                • These two adorable cubs are of the same litter and have been
separated from their parents. The white cub is female, and the
black cub is male. They've been surviving on their own, but if
things don't change, it doesn't look good.

                • In your response, tell me how these 2 became separated from
their parents. How have they been able to survive so long? Where
are they from and where are they going?

Who would you give it to? Preferably someone who hasn't won anything/won the least by the end of the other games. PETS FOR ERRYONE. Or, try to.
Pet Name: Rosalba Frère[Meaning "White Rose" and "Blood"]
Personality: Soft-spoken but mature, Rosalba tries to be very responsible and is always stopping to think before she acts. However, she is naturally clumsy which makes things difficult at times...Since she smiles often and responds to obstacles with laughter, one would think Rosalba is an optimistic person. In fact, despite pushing through hardships with a grin, Rosalba views the world somewhat darkly. It can be a dangerous place out there, and it will eat you up as soon as you show weakness...In 'light' of this, Rosalba is actually quite cautious and treats things suspiciously. She smiles most when she is afraid or angry...Adds "Fwuu" sounds when she speaks.

Story: I remember mother and father's scent.
It was my first memory from before I could even open my eyes--They were first thing I knew of this world. Mother's scent was quite sweet, like strawberries, while Papa's was like dark, earthy rain...The second thing I learned about this world and my newfound life, was the warmth of another small, wriggling thing that curled up next to me. I'd later learn that 'it' was my brother, and soon after that we'd both be taught by Mother and Papa about who we were and where we are. They told us we were stars, and that our home was called a 'Star Farm'...Of course, we were too young to understand any of that. I'm still not old enough to quite get it now. However, I know I was quite happy to wake up every day and see my family. I also remember crying a lot, because I was always tripping over things. Sometimes Papa would get a little frustrated trying to console me...and that made me cry more. One night, as Mother cooed us to sleep and I had been crying over a new bruise I got stumbling over tree roots, she whispered that I had to be strong. "Don't let the world see you be weak," I remember her wispily saying, just before I drifted off to sleep. I think...that was the last thing I ever heard my Mother say to me.

The Star Farmer who ran the Star Farm, our home, had been acting weird the past few days. He always seemed so tired and disgruntled that even strong Papa avoided him out of wariness. The first time I saw the Star Farmer, he had very bright blue eyes and a calm smile...but it slowly changed into them being bloodshot and having dark bags. I also didn't understand why he changed like that. I suppose it had something to do with people not coming to visit the Star Farm to get Star Seeds and such. He always to mumbles to himself about 'bills' and 'no other way out'. Why did he think there was no other way...Why did he have to choose that 'way'?

He burned down the farm. I remember the thick smoke already filling up our nest as I was shaken away by my brother. We had just gone to sleep and our parents had gone out for some fresh air--We were so scared! We could hear them calling us but we didn't know where they were! I couldn't move...I was already coughing hard and crying out for Papa to help us. I kept calling through the smog even when my throat was sore. Finally I could see their silhouettes and I could feel their arms picking us up! We had to escape! By this point, the raging fire had grown so much and everything was falling apart all around us. Again I tripped for the umpteenth time and as Mother was rushing back for me, a wooden beam fell and blocked the main exit. Things kept falling until we were backed into a corner where there was a hole behind a shelf...Papa told me and my brother to go first, since we were smaller. It was a tough squeeze, but with tears streaming down we both managed to get out. Then it was Mother's turn. I could see her starting to wiggle behind the shelf when we heard a loud 'CRRK'. The whole building was coming down now! And after that my memory gets foggy since I had been in the smoke for too long, and began to black out. We had to get away from this place, our parents shouted to us. They said they would come find us soon...That they would come for us once they got out. They never came. And after crying for hours after we finished running, I realized that no one else would come for me and my brother either. We were all alone now.

Rosalba Frere carefully picked the berries off the lush, green bush and onto a raggedy cloth. Humming to herself, the bear cub picked more and more until she was satisfied, and tied up the bundle to be carried. It had been some time, maybe a month or 3, since that fire...She and her brother had retreated into the forest, afraid of the wild town their Star Farm had been near. It wasn't so bad living in the woods, since there was ponds and lakes and fruits. But there were still wild animals to hide from, and to look for adequate shelter from the rain and cold, dark nights...and Rosalba had to admit that they couldn't live on silly berries forever. Occasionally, she'd go into whatever town they came across to take what she could find, but it was never really enough. Poking at herself, she could see she was getting uncomfortably thin...As only cubs, they couldn't manage much more than this. 'But we have to keep moving, fwuu' she thought to herself, hurrying along to where her brother would be waiting for her. They ate in silence...and after having their fill, the two continued walking. She wasn't sure where they were going, or where they were headed, but it was better to keep moving forward. Right?

Suddenly, as the two came over the hill, something in the distance caught Rosalba's eye. It was a building...and the structure was sort of...familiar...Her ruby-colored eyes widened and she nudged her brother to look. "I-it's a Star Farm, fwuu!" she exclaimed with heart beating quick, "It's a Star Farm! A Star Farm! We found another Star Farm, fwuu!" She couldn't stop saying it, with a large smile etched across her face. Suddenly the weariness she'd been feeling was non-existent...and she knew why. They could stop running now! This was the place they must've been heading forward too--A place that would understand them in some small way. A place where they could finally rest and start anew. For once, in a long while, Rosalba was smiling because she was happy.

Which pet do you want? White Female Cub
Which pet would you give away? Black Cub ( ;-; I really wouldn't want to give away either)
Who would you give it to? Plaisir
Pet Name: Raspberry
Personality: Innocent, Playful

Story:
Raspberry puttered along, stopping every so often to pick the wildflowers that grew along the forest floor. She hummed, wrapping vines with tiny white buds around her arms and braiding them into a simple crown. "Look at me, Blackberry!" she called to her pacing brother. "Aren't I just the prettiest thing you ever saw?" She posed, batting her eyelashes, but the black cub didn't look up. He was walking back and forth, leaving a trail of bare soil where so much foliage had been not too long ago and mumbling to himself in low growls. "Brother?" she called softly, a little concerned. He had been like this for some time now. The sun had moved considerably in the sky and shadows crept across his bent back, as though they were the weight that held the little cub so low to the ground. He looked up at her for only a moment and she could see how serious he was. His little furry brow had knitted together. The corners of his mouth had turned down in a teeny cub frown. She knew why he was worried, but she went back to rolling around in the leaves and picking wildflowers. Mommy and Daddy would come. She just knew they would.

"Wake up, Raspberry," Blackberry cooed. "We need to move." Raspberry's eyes fluttered open. She sat up and shook the leaves and petals out of her hair. She had fallen asleep in a soft, now crumpled, pile of pastel flowers. Pink.Yellow. White. She stroked the petals lovingly, and stuck a few in her vine-crown before she stood and started to follow her brother. "We need to find shelter, Sis," he said sternly, pushing tree branches out of the way. He paused ever so often to shake the thorny vines from his matted fur, while Raspberry continued to hum, dancing around the rough patches and throwing flowers as she pranced. She was a little flower girl, a forest fairy. "Tra-la-la la-la!" she sang.

Blackberry twirled around, his stare stopping her in her tracks. "This is serious!" he cried, looking more broken than stern now. "Mom and Dad left us! They left us while we were sleeping and they're never coming back!" He fell with a hush onto his tiny cub bottom and started to tear up. "We don't have a home anymore, or food." He grabbed his pot-belly. "My tummy is rumbling so badly." Raspberry tilted her head to the side, staring at her brother. She glanced up, and just to his right was a thorny bush. More importantly, there were shiny berries. Blackberries.

She smiled and plucked one and handed it to her brother. "We have all the food we need, silly!" Blackberry wiped away his tears and they sat and munched together. After they munched together, they used sticks to move the thorns away and took shelter underneath the spacious blackberry bush. Raspberry held her brother like she knew their mommy would and they fell asleep, just as the last bit of sun disappeared and the world around them turned dark.

It wasn’t very long until Raspberry's ears perked up to the sound of something rustling in the leaves outside of their little shelter. She slowly let her brother go and crept predatorily to the entrance of the shelter. Humongous feet stared at her. She slowly, slowly looked up at the giant creature and… and… AND!!!! Her mom snatched her up in her arms and poked her silly little nose. Her dad reached into the blackberry bush house and pulled the sleeping Blackberry from its belly. Raspberry knew they’d come, she thought, yawning as her mommy carried her to the giant tree stump they called home where the food their parents had gathered that day were waiting for them on the dinner table. All they had to do to find them was follow the flowers.

Which pet do you want? White Female
Which pet would you give away? Black Male
Who would you give it to? This is a tough one as I have a few friends already in the thread I know from other shops, guess do a dice roll to decide if I can?
Pet Name: Niamh
Personality: Niamh's personality is very similiar to the meaning of her name. She is a beauty and has a 'brightness" about her. She is extremely loving, caring, personable and will give aid to those who need it.

Story: Niamh and her brother Dubhan awoke from a restful sleep to the sound of silence. Niamh was the first to realize that their mother was not humming as usual in the morning while she prepared their breakfast. Looking around she became scared when she was neither her mother or father anywhere in their cozy shelter. "Dubhan wake up!" she cried. "I do not see mother or father anywhere, WAKE UP!" she all but shouted. Without waiting for him she got up and frantically searched their shelter looking for her parents each passing minute she grew more frightened. "Mama, Papa where are you?" she called over and over again which was greeted with a cold silence. "Please answer me!" she emplored but again no response.

Her brother was suddenly behind her, "Where are they?" he asked. "I don't know little brother but we have to find them" she said. Moving back to their sleeping space she sat down and started to think. Yesterday I recall Papa saying something to Mama in a hushed tone, I only heard bits and pieces but it was something about the star farm" she said. "I dont know but I think there was something there that frightened Papa enough to talk to Mama about, but what?" she said. "We have to go look for them we have no choice" she said as she got up. "First let's find something to eat, I think Mama has berries left in the bucket" she said as she looked in and there was berries. They each took a handful and ate quickly. "Let's go" she said and walked to the opening and peeked out as she had been taught. Scenting no danger she stepped out into the sunshine and looked around.

"We should go towards the Star Farm" she said. "Hopefully they will be there with the farmer" she said as she turned to walk in that direction. With their bellies full and it being a warm sunny day the walk was very pleasant but a long one. Their shelter was on the outskirts of the farm it was one of the farthest out. Their Papa liked to be out among the other creatures and having the woods not to far away so his children can play out in the open and fresh air without having the farmer constantly watching them.

Suddenly the air became thick and smelled really bad as if something was burning. Running quickly Niamh and Dubhan entered the lands of their Star Farm to find the farmer doing something odd. He was actually burning the fields that contained the Star Seeds! Niamh ran faster and ran close to the farmer not knowing what she should do when out of the corner of her eye she saw a shadow. Looking over her Papa ran head first and tackled the farmer pining him down with his paws. "Niamh! Go get your Mama, she is over by the shed the farmer has for the soil. GO NOW!" he shouted. Dubhan ran to help her. When she reached the shed door, she pushed with all her might and it opened. There laying on the floor was her Mama and she looked hurt. "Mama!" she cried. Her Mama opened her eyes and said "Help me up and we can go, where is your Papa?" she asked in a fearful voice. "He is dealing with the farmer Mama he told us to get you and leave" she said. Going out the door they saw their Papa running towards them. "Quickly my family we must leave the farmer is not acting like himself, he is not thinking clearly and intends to destroy the Star Fields on his farm" he said. "I have tried to stop him but I am not strong enough we must flee" he said helping his mate as his children ran ahead to safety.

Which pet do you want? White Bear

Who would you give it to? Andranis
Pet Name: Tarts
Personality: She's... incredibly obsessively in love with candy. She likes sweets. She like them to the point of detriment. She's also extremely driven by her selfishness in regards to getting more. It's almost glutenous. She always thinks of her belly. She then tends to get really panicked when in trouble from following her silly and foolish whims. Did I mention she's a sucker for folly? She is. She's rather unwise.
Story: Once upon a time, Tarts was with her sister Cherry. They were walking down a path when Tarts spotted a hard piece of honey candy. "Oh, look.. hey there's a piece of candy."

Cherry looked at her with misgiving. She knew this moment. It only happened so frequently that she started to get the deja vu whenever it started all over again. This was that moment. She didn't know if she should follow her bleached sister, but what if she came home with out her? Would their mother be angry? She was just too afraid to find out.

By the time Cherry decided to follow, Tarts had swallowed her piece of candy and was several yards to the north. She had found more candy. Before long, the two were following chains of candy droppings on the ground that made a long and winding road to the north east. Tarts stopped and looked at Cherry ashamedly. "Oh.. sorry... Did you want one or two? Next one can be yours."

Cherry just looked at the ground not quite sure she should eat it. The last time she ate something off hte ground. It didn't end well. It NEVER ends well.
Why do you want this pet? I just thought it'd be cool to enter and share with Andranis?

Who would you give it to? someone in the shop who didn't win a pet
Pet Name: Pebbles
Personality: playful, frisky
Story:

The fire had taken everyone by surprise. In all of the confusion, Pebbles and her brother BamBam had become separated from their parents. In fact, they'd become separated from everyone they knew on the farm. It didn't take long for them to realize that they were no longer on the farm at all. That realization gave them pause to think, and the fear crept into their hearts. Would they ever see their parents again? Was their home gone? Where would they live now? All of these, and a multitude of other questions were running rampant through their little minds, but they would have to wait. The question foremost in their minds was where to spend the night. They had never spent a night out in the wilds, alone without their parents before, and being so young, they didn't have the years of experience that their mom and dad had. Sure, they'd been taught what was safe and unsafe to eat in the forest, so they wouldn't starve, but no one had yet shown them how to find their way back home if they should become lost. The sun was quickly falling lower in the sky, and would soon be gone altogether. The shadows were quickly progressing across the forest floor, and the cubs didn't want to be out when the light completely faded. There would be no moon tonight to light their way, so shelter was of the utmost importance.

"BamBam, do you see anything that would make a good shelter," Pebbles asked her brother.

"Not yet, but I'm still looking," he replied. He had been sweeping the forest now for what seemed like hours, hoping to find them a safe place to rest for the night. They'd managed to get far enough away from the farm in their flight that the smoke was no longer clogging the air. Much to his relief a few minutes later, he noticed a tree, which appeared to have fallen quite some time ago. Moss had already overtaken the bark, and flowers were growing out of it. "Look," he said, "I think we might be able to get underneath that tree. Come on!" They ran over to the tree and proceeded to investigate the possibilities. It didn't take them long to realize they were not the first creatures to have the same idea. A large portion of earth had been dug out from beneath the tree, and a sort of nest had been made. BamBam gave it a thorough sniffing, to make sure that no one had been staying there recently and made the decision that it was safe. "Come on. We can spend the night here, and tomorrow we can try to find mom and dad." They climbed into the depression, and curling up against each other to keep warm, they fell into a restless sleep, filled with visions of what had just happened earlier that day.

They didn't awake until the next morning until the sun had already been up for hours. They climbed out of their makeshift bed and stretched their legs. Their tummy's were rumbling from hunger, so they immediately set out to find something to eat. It took them longer than they thought, but eventually their hunger was abated, and finding a nearby stream, they slacked their thirst as well. Now it was time to backtrack, and try to find their parents. This was going to be the hard part, as their dad had not yet shown them how to leave a trail, or follow markings. What BamBam did know though, was what their scent smelled like. So he put his nose to the ground, and he followed that back the way they had come. If there was one thing he was good at, it was smelling things. He never missed a meal at home, because he could always smell the food being put out before his sister did.

It took them hours to retrace their steps, and the sun was low in the sky when they finally began to see signs of the fire. It was here that BamBam lost the scent, and they came to a stop. All of the trees were burned beyond recognition. Nothing looked familiar to either of them. Pebbles began to whimper, and tears started to flow down her cheeks. Where were their parents? Where were their friends? Where was their home? Again, questions rolled back and forth in her and BamBam's heads. After a few hours of walking through ash-covered forest, they came upon the remains of their home. They would not have recognized it as such, but for the bodies of their parents, lying on the ground. Pebbles screamed, "MAMA! PAPA!", and ran towards them. BamBam was right behind her, tears running down his face. At the sound of her scream, their parents both lifted up their heads, shaking the sleep from their bodies. Seeing their here-to-fore lost children running towards them, they leaped up and embraced them in loving hugs and kisses. The two cubs spent the next couple of hours recounting their adventure for their parents. They had no home to live in, but they had their family again, and that was all that mattered.

Why do you want this pet? Because I think she would be fun to rp with.

Who would you give it to? Is it okay to say I don't know yet? I don't have anyone in particular in mind. If I can't think of someone, I would pick whoever I thought put a lot of effort into their application.
Pet Name: Koby, meaning: 'strong one'. In the story, his sister's name is Laila which means 'night beauty'. (And yes, when you put their names together, it make 'Kola' XD )
Personality: Koby is a tough nut for one his age. He's obsessed with the idea of being brave and strong. He likes to say nothing scares him, but he'd be lying. He often ends up hiding behind his sister, despite his constant assertion that he'll protect her. Even so, he's determined and brave, even in the face of his fears. Once he's made something his mission, he will never give up on it. He's a little overprotective of his sister, who in turn is very strong-willed and quite unappreciative (in his words!). Although he often digs himself into a hole without meaning to, Koby can be quite thoughtful really. He's considerate of others, he's always worrying about their health and well-being, while at the same time trying to assuage their fears. He's altruistic and a people-pleaser. He doesn't mind sharing or giving up his time, because he gets a lot of pleasure from making other people happy.

Story:

It was a cold and rainy day in February that found twins curled up together inside their large den. Koby was dreaming about going to the lake with his parents and Laila when a droplet hit the top of his head and woke him up. Koby lifted his nose from under his sister’s head and looked up. The den provided some shelter from the elements, but a recent storm had collapsed part of it and the rain dripped through the roof. Koby stood up and shook out his wet fur. He nudged Laila awake.

Today was the day they were moving.

It had been almost a week since they had been living on their own. It was raining the day their parents left too. They said they were going to look for someone, but they never came back. He and Laila waited as long as they could, just like mom said, but by the third day the hunger was too strong.
“You stay here, Laila. I’ll go find us something to eat.” he’d said. But Laila never liked to be left behind. They tried catching fish in the river. When they were with their parents they would eat fish all the time, but Koby hadn’t yet mastered the art (which looked way easier when their dad was doing it!). So instead, they survived mostly off of fruits and nuts that they found in the trees and bushes nearby.

But, in the end, the den was just too far from food. And it leaked! Their new home was right by the river, but Laila was worried, because it wasn't as well hidden as their den was.
“What if someone finds us?”
“Don't worry Laila, I'll protect you! I am the boy, after all.” he announced while Laila just glared.
A wicked grin came over her face not a moment before he felt her paws hit his shoulders as she pounced on him. The two tumbled a short way down the hill before Laila successfully had him pinned against the ground and bit his ear. She gave it a few tugs. “Protect me? As if.”

Koby wrestled her off and ran away. He growled while she laughed at him, but they both ended up smiling. The moment she turned her back, however, his smile fell. It wasn't just people and predators they had to worry about. Their coats were thick, but not thick enough. Without their parents' warmth, they wouldn't make it through the winter.
“We have to go somewhere Laila.” he said.
“Go where?”
“I don’t know. Somewhere warmer.”
Laila shook her head. “No way. Mom said to wait. We can’t leave.”
Koby sighed. It was hard enough just trying to convince her to move to a new den. He wanted to wait for mom too, but what would he do if she froze to death?

However, it was a few days after they moved, that Laila’s (and not Koby’s) fear came true. It was early in the morning when the cubs were still asleep, when a rustling sound and the vibrations of footsteps could be felt approaching the den. The two cubs sat bolt upright. Through the bushes, they sound the outline of large, tall creature coming towards their den.
“Get behind me, Laila." Koby said sternly as the dark figure approached. He didn't know what he was planning to do, but he knew he would protect his sister at all costs.
“As if!” she said, boldly standing shoulder to shoulder with her brother.

There was a rustling in the leaves in front of them. Koby tensed up to keep from shaking and tried not to show how scared he was. But when she emerged through the bushes, the tall and scary shadow turned out to be nothing more than a girl. A quite surprised girl.

“Oh my goodness! H-hey there little guys." she said, startled to see the two bears cubs so close. She was, in fact, just a hiker. She hadn’t realized she was heading toward the cub’s den at all and was quite surprised to see them there. Not that they knew that! The baby bears were glaring at her suspiciously. One of them was growling.

“Er..” She looked around nervously, but there was no sign of the mother, who would surely be there to protect them if she was around. "Are you alone out here?" The girl sounded sad. She didn't know much about Sun Bears but she knew that two babies outside on their own was never a good thing. They must have gotten separated. Then she recalled something she saw on the way up here. "I know a Star Farm nearby here where you can stay. Do you want to go?"

Koby looked at his sister. A Star Farm? That was where they grew up when they were very little, before it shut down. He was very young when it happened. The only thing he could remember about it was a feeling of warmth and comfort.
Laila didn't look as impressed. She was always more suspicious of people than her overly-trusting brother.

“Hey, and you know, maybe that’s where your parents are too.” The girl added.
Laila stopped to think about it. A gust of wind blew through the forest and she shivered in her wet fur.
"We'll go!" Koby announced suddenly. Parents or not, it was at least somewhere warm.
“Koby!”
“Come on, Laila, like she said, what if mom and dad are there?”

The girl would have taken them there herself, but the one cub was looking at her quite suspiciously, so instead she just pointed the way. Not a moment after the girl was out of sight, the twins set off. They couldn't fly yet, but they could glide from tree to tree, which was the fastest way to travel, so that in no time at all, they had reached the farm.

Laila landed on the ground next to her brother, uncertainly. Now that they were there, she wasn’t quite sure what to do. Koby peered through the gate nervously. He had been so confident before, but now he wasn’t so sure. But while they were hesitating at the front gate, they heard a sudden cry from within.

“Koby! Laila!”

It was their mom! The large bear practically pounced on both of them, suffocating them as she nuzzled and licked them all over to make sure they were unhurt.
“Thank goodness you’re safe!” she cried. “You dad and I came looking for this Star Farm when we heard there was one in the area, but we were caught out in the storm. By the time we came-to… We told the Star Farmer where you were but he said he couldn’t find you.” She nuzzled them and held them tightly.
Laila glared at Koby. She knew it was a bad idea to leave the den!
Their dad came out behind her. His leg was bandaged, but other than that he looked healthier than ever. “You found us all by yourselves? Those are my smart cubs!”
Koby looked back at Laila and grinned smugly. She stuck her tongue out at him.

The twins walked through the gate with their mom and dad on either side of them. “This is a Star Farm, kids.” she said. “And, starting from now..” She looked at their father, who nodded. “This will be your new home.”
“At least for now.” He added.

Why do you want this pet? Because I love the colors red, black, and white together and I think the sunbears are the cutest. Also because I like my imaginary theme of them being based CocaCola. They remind me of me and my best friend (we're both addicted to it- he always drinks Zero and I drink Diet, so white and black). Also, since I don't really know anyone going into this, I think it would be nice to have a pet with a sibling so there's at least some connection there.
What's your favorite drink? I think you know. ^_^ It's Coca Cola.
