Kimaji was busy doing something she was pretty good at, which was wandering. She didn't even know how she had ended up by the ocean again, but it was pleasant. She remembered flying over it with Corellon, and though that wasn't happening now, it was very nice to just walk on the sand and look out at the sea.
She had been walking by the water for some time now, occasionally letting it reach her paws and prancing about. She was beginning to notice that the water was creeping further and further up the sand, and Kimaji wondered just how far it could go. Maybe she should be careful to not get swept away! The gray lioness laughed a bit, sinking her paws into the wet sand and letting a wave pass by. It was hard to imagine something so pleasant being dangerous!

Netta had been walking for some time now just taking in the simple beauty of the forest when she had a grand idea of having fun by the ocean. That was when a good day turned into a day of badness. It all started when she had the great idea of running on the beachy area and play hop-a-branch. The wood had seemed sturdy enough... seemed. Leaving the forest to step onto the sand almost made her purr with delight. It was so soft and warm. The sound of the crashing waves lulled her senses for a few minutes as she took in the crystal clear waters. It was then that she had spotted the fallen trees and began to make her way towards them. " I'm walkin on sunshine~oooOOo and don't it feel GOOD~" She giggled out as she hopped along the logs. Her current position was at a perch and she looked for her next target. " Walkin-EEK" There was a loud snap and crack. With a squawk of fear she fell.

She wasn't really used to hearing shrieks. To be honest, it was a wonder she did this time, considering the roaring waves. But somehow she did, and that caught her attention. Kimaji raised her head from looking at the water rushing over her paws, but couldn't really see who had made the noise. Maybe she was just imagining things.
Still, a curious lioness, the smallish female hurried along the beach, spotting a few fallen trees. "Hello?" She called out loud, hoping to find out if anyone was around, or if her ears were really just playing tricks on her.

Miserable. That is how she felt and cold. She eyed the water with trepidation, she it her or did it seem it was getting higher and higher by the minute? Whimpering at the thought Netta moved to get up but jerked to a stop. Looking down in surprise she noticed that her left back paw was jammed tightly between two thick planks. " Great...why is it always the paws?" Which was quickly followed by a curse. "Crap." No one knew she had come out her and now she was going to die alone in some weedy area. She felt her eyes water as the shock dissipated and sadness took over. Her emotions so overwhelming Netta almost missed the sound of another voice from coming above.
Whipping her head back she felt hope bubbling in her chest and yelled back. "Help me please!! I'm stuck!" Netta moved as best as she could to get away from the cold water. She tried to find a face to what she hoped was a voice.

Oh, there it was again! Kimaji sure hoped she wasn't crazy, or she hadn't eaten anything strange, or something. She hurried over to the trees, actually mostly to jump over them, but as she got closer, she realized that the one needing help was... Well, stuck in them.
She peered down over one of the trunks and found the cheetah there, stuck. "Hi! What's wrong?" Kimaji was actually very bad at urgency, and hadn't yet realized exactly what kind of a pickle the white cheetah was in.

It was a lioness, in the likes she had never seen before. " I don't suppose you have someone with you that could help me get me out? I'm wedged pretty firmly in between these tree trunks." She wiggled her body to prove her point and shivered as a stray wave hit her in the butt. "Any help would be appreciated!!" The last sentence came out with more panic then the rest. She so did not want to drown and die in this place, she had too much to live for and so what if she may have been acting a little dramatic! This situtation called for it in her mind.

Kimaji frowned. "I'm alone." She pointed out sadly. Sadly, because Kimaji was actually a rather small lioness, and wasn't sure she could handle this task alone. She climbed up on the tree trunk to get a better idea of what was going on. Yep, the cheetah seemed pretty firmly stuck.
She glanced at the water, and realized that the waves were creeping closer and closer to the trunks. In fact, the very end of one of them was already hit! she better hurry. "Umm... I know!" She climbed back down, out of sight from the cheetah. "Hang on!" Which wasn't necessary, because the cheetah couldn't move.

"Oh- careful!" Netta bit her lip as she watched the lioness climb onto the tree trunk. " I was doing that just before it snapped and I fell down. Wai- oh don't go." Netta wasn't aware the other was coming back as the other females voice was cut off by the sound of waves crashing. Then 'hang on' echoed back down to her and she sighed with relief. She wouldn't be left alone and she hoped the smallish lioness would have a game plan cause her leg was starting to throb painfully. She looked up at the heavens. "If I make it out of this gods of africa I swear to near pull a 'love'em and leave'em' act ever again. Hell-um heck I'll even play nice with others that come my way."

The lioness couldn't hear Netta's voice anymore, not only because of the sound of rushing waves but because she was rather intently focused at the job at hand. What she was really doing was digging along the base of one of the trunks to loosen it up a little. She didn't really have time to dig the cheetah out, but...
Once satisfied she climbed back over the trunk, then right down between it and the other one. "Okay! I dunno how your paw is, but..." She didn't know what to say, so she just shrugged and shifted in between the logs. Even though Kimaji was small, she was still a lion and it was a rather tight fit. Eventually she got into the ideal position, her paws against one log, and he back against the other. Then she pushed.
Because of her digging, one of the logs had gotten much loser, which made forcing it away possible. Otherwise, she would have had to push the log and a lot of sand at the same time, and Kimaji just wasn't strong enough for that.
But she could do this! On her second try at shoving, the log moved, and once it started it was easier to push it further away.
Panting, Kimaji stopped. "Are you free? Can you move?"

Holding her breath as she watched her rescuer work to free her Netta almost gasped as she pushed. At the sound of a crack she looked down and breathlessly laughed. She was free! As quick as she could she pulled her leg out and hobbled up the stoney path as fast as she could move. "Thank you! Thank you so much." Netta panted through the pain which was minimal compared to what could have happened. "You saved my life and for that I can never repay you a total strange." She bowed her thanks as she didn't think the other female would apprecipate a nuzzle. " From now on I will watch what I am doing before going into a dangerous situation. I think I'm just going to rest here for a bit and relax, phew. I owe you the most juiciest fruit I can find."

She smiled at the cheetah, happy that she had managed to do some good. "You're welcome! I'm glad you're okay." Kimaji thought this white cheetah talked quite funny, and that was neat. She kind of wanted to sit and chat a bit more, but the white cat said she wanted to rest. Well, bummer!
"Okay! Take care, ok?" Kimaji wouldn't always be there to save this cheetah! But she said she'd be careful, so the gray lioness climbed her way back out from between the logs. "Bye!" With that she leapt off and continued on her way.
Saving people felt nice!
