave and forcing him to go stare at whatever lioness Utpala currently had a crush on, or making him dig holes to look for rabbits. Utpala was a pain, and no matter how many times Oisin told his brother 'I don't want to talk right now', Utpala always found away to get him out and about. But now that he was alone, he actually missed the constant pestering of his brother.
It was thoughts like these that Oisin was so lost in, so lost that he became completely oblivious of the light colored female in front of him. Eventually, though, he did notice her. Jumping, with a small gasp, Oisin shot up, before he stared, wide eyed at the female. "What? Where the hell did you come from!?" He blurted out, his eyes and head darting every which way, the fur on the back of his neck standing up, looking like he had seen a ghost.
Finally, he calmed down. Wait, this female was introducing herself? To him? Blinking, he cleared his throat and stood up, trying to make himself look tall and burly. He was tall, but burly? Not so much.
"Hello. My name is Oisin. How can I help you, ma'am?"

Erimentha found herself quite amused with the male's reaction to her approach. He had been very lost in his own thoughts, which must have been pretty pressing the way he had acted. Smiling now she nodded towards the direction she had come from. "I was just over there laying under the tree." She said, cocking her head slightly at the way he stood now.
"Nice to meet you Oisin." Erimentha replied with a smile as she stepped closer to him. "Not sure yet what I need help with." She said truthfully. Though, she admittedly had quite a number of idea's. "Company." She corrected. "These lands are rather lonely and desolate. It's not often I come across another lion. Such as yourself." She said with a smile. "Though, apart from that the choice on what we do is up to you." Erimentha said as she sat down. She wondered for a moment due to his thin body if he was hungry. Maybe she should ask if he wanted to hunt, together. Then again she wasn't sure how he would react to her suggesting such a thing.
