~::Tanabata Festival (2 Nights!)::~
Tanabata Demon Shooting Gallery
Tanabata is a time of many things, and a time to chase out the bad luck of the old days, and welcome in the good luck. So, what better way to get the bad guy to leave than to pump him full of lea.....I mean, completely non-lethal projectiles, yeah...
This little gallery, monitored by two very perceptive individuals, allows you to use something that resembles a gun (Can't actually be, can it?) to shoot down demons to win grand Prizes! There are three rounds, for three times the fun.

Quote:
Event Rules

1. To post, simply walk up to the event with a post, stating who's playing, and what round. One of the two helpers will provide you with the proper items and set up. There are 3 rounds: Normal, Lightning, and 'Final' (Must play at least one other game before trying Final). The game consists of using the appropriate device to shoot down little Demon-Targets, and your Prize will be determined on the numbers written on them. Every Shot's a Winner!

2. Playing 'Normal' round, roll 1-20. The Number you're aiming for is 13. Playing Lightning, you 5 20 sided dice, and add the results. (Your goal is a multiple of 13. (13, 26, 39, 52, 65, 78, 91) If you hit a Number, you'll win a Prize! However, for both games, certain numbers will lead to more generic prizes than others... ( 1, 7, 20, 77, 100 mainly)

The final round is the hardest, set up at 1-1000 odds, with only 2 numbers that'll win. (13, 666)

3. Prizes vary between rounds, and include plushies, keychains, and other small acessories, depending on their roll. If one hits a number, their prize will be something actually useful in the RP, such as a Me-Patra Gem, Macca Leaf, Dis poison, Dis Rage, or Dis-Charm. (Things that can be bought at Daidara's) The Prize for the Final round....is a Mystery, but is figured to be coveted by many.

4. For the sake of Prize giving, and to preserve the value of the last prize, Each Character can only play a grand total of 4 Games per Day, and there is only one prize for the 'Final' Round. This is to give everyone a remotely fair shot at winning Said Big prize, and to make sure the booth doesn't go under in paying out for wins.

[This Gallery will be open for both nights!]

"Come one, Come all! Get those demons of Bad luck out of your system, and bring in the good luck! the blonde haired individual spoke, loudly. "Just step right up, and ready your Firing Arm! Here at the shooting Gallery, everyone's a Winner!"
The brown haired girl turned the other way, attempting to attact customers too.
"Come one, come all! Prizes Everytime! Come have a time at..."
She then suddenly turned to the blonde one, coming upt o about his chest as she started to hit him repeatedly. "You never said it was a shooting booth you meanie face! I worked hard on those demons you know?!"
The blonde one smiled, before turning to the girl.
"Look, they're going to appreciate your paper mache demons a lot more than anyone else would." he called, patting her head in a condesending sort of way. "So just sit back and relax....This is much more effective than letting them rot on the shelf."
The girl huffed a bit, but relented, smiling again.
"Yeah, you're right." she called, turning back. "Come One, Come all! The Tanabata Shooting Gallery is Open for Buisness!"

Inaba has really lit up thanks to this festival, from the music, the smell of the wonderful food, the crowd and the decorative sight, Amelia was sure that her smile wouldn't leave her face as she looked about the area. Having already helped Minori and Tobikuma in getting their yukata, the day soon lead to the moment that they were all waiting for! To be honest she was suppose to be meeting Minori in the main area, but she couldn't help but to look around and take in the sights, already finding herself lured in by the booths and trinkets, toys and items that she saw all over the place. It's... it's just been so long. No doubt she already has that childlike feeling going through her, her eyes looking about excitedly to take in everything and every detail she could muster so far. Clothed with her black yukata, the blue patterns looking beautifully detailed on the fabric, in a whole the young lady looking her best for the celebrations and the festivities. The question being... which booth should she hit first? Her eyes wandered about and tried to avoid bumping into anyone in the crowd as they enjoyed themselves before she soon spotted a shooting booth that held nothing but plush dolls all over it. The booth owners were already trying their best to get customers attention and she wondered how anyone could resist such a sight with all those little prizes decorating the sight. With a bright feeling bubbling up in her, Amelia stepped herself forward towards the booth anxiously then nodded her head as she looked at the paper mache demons before grinning some and then took out her purse to pay for a game. "I can have a try at it. The normal round, then!" she said to the girl, already handing her the money before she took the needed weapon to shoot down her very targets. "Hehe, not sure if I'll be a good shot, though." We'll see how things go, after all you're suppose to have fun!

"Alright, let's just have a look at your number." the blonde one called, moving behind the stand to pick up the shot demon, before bringing it back up, and coming around.
"Alright, Good news: Not a 7. Bad news, Not the number you need. Buuuuuuut, you still get a prize."
The blonde turned to the brown haired one, with a jolt, grinning brightly.
"Hurry up! She might want another game!" he called, the tuft of brown dissapearing behind the booth for a bit, before coming back, and moving up to the girl.
"Here you go!" she called, handing out a small plush to the winner. "Do try again if you'd like."
The blonde seemed to be all too inviting to getting her to play again, as he held out what resembled a machine gun, another pistol, and a large, long rifled looking weapon. Startilingly realistic, but surely he wouldn't risk anything right?
"Alright...pick." he called, already assured she'd play again. "Normal, Lightning, or Final?"
The pistol, the machine gun, or the Rifle?

"Hm.." The girl's smile faded for a moment but it was to be expected and it was only the first try, Amelia already recovering some and giving off a soft laugh as she rubbed her neck. "Guess I need to work on my aim a little more." Her eyes blinked for a moment when she noticed that she had won a little something, this actually being a little encouraging when she saw the little plush being handed to her, already giving a bit of a giggle. It was cute! Though.. what was this about her being lucky it didn't land on a 7? There's a downfall in this game besides missing the right number? She looked up at the male booth owner then decided to have at a different mode of the game, and soon searched her silk purse once more and turned to the girl. She'll admit, the weapons were looking a little crazy, but in an odd sense that just made the game all the more exciting. "Let me try again, Lightning mode this time!" And so it started... Amelia already starting to show that she wasn't going to be backing down after failing on the first try. Lord knows when she'll stop now. With the machine gun given, the girl rolled up her sleeve then tried her shots, this time hoping to land on something and something good.

Tadao Susumu

So this was Inaba, pretty average town, no that was giving it too much of a praise. “This place has nothing, but peasants. ” The cocky man would say in disgust. Why on earth did he even bother coming down to this place filled with people, who would only dream of being someone as magnificent as Tadao? The answer to that gave him a minor headache, “Hitomi….why…” he grumbled while rubbing his temple. Indeed, the little sparrow had been nagging him about the Festival; it was on her mind even when Tadao snap her back into reality. The immediate response was a blunt no, but that didn’t stop Hitomi from trying to convince him to come. On the hour in when they were hanging out, she would begin to ask him about it, what was worse was that she made it was the first time she brought it up. “I swear…that airhead.” After having up to his end, he decided to grace this town with the presence of someone that they could never become, referring to Tadao Susumu of course. That was the short tale of the honey badger coming to Inaba, doing his thing and not giving a s**t about others. Being a man of fine taste, Tadao had to dress properly for a festival, and be fashionable as well. The butler of the house had an idea of what Tadao would wear, something that belonged to his father when he was Tadao’s age. The Yukata was black, and smooth to the touch; red birds, presumably red robins, were added to the design and crafted as though they were flying upwards in an arc. The wealthy young man wasn’t quite comfortable of wearing his father’s clothing, but it would have to do. Enough talking about how well dressed Tadao was, anymore and he would not be able to get along with the festival, as people would just crowd him wanting to touch this glorious piece of clothing. Originally Tadao was with Hitomi, but since it was Hitomi, the two split for a brief moment. “Dragging me out to a rundown place, and disappear! Really Hitomi…..” Another grunt escaped his lips, the only thing he could do now was walk along. “This place doesn’t seem, that much of a letdown. Still quite a disappointment, but I guess to people of the lower class, this would be something of A ranked amusement. Hmph, I have seen better than this. ” There wasn’t anything too pleasing for him, that and he was still upset that he lost Hitomi. Wasn’t long that he came across a game that suited his fashion; it was a shooting game. The prizes, were little plush items, accessories and more meaningless crap. Still, Tadao decided to give it a shot…no pun intended. “Be grateful,” he approached to the stand, placing his money to play, “That I am even wasting my time with this. ” With the weapon in hand, Tadao would show that he was the best when it came to shooting.

While Tadao was treating this whole experience as a bitter thing, an annoyance, Hitomi was enjoying it. All of the colors and new sights brightened the spacey girl up greatly as she wandered about in the yukata her grandmother had painstakingly made for her. The yukata was bright, just like the girl who wore it; cobalt blue was the main color, patterned with irises of red, white and pink – it was safe to say that she stuck out in a crowd. It was any wonder how Tadao managed to lose her, though with her habit of staring up at the sky, perhaps it wasn't too far fetched.

The sky was beautiful here, not as pretty as the one Sumaru had the fortune to lie under, but Hitomi liked it all the same! Her smile grew and vanished briefly as she came out of her own little dream world to realized that Tadao was nowhere near her! In a panic, the girl rushed around the festival looking for him; there were a few things that distracted her, like the pretty outfits other girls were wearing and a strange little event where she was required to write her name on a slip of paper! She wasn't really sure what that was all about – but oh well! By the time Hitomi spotted Tadao he was doing his own thing, looking cool as always at a game booth, the spacy girl's smile grew as she waved and called out to her friend. ”Tadao! Hey Tadao, there you are!” Hitomi said as she quickly shuffled over to the arrogant young man. ”I lost you, but then I found you! I should have looked here first!” Hitomi's smile grew into a grin as she stood by him and glanced at the targets he had been shooting and at the prizes. It figured that he would be somewhere where guns were involved.

The shots rang out, and as Amelia's turn came to a close, the blonde haired one popped up.
"Again, nice try, but no dice." He called, gesturing at the brown haired girl to grab something, the girl soon approaching with a small keychain that was handed to Amelia.
"Here you go. Try again soon." the boy called as he palmed the thing to her, before someone else approached, and promptly showed off his skills.
"Good show Damn-Good Marksman." the Blonde called, apparently knowing without a second glance which one was the one to aim for. He gestured a few times to the brown haired one communicating without speaking as she brought up a Plush. However, as one looked closer, they would notice one of the eyes was a bit off color, and if Tadao pulled on it, he would find a [Me Patra Gem] where the eye should be. "Want to try another round? Or maybe your little lady does?"

Karissa Kyuuban
"I've got this far on my own"

"Now now, this is my kind of game!" Karissa called out looking over her choices for the game. Regular? Lightning? She was a little more then confident in her shooting skills. That wasn't the point, she was here to have fun after all, it just so happened that this was the kind of fun she could have and at the same time do what she loved all at the same time, an excellent combination. Looking over a her choices again she picked up the weapon for the lightning game. Karissa fiddled with the weapon so she could get the right hold of it, she was having a hard time figuring out how real the weapon, she new it wouldn't have been actually real, it just felt realer then some of the gun mock ups she had seen before, then again this was for a shooting gallery so chances were it'd have to at least have some force behind it. She didn't really need to worry about that. Karissa had to keep reminding herself that she was here for fun and she need to stop thinking so technically. She took a deep breath aiming down what the weapon had for sights. She really needed to relax, this was the first time she was actually out at one of the festivals in a while. Pulling the trigger she was hoping her shots would line up well, either way it was just for a bit of fun... right?

The ƒℓσωєɾѕ are set alight

Nix wandered around for a bit, trying to take her mind off the horrible failure at trying to win the scooping game. A gathering crowd caught her attention, along with the sounds of gunfire. Of course she knew they weren't real guns so it must've been one of those shooting galleries she heard of. When the girl walked over to take a closer look she got an understanding of what the goal was. They had to shoot at the 'demons' and they get a prize depending on what number they end up with.

So Nix decided to go over and give it a try once there was a free spot. "Umm.. A Normal game please." She said before taking up her 'weapon' and firing at the paper mache targets, hoping she would fair better at this game than the other one.

"Nice Nice. I like some girls that can shoot." the blonde one called, ducking back to pull numbers.
"Well, sadly, there isn't a major prize for either of you." he stated, before snapping his fingers, and making more gestures to the brown haired girl, who moved quickly to grab prizes. The blonde leaned over the Blonde girl, (Karissa), and handed her a beat looking plush, though something about it seemed oddly....well made. As if, intentionally worn. To the silver haired one, a turtle plush. Not that he had any way of knowing of the girl's misfortune with getting any fish or turtles, but....
Perhaps it was fate talking? Who knowss.....

Nix looked at the turtle plush she was given and stared at it for a while. Where she failed to get a real turtle, now she had a doll form of one. This was better than nothing and she could carry it around with her without worry. "Thank you, Sir! I'll come again later~!" The girl said, now having her brighter mood back as she happily walked away. The turtle was safe in her arms as she left..

Miya hummed happily as she entered the shooting booth's area with Rika. The odd nibble had grown into a series of bites largely consuming her candied apple by now, which wasn't really a bad thing. After all, who wanted to spend the entire festival holding something when it was so much more fun to run around freely? Well... maybe not run... running could attract attention, and that was kind of frightening... but maybe, um, advance briskly right behind Rika? Something like that, anyway, and a smile flicked onto her face once more. "Go for it!" she cheered. Rika would be much better at this kind of game anyway; Miya was happy enough to watch. Besides, Rika would probably look really cool as she was shooting... Didn't wanna miss that.

Rika Kirana
"The Bipolar Vandal"

Rika wandered over to the shooting gallery, with what was left of her candied apple's stick left in her mouth. She always had a weird ability to consume her food pretty fast. She looked around and grinned at one of the attendants. "All right. I'll give a Lightning round a try then." She said. Offered a machine gun, she looked it over, then looked at the targets. She glanced at Miya. "Here goes nothing, yeah?" She said, shrugging before turning to the booth. She leaned over and tried her best to aim, before firing at the targets. Not that she knew what she was doing. It was more of a 'just point it and shoot and hope you get something good' thing.

Ooh, so close. But at least she got to see the image of Rika with a... machine gun... drat. A rifle would have been so much cooler. Ah, well, as long as Rika had fun, that was all that really mattered. Miya grunted slightly as she picked up a gun of her own and nearly dropped it from the weight. She... really wasn't built for this kind of thing... heh. The girl took a few deep, steadying breaths, though, then carefully made a few practice motions before signalling for the game to begin and letting loose a series of non-lethal bullets. "Come on, come on..." the girl muttered, slowly but surely getting into the spirit of the festival.
