if you restore that one it will be, at best, slightly better possibly than it was new
but
will easily be outdated if it isn't already
will cost you
will probably afford you no warranty

a new one will be as good as you shop for, will probably be covered by at least a manufacturer's warranty or returns policy, and might not be too crap in a year or two

it depends what you need it to do. is being outdated that big a deal? are you happy paying money for a service which may only provide a temporary fix?

one of the problems with laptops is their low upgradeability and modification scope

what i will say is
NETBOOKS ARE ******** WANK. AVOID.

Welp, he pretty much covered it all.

Also, be careful about Wal*Mart stuff. They're cheap, but you get what you pay for, if you know what I mean.

Do you still have your computers start up disk thing? If so you can probably do the restore yourself instead of paying someone to do it for you.

I have the original restore discs when I bought the stupid thing but even if I could find them ( xd ), it's just a super pain in the a** six hours later of fixing it, then pulling all the retarded preloaded programs off of it...Like AOL?
